Al-Zaitounah

Abu Shukheidim was a Palestinian village in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate. In 2005 it merged with the village of Al-Mazra'a al-Qibliya to form the town of Al-Zaitounah.

Birzeit University (BZU; Arabic: جامعة بيرزيت) is a public university in the West Bank, in the State of Palestine, registered by the Palestinian Ministry of Social Affairs as charitable organization. It is accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and located in Birzeit, West Bank, near Ramallah. Established in 1924 as an Elementary School for girls, Birzeit became a University in 1975.Birzeit University offers graduate and undergraduate programs in information technology, engineering, sciences, social policy, arts, law, nursing, pharmacy, health sciences, economics, and management. It has 9 faculties, including a graduate faculty. These offer 76 B.A. programs for undergraduate students and 39 M.A. programs for graduate students. As of 2020, more than 15,000 students are enrolled in the university's bachelor's, master's and PhD programs.

The Palestinian Museum is a museum in Birzeit, in the West Bank, State of Palestine, that was inaugurated on 18 May 2016. It is a flagship project of the Welfare Association, a non-profit organization for developing humanitarian projects in Palestine. Representing the history and aspirations of the Palestinian people, the museum aims to discuss the past, present, and future of Palestine.The museum building is located 25 km north of Jerusalem. The inaugural exhibition, "Jerusalem Lives", was opened on 26 August 2017.On 29 August 2019, the museum received the Aga Khan Award for Architecture.

Abu Qash (Arabic: ابو قش) is a Palestinian village located in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate in the northern West Bank, located north of Ramallah and south of the Birzeit University. According to the 2017 census conducted by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, it had a population of 2,237.

Harasha, or Haresha (Hebrew: חרשה), is an Israeli outpost in the northern section of the West Bank, located in the Dolev region near Talmon. At 770 metres, the view from the village reaches Hadera in the northwest, Ashkelon in the southwest, and Jerusalem in the east. The international community considers Israeli settlements in the West Bank illegal under international law, but the Israeli government disputes this. Israel further considers unauthorized outposts illegal under domestic law.

Nahliel (Hebrew: נַחֲלִיאֵל) is a Haredi Israeli settlement in the West Bank. Located close to the Palestinian villages of Beitillu and Deir 'Ammar, and some 20 kilometres (12 mi) from Modi'in, it is organised as a community settlement and falls under the jurisdiction of the Mateh Binyamin Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 737. The international community considers Israeli settlements in the West Bank illegal under international law, but the Israeli government disputes this.

Kobar (Arabic: كوبر) is a Palestinian village in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate in the northern West Bank. Kobar is located at an altitude of 670 meters (2,200 ft) above sea level with a mean annual rainfall of 669.8 mm. The average annual temperature is 16 °C and the average annual humidity is approximately 61%. Since 1996, Kobar has been governed by a village council which is currently administrated by 11 members appointed by the Palestinian National Authority. There are two further employees working in the council; the village council owns a permanent headquarters and is included within a Joint Services Council for neighboring localities.

Burham (Arabic: بُرهام) is a Palestinian village in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate located twelve kilometers north of Ramallah. The largest nearby town is Bir Zeit located to the southeast. The average elevation of Burham is 680 meters above sea level. The village was established during the Byzantine Empire rule over Palestine.

Ein Qiniya or 'Ayn Kiniya (Arabic: عين قينيا) is a Palestinian village in the northern West Bank, located 7 kilometers (4.3 mi) northwest of Ramallah and is a part of the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate. Ein Qiniya has existed since the Roman-era of rule in Palestine. The village is very small with no public structures or institutions and is governed by a local development committee. Ein Qiniya is regionally notable for being a spring and autumn time picnic resort.There is an annual walk on March 4 from Ramallah to Ein Qiniyya in celebration of the spring.

Birzeit (Arabic: بيرزيت), also Bir Zeit, is a Palestinian Christian town north of Ramallah, in the central West Bank. Its population in the 2007 census was 4,529. Birzeit is the home to Birzeit University and to the Birzeit Brewery.

Talmon (Hebrew: טַלְמוֹן) is an Israeli settlement in the West Bank. Located in the West Binyamin at an elevation of nearly 600 metres and 18 km east of Modiin, it is organised as a community settlement and falls under the jurisdiction of Mateh Binyamin Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 5,142. The international community considers Israeli settlements in the West Bank illegal under international law, but the Israeli government disputes this.
