Hidden Valley is a residential neighbourhood in the northwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is located close to the northern edge of the city, and is bounded by Stoney Trail to the north, Beddington Trail to the east, Country Hills Boulevard to the south, and Shaganappi Trail to the west. Hidden Valley was established in 1990. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 3 councillor.

Located near the north edge of the city, it is bounded by the Sherwood community across Shaganappi Trail to the west, the Sage Hill community across 128 Avenue N.W. to the north, the Evanston community across Symons Valley Road (Highway 772) to the east, and the Hidden Valley community across Stoney Trail to the south. MacEwan Glen (commonly known as MacEwan) is a neighbourhood in northwest Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The primarily low-density residential community is the only community that is directly attached to Nose Hill Park and is bounded by Country Hills Boulevard to the north, 14 Street NW to the east, Shaganappi Trail to the west, and Nose Hill Park to the south. Development of the community began in 1978, and was completed in the late 1990s. It was named for John Walter Grant MacEwan, Calgary mayor and Lieutenant Governor of Alberta. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 3 councillor, Jasmine Mian.

Sandstone Valley is a suburban neighbourhood in northwest Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Located northwest of the community of Beddington Heights, this primarily low-density residential community is bounded by Country Hills Boulevard to the north, Beddington Trail to the east, Berkshire Boulevard to the south and 14th Street W to the west. The Nose Hill Park is located southwest from the community. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 4 councillor. Development of this community began in 1982, and was recently completed.

It is located close to the northern edge of the city, and is bounded to the north by Stoney Trail, to the east by Shaganappi Trail, to the south by Country Hills Boulevard, and to the west by Sarcee Trail. The land was annexed in two stages, the southern area in 1976 and the northern one in 1989. The Hamptons was established as a neighbourhood in 1990. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 2 councillor.The community is home to an Olympic size hockey rink and an annual Stampede breakfast.

The neighbourhood Coventry Hills is directly east. The community was established in 1994, built by Ultima Development Corporation on land purchased from members of the Country Hills Golf Course. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 3 councillor.The historical sites Reverend George McDougall Cairn and the John A. Lewis Rock Quarry are located within the neighbourhood, and it borders the Country Hills golf course to the southwest.
