It is bordered to the north, east, and south by the borough of Hollidaysburg. U.S. Route 22 (Broad Street) runs next to the southern edge of the CDP, while the parallel Altoona–Hollidaysburg line of the Norfolk Southern Railway forms the actual CDP/borough boundary. US 22 leads east into Hollidaysburg and west 1 mile (1.6 km) to Duncansville. Beaverdam Branch, an east-flowing tributary of the Frankstown Branch of the Juniata River, runs through the northern part of the CDP.

It is bordered to the south by the borough of Duncansville, to the east by Interstate 99, to the west by U.S. Route 22, and to the north by exit 28 connecting the two highways. It is 4 miles (6 km) by road west of Hollidaysburg, the county seat, and it is 7 miles (11 km) south of Altoona.

Blair County Courthouse is a historic courthouse building located at Hollidaysburg, Blair County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1875–1876, and is a "T" shaped stone building in the Gothic Revival style. The entrance is flanked by two square, three-story towers with truncated pyramidal roofs. The building generally features elaborate stonework and a five-story clock tower topped by a tall stone spire. A three-story rear addition was built in 1906.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

Altoona is 6 miles (10 km) to the north, Duncansville is 2 miles (3 km) to the south, and Hollidaysburg is 3 miles (5 km) to the southeast. Cross Keys is in the valley of Beaverdam Branch, which flows southeastward to join the Frankstown Branch of the Juniata River east of Hollidaysburg.

Hollidaysburg is a borough in and the county seat of Blair County in the U.S. Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. It is located on the Juniata River, 5 miles (8 km) south of Altoona and is part of the Altoona, Pennsylvania, metropolitan statistical area. In 1900, 2,998 people lived in the borough, in 1910, 3,734 lived there, and in 1940, 5,910 residents were counted. The population was 5,641 at the 2020 census. Coal, iron ore, ganister, and limestone are found in the vicinity. In the past, the borough had foundries and machine shops, a silk mill, car works and classification yards. From 1834 to 1854, the borough was an important port on Pennsylvania Main Line Canal, where the Juniata Division Canal connected to the Allegheny Portage Railroad. The center of Hollidaysburg is frequently referred to as "The Diamond," where the buildings and parking spaces form a diamond. This area serves as the hub for parades, festivals and other town celebrations.

Highland Hall, also known as the Courthouse Annex, was a Presbyterian seminary, an historic school building for females, a radio school during World War II, and a county office building before it became a retirement home in 2016. It is located in Hollidaysburg, Blair County, Pennsylvania. Highland Hall was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

It was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census.The CDP is in south-central Blair County, in the eastern part of Blair Township. It is on the south side of the valley of the Frankstown Branch Juniata River. Reservoir Road is the main street through the community, leading northeast 1.5 miles (2.4 km) to Loop and southwest 4 miles (6 km) to McKee. Hollidaysburg, the Blair county seat, is 4 miles (6 km) to the north by road. Loop Mountain rises to the southeast to an elevation of 2,495 feet (760 m).

Foot of Ten is a census-designated place in Allegheny and Juniata Townships in Blair County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is located approximately one mile west of the small borough Duncansville on Foot of Ten Road, and about 2.5 miles (4 km) north of the even smaller borough Newry. It is often considered a region of Duncansville, despite lying outside the borough limits. As of the 2010 census, the population was 672 residents.The town was named Foot of Ten because of its location at the foot of the tenth inclined plane of the Allegheny Portage Railroad.
