Nose Hill Park

Calgary-Nose Creek was a provincial electoral district in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, mandated to return a single member to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta using the first past the post method of voting from 1993 to 2004.

MacEwan Glen (commonly known as MacEwan) is a neighbourhood in northwest Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The primarily low-density residential community is the only community that is directly attached to Nose Hill Park and is bounded by Country Hills Boulevard to the north, 14 Street NW to the east, Shaganappi Trail to the west, and Nose Hill Park to the south. Development of the community began in 1978, and was completed in the late 1990s. It was named for John Walter Grant MacEwan, Calgary mayor and Lieutenant Governor of Alberta. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 3 councillor, Jasmine Mian.

Calgary-North (previously styled Calgary North) is a single member electoral district in Calgary, Alberta. The electoral district existed from 1959 to 1971, and was re-established for the 2019 Alberta general election.

Brentwood is a neighbourhood in the northwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is bounded by John Laurie Boulevard to the north, Crowchild Trail to the south, Shaganappi Trail to the west, and Brisbois Drive & Charleswood Drive on the east. Nose Hill Park lies to the north of John Laurie Boulevard and is not part of Brentwood. Brentwood was established in 1960. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 4 councillor.Brentwood station is in Brentwood and about seven bus lines run through the neighborhood.The Northland Village Mall is located in the western extremity of the neighbourhood. Brentwood was scene to the 2014 Calgary stabbings.

On April 15, 2014, Matthew de Grood, son of Calgary Police Inspector Doug de Grood, stabbed five young adults to death at a house party in the Brentwood neighbourhood of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The party was several blocks away from the University of Calgary campus, and held to mark the end of its school year. It was Calgary's deadliest massacre.

Sir Winston Churchill High School is a senior high school in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It derives its name from Sir Winston Churchill, two-term prime minister of the United Kingdom. The high school is built in the Northwest community of Brentwood. The school offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme, various second languages, and numerous clubs and teams.

Hidden Valley is a residential neighbourhood in the northwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is located close to the northern edge of the city, and is bounded by Stoney Trail to the north, Beddington Trail to the east, Country Hills Boulevard to the south, and Shaganappi Trail to the west. Hidden Valley was established in 1990. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 3 councillor.

Collingwood is a residential neighbourhood in the northwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is located immediately south of the Nose Hill Park and John Laurie Boulevard, and west from 14th Street W. To the south it is bordered by Confederation Park, Canmore Park and the Confederation Park golf course. The area was annexed to the City of Calgary in 1910, and Collingwood was established in 1959. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 4 councillor.

Sandstone Valley is a suburban neighbourhood in northwest Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Located northwest of the community of Beddington Heights, this primarily low-density residential community is bounded by Country Hills Boulevard to the north, Beddington Trail to the east, Berkshire Boulevard to the south and 14th Street W to the west. The Nose Hill Park is located southwest from the community. It is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 4 councillor. Development of this community began in 1982, and was recently completed.

Charleswood is a residential neighbourhood in the northwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is located east of Crowchild Trail and the University of Calgary. It borders the Nose Hill Park to the north and the Confederation Park to the southeast. Charleswood is represented in the Calgary City Council by the Ward 4 councillor.

Northland Village Mall was a shopping mall located in northwest Calgary, Alberta. The mall opened in 1971, with it being further expanded in 2005. The mall closed in 2021, with demolition to redevelop the mall happening throughout the year 2022 to turn it into an open-air facility. Prior to 2021, Northland Village was a one-level shopping centre (with a small two-level section with over 60 retail shops and services). It is located at the intersection of Crowchild Trail and Shaganappi Trail, in the neighbourhoods of Brentwood and Dalhousie.
