MacEwan Glen (commonly known as MacEwan) is a neighbourhood in northwest Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The primarily low-density residential community is the only community that is directly attached to Nose Hill Park and is bounded by Country Hills Boulevard to the north, 14 Street NW to the east, Shaganappi Trail to the west, and Nose Hill Park to the south. Development of the community began in 1978, and was completed in the late 1990s. It was named for John Walter Grant MacEwan, Calgary mayor and Lieutenant Governor of Alberta. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 3 councillor, Jasmine Mian.

Beddington Heights is an established suburban neighbourhood in northwest Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The community is bounded by Berkshire Boulevard to the north, Beddington Trail to the east, Beddington Boulevard to the south and 14th Street W to the west. Beddington Heights is in Ward 4.

Hidden Valley is a residential neighbourhood in the northwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is located close to the northern edge of the city, and is bounded by Stoney Trail to the north, Beddington Trail to the east, Country Hills Boulevard to the south, and Shaganappi Trail to the west. Hidden Valley was established in 1990. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 3 councillor.

Country Hills is a residential neighbourhood in the northwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is bounded to the north by the Country Hills Boulevard, to the south by Beddington Trail, and to the east by Harvest Hills Boulevard. To the southwest, it is bordered by the Country Hills golf course which began construction in 1989 and opened in 1992. The clubhouse along with the fully developed course opened in 1999. the area is also bordered by the West Nose Creek. The new community of Country Hills Village is located in the northeast of the neighbourhood. Country Hills is a generally calm and quiet area. Country Hills was established in 1990. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 3 councillor.

Panorama Hills is a suburban residential neighbourhood in the northwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. Located at the northern edge of the city, north of Country Hills boulevard. The neighbourhood Coventry Hills is directly east. The community was established in 1994, built by Ultima Development Corporation on land purchased from members of the Country Hills Golf Course. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 3 councillor.The historical sites Reverend George McDougall Cairn and the John A. Lewis Rock Quarry are located within the neighbourhood, and it borders the Country Hills golf course to the southwest.

Evanston is a residential neighbourhood in the northwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. Located near the north edge of the city, it is bounded by the Kincora community across Shaganappi Trail to the southwest, the Sage Hill community to the west, Sarcee Trail to the west, 144 Avenue N.W. to the north, 14 Street N.W. to the east, and the Panorama Hills and Hidden Valley communities across Stoney Trail to the southeast and south. It is one of five communities located within the Symons Valley area.Evanston is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 2 councillor.

It is the fourth-largest urban park in Canada, and one of the largest urban parks in North America. It is a municipal park, unlike Fish Creek, which is a provincial park. It was created in 1980.

Huntington Hills is a residential neighbourhood in the northwest and northeast quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is bounded to the north by Beddington Boulevard, to the east by Deerfoot Trail and the Nose Creek, to the south by 64 Avenue N and to the west by the Nose Hill Park and 14 Street W. Centre Street runs through the neighbourhood. The land was annexed to the City of Calgary in 1961 and Huntington Hills was established in 1967. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 4 councillor.
