Al-Mazra'a al-Qibliya was a Palestinian village in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate. In 2005 it merged with the village of Abu Shukheidim to form the town of Al-Zaitounah.

Talmon (Hebrew: טַלְמוֹן) is an Israeli settlement in the West Bank. Located in the West Binyamin at an elevation of nearly 600 metres and 18 km east of Modiin, it is organised as a community settlement and falls under the jurisdiction of Mateh Binyamin Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 5,142. The international community considers Israeli settlements in the West Bank illegal under international law, but the Israeli government disputes this.

Ein Qiniya or 'Ayn Kiniya (Arabic: عين قينيا) is a Palestinian village in the northern West Bank, located 7 kilometers (4.3 mi) northwest of Ramallah and is a part of the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate. Ein Qiniya has existed since the Roman-era of rule in Palestine. The village is very small with no public structures or institutions and is governed by a local development committee. Ein Qiniya is regionally notable for being a spring and autumn time picnic resort.There is an annual walk on March 4 from Ramallah to Ein Qiniyya in celebration of the spring.

Al-Zaitounah (Arabic: الزيتونة, meaning "the Olive") is a Palestinian town in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate. It was formed in 2005 as the result of a merger of the villages of Abu Shukheidim and al-Mazra'a al-Qibliya. In 2007, al-Zaitounah had a population of 6,190, according to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics.

Dolev (Hebrew: דולב, דֹּלֶב) is an Israeli settlement organized as a community settlement in the West Bank. Located 17 mi (27 km) north-west of Jerusalem, it falls under the jurisdiction of Mateh Binyamin Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 1,569. Israeli settlements in the West Bank are widely considered to be illegal under international law, but the Israeli government disputes this.

Neria (Hebrew: נֵרִיָּה, Arabic: نيريا, romanized: Nariyā), also known as Talmon Tzafon (Hebrew: טַלְמוֹן צָפוֹן, lit. 'North Talmon') or Talmon Bet (Hebrew: טַלְמוֹן ב', lit. 'Talmon B'), is a national-religious Israeli settlement in the West Bank, officially recognised by the Israeli government as a "neighborhood" of Talmon. It sits between Modi'in Illit and Ramallah, it is organised as a community settlement and falls under the jurisdiction of Mateh Binyamin Regional Council. It has a population of around 300 families. The international community considers Israeli settlements in the West Bank illegal under international law, but the Israeli government disputes this.The village was established in 1991 by a number of families who had met at Mercaz HaRav yeshiva, and was named after Rabbi Moshe-Zvi Neria. The community is led by spiritual leader Rabbi Michael Hershkovitz, a current teacher at Mercaz HaRav.

Al-Janiya (Arabic: الجانيه) is a Palestinian village in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate located 8 kilometers northwest of Ramallah in the northern West Bank. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS), the village had a population of 1,400 inhabitants by late 2014.

Nahliel (Hebrew: נַחֲלִיאֵל) is a Haredi Israeli settlement in the West Bank. Located close to the Palestinian villages of Beitillu and Deir 'Ammar, and some 20 kilometres (12 mi) from Modi'in, it is organised as a community settlement and falls under the jurisdiction of the Mateh Binyamin Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 737. The international community considers Israeli settlements in the West Bank illegal under international law, but the Israeli government disputes this.

Birzeit University (BZU; Arabic: جامعة بيرزيت) is a public university in the West Bank, in the State of Palestine, registered by the Palestinian Ministry of Social Affairs as charitable organization. It is accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and located in Birzeit, West Bank, near Ramallah. Established in 1924 as an Elementary School for girls, Birzeit became a University in 1975.Birzeit University offers graduate and undergraduate programs in information technology, engineering, sciences, social policy, arts, law, nursing, pharmacy, health sciences, economics, and management. It has 9 faculties, including a graduate faculty. These offer 76 B.A. programs for undergraduate students and 39 M.A. programs for graduate students. As of 2020, more than 15,000 students are enrolled in the university's bachelor's, master's and PhD programs.

Abu Qash (Arabic: ابو قش) is a Palestinian village located in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate in the northern West Bank, located north of Ramallah and south of the Birzeit University. According to the 2017 census conducted by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, it had a population of 2,237.

Ein 'Arik (Arabic: عين عريك) is a Palestinian town in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate, located 7 kilometers west of Ramallah in the northern West Bank. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS), the town had a population of 1,567 inhabitants consisting of Muslims (65%) and Christians (35%) in 2007.
