Sonora High School (SOHS) is a public high school located at 401 S. Palm Street in La Habra, north Orange County, California. One of seven high schools in the Fullerton Joint Union High School District, Sonora served over 1,944 students in the 2012-2013 school year. The school has an International Baccalaureate program, honors, and Advanced Placement (AP) options available for certain classes and is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). The Alma Mater of the school, "Sons of old Sonora High, raise your voices to the sky! Raider now forever true, Sonora, praise to you! Blue and gold will light your name, long may reign your noble fame! Raiders join and sing anew, Sonora, praise to you!" This school is not to be confused with Sonora High School in Sonora, CA.

Brea City Hall Park, in Brea, California, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. The Brea City Hall, designed by architect Allen Ruott, is combination of Art Deco and Spanish Colonial Revival in styling and was built in 1928.It included a public library as well as the site for the Brea Police Department and jail.The site is located near the original Downtown Brea and is one of the city's oldest remaining structures. An American Legion Hall, built in 1931, is another contributing building in the listing. The building has been restored and is now home to the Brea Lions Scout Center. The agreement was approved by the City Council in 1994. The City of Brea provided $200,000 and the Brea Lion Scout Foundation added $168,000 for the first phase.

The La Habra City Elementary School District is located in the northwestern part of Orange County, California, United States and covers a five-mile area that includes the city of La Habra and parts of La Habra Heights, Brea and Fullerton. The district serves approximately 4,700 students, with seven elementary schools for students in transitional kindergarten (T-K) through sixth grade and two middle schools for grades six through eight. The Middle School Academies provide students in grades six through eight, with a Comprehensive academic program, which recognizes the special needs and characteristics of this age group. The Academy of the Arts emphasizes the integration of the Arts into the core academic program and has expanded elective offerings in the creative and performing Arts. The Science and Technology Academy focuses on elective courses that integrate Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics. Upon completion of eighth grade, students attend either La Habra High School or Sonora High School. These high schools are part of the Fullerton Joint Union High School District. Students may also take an assessment to get into Troy High School in Fullerton, also part of the Fullerton High School District.

The Brea Mall is a shopping mall located in the Orange County city of Brea, California. Since 1998, the mall has been owned and operated by the Simon Property Group. It is home to four major department stores, 179 specialty shops and boutiques, and a food court. It is 1,281,795 sq ft (119,083 m2). The anchors are Macy's, Macy's Men's & Home, JCPenney, and Nordstrom with one vacant anchor last occupied by Sears that has yet to be redeveloped into Life Time Fitness, retail, entertainment, and apartments.

California's 40th congressional district is a congressional district in the U.S. state of California, encompassing Orange, San Bernardino, and Riverside counties. The district is currently represented by Republican Young Kim. It was one of 18 districts that would have voted for Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election had they existed in their current configuration while being won or held by a Republican in 2022. St. Jude Medical Center is a faith-based, not-for-profit hospital, located in Fullerton, California, which was established by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange in 1957.Part of the St. Joseph Health System, St. Jude Medical Center serves as a quaternary and referral center for a variety of patient services, including one of California's only accredited programs in spinal cord injury, brain injury, and comprehensive stroke rehabilitation. Other areas of specialty include: high- and low-risk maternity, digestive diseases and GI surgery, orthopedics and joint replacement, neurosciences, women's health, rehabilitation, cardiac care, robotic and minimally-invasive surgery, and cancer care. In 2014, the hospital opened the $255 million Northwest Tower, which along with the Southwest Tower built several years earlier, created private patient rooms. Key areas of expansion included three entire floors dedicated to maternity services and another floor encompassing 14 "smart" surgical suites, including a "hybrid" cardiovascular suite with robotic c-arm imaging, and a dedicated neurosurgery suite with intraoperative MRI. Additional surgical technology includes da Vinci surgical robots as well as the superDimension robotic system for lung cancer treatment.

Brea Olinda High School is a 9th–12th grade public high school located in Brea, California. Established in 1927, the school was originally located across the street from the Brea Mall. In 1989, the school moved to its current location on the northern hills of Brea. Brea Olinda High School is a part of the Brea Olinda Unified School District.

La Habra High School is a public co-educational high school located in the Orange County, California city of La Habra. Located between the Coyote Hills to the south and Puente Hills to the north, LHHS opened in 1954 and graduated its first class in 1956. It is a California Distinguished High School and has been nominated as a National Blue Ribbon School. The school is a member of the Fullerton Joint Union High School District. LHHS absorbed a majority of the students from nearby Lowell High School when it closed in June 1980.

The East Coyote Hills are a low mountain range in northern Orange County, California, mostly in the cities of Fullerton and Placentia.The hills received their name from the nearby Rancho Los Coyotes; by the 1870s they were being called Coyote Hills. Most of the East Coyote Hills were developed as residential areas in the 1980s and 1990s. Several equestrian and pedestrian trails have been built through the area, as well as a golf course and Craig Regional Park.
