California's 40th congressional district is a congressional district in the U.S. state of California, encompassing Orange, San Bernardino, and Riverside counties. The district is currently represented by Republican Young Kim. It was one of 18 districts that would have voted for Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election had they existed in their current configuration while being won or held by a Republican in 2022. The district includes Yorba Linda, Anaheim Hills, Orange, Chino Hills, Tustin, Mission Viejo, Aliso Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, Laguna Hills, Laguna Woods, Villa Park, Lake Forest, the unincorporated communities of North Tustin and Coto de Caza, and parts of Brea and Corona.

Hillcrest Park is a 37.8 acres (15 ha) park in Fullerton, California. Opened in 1922, it is the oldest park in the city of Fullerton. The park is located north of Downtown Fullerton and Fullerton College between Brea Boulevard, Harbor Boulevard, Valley View Drive, and Lemon Street. It is operated by the Fullerton Department of Parks and Recreation. The park is nestled among hilly terrain, offering views to the west and south from its peak. Within the park are a large historic fountain, picnic areas, trails, restrooms, the Hillcrest Stairs, and the Hillcrest Recreation Center.

The Fullerton Fire Department is the agency that provides fire protection and emergency medical services for Fullerton, California. The department is responsible for an area of approximately 22 square miles (57 km2) that has a population of just over 135,000 as of 2010.

Fullerton ( FUUL-ər-tən) is a city located in northern Orange County, California, United States. As of the 2020 census, the city had a total population of 143,617.Fullerton was founded in 1887. It secured the land on behalf of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway. Historically it was a center of agriculture, notably groves of Valencia oranges and other citrus crops; petroleum extraction; transportation; and manufacturing. It is home to numerous higher educational institutions, particularly California State University, Fullerton and Fullerton College. From the mid-1940s through the late 1990s, Fullerton was home to a large industrial base made up of aerospace contractors, canneries, paper products manufacturers, and is considered to be the birthplace of the electric guitar, due in large part to Leo Fender. The headquarters of Vons, which is owned by Albertsons, is located in Fullerton near the Fullerton–Anaheim line.

Fox Theatre is a historic movie theater located on Harbor Boulevard in Fullerton, California. Built in 1925 as part of the chain of Fox Theatres, the theater was closed and abandoned in 1987. The Fullerton Historic Theatre Foundation is currently in the process of fundraising and restoring the theater. Constructed by prominent local businessman C. Stanley Chapman, the building was designed as a combination of vaudeville and silent movie house flanked by a one-story retail wing, two-story café, and an having an Italian Renaissance theme. The original lines of this building are now obscured by the many later renovations and additions, including the subsequent construction of the building at the northeast corner of Harbor Boulevard and Chapman Avenue.

Fullerton Union High School is a public high school located in the Orange County, California city of Fullerton, operated by the Fullerton Joint Union High School District.

The Spring Field Banquet Center in Fullerton, California is a historic building built in Mission/Spanish Revival style. It was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1995. Originally constructed in 1920 as a Masonic meeting hall, the Freemasons sold the building in 1993, due to declining membership and funds. The current owner completely rehabilitated the building in 1995. The building now houses the Spring Field Banquet Center, a commercial banquet hall and reception center.

Fullerton College (FC) is a public community college in Fullerton, California. The college is part of the California Community Colleges System and the North Orange County Community College District. Established in 1913, it is the oldest community college in continuous operation in California.

The historic Fullerton City Hall, at 237 W. Commonwealth Ave. in Fullerton, California, was built during 1939 to 1942. It was designed in Mission Revival style by influential architect G. Stanley Wilson, and was made of poured concrete. Ceramic tiles and terra cotta for the project were produced by Gladding, McBean and Company. The current city hall, at 303 W. Commonwealth Avenue, is a different building. The historic building has included the Fullerton Police Department, the Fullerton Jail and the Wayne H. Bornhoft Facility. It has served as a city hall, a courthouse, and a meeting hall.

The Hetebrink House is a Mission Revival style historic home in Fullerton, California, built in 1914 for John Hetebrink. Located on the south-east corner of what is now Fullerton College, the building has been uninhabited since 2001.

Fullerton First Methodist Episcopal Church (also known as Seventh Day Adventist Church ; Church of Religious Science) is a historic church building at 117 N. Pomona Avenue in Fullerton, California. By 2000 it was a Centers for Spiritual Living church. It was built in 1909 in the Late Gothic Revival style. The church was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2001 as "Fullerton First Methodist Episcopal Church".It is about 40 by 82 feet (12 m × 25 m) in plan and has a square bell tower with a crenellated parapet.

The Fullerton Police Department of Fullerton, California, was established in 1904 when the city incorporated. The Fullerton Police Department currently employs 153 sworn officers and 78 civilian employees. It has a budget of about $35 million. The current chief is David Hendricks. The department has a Uniform Division, a Service Division and a Detective Division all commanded by officers in the rank of captain.
