Birzeit University

The Palestinian Museum is a museum in Birzeit, in the West Bank, State of Palestine, that was inaugurated on 18 May 2016. It is a flagship project of the Welfare Association, a non-profit organization for developing humanitarian projects in Palestine. Representing the history and aspirations of the Palestinian people, the museum aims to discuss the past, present, and future of Palestine.The museum building is located 25 km north of Jerusalem. The inaugural exhibition, "Jerusalem Lives", was opened on 26 August 2017.On 29 August 2019, the museum received the Aga Khan Award for Architecture.

Abu Qash (Arabic: ابو قش) is a Palestinian village located in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate in the northern West Bank, located north of Ramallah and south of the Birzeit University. According to the 2017 census conducted by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, it had a population of 2,237.

Abu Shukheidim was a Palestinian village in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate. In 2005 it merged with the village of Al-Mazra'a al-Qibliya to form the town of Al-Zaitounah.

Al-Zaitounah (Arabic: الزيتونة, meaning "the Olive") is a Palestinian town in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate. It was formed in 2005 as the result of a merger of the villages of Abu Shukheidim and al-Mazra'a al-Qibliya. In 2007, al-Zaitounah had a population of 6,190, according to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics.

Birzeit (Arabic: بيرزيت), also Bir Zeit, is a Palestinian Christian town north of Ramallah, in the central West Bank. Its population in the 2007 census was 4,529. Birzeit is the home to Birzeit University and to the Birzeit Brewery.

Birzeit camp is a Palestinian refugee camp established in 1948. It is located on both sides of a street in the center of the town of Birzeit in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate. Until now, the camp has not been recognized by the United Nations refugee agency UNRWA.

The Edward Said National Conservatory of Music (Arabic: معهد ادوارد سعيد الوطني للموسيقى Ma`had Edward Sa`īd al-Waṭaniy lil-Musīqā) is a Palestinian music conservatory with branches in Ramallah, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Nablus and Gaza City. In total, there are more than 1,000 students. It was established in 1993 as The National Conservatory of Music, with its first branch in Ramallah, opening in October of that year. In September 2004, the name of the conservatory was changed to The Edward Said National Conservatory of Music in honor of the Palestinian music critic and intellectual Edward Said, the accomplished classical pianist and scholar of international studies, and a founder and benefactor of music for east–west dialogue (see the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra and Barenboim-Said Akademie).

Surda (Arabic: سرده) is a Palestinian town in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate, located northeast of Ramallah in the northern West Bank. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS), the town had a population of 1,031 inhabitants in 2007.

Al-Mazra'a al-Qibliya was a Palestinian village in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate. In 2005 it merged with the village of Abu Shukheidim to form the town of Al-Zaitounah.

Burham (Arabic: بُرهام) is a Palestinian village in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate located twelve kilometers north of Ramallah. The largest nearby town is Bir Zeit located to the southeast. The average elevation of Burham is 680 meters above sea level. The village was established during the Byzantine Empire rule over Palestine.

Jalazone (Arabic: مخيّم الجلزون) is a Palestinian refugee camp in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate, located 7 kilometers (4.3 mi) north of Ramallah and adjacent to the village of Jifna to the north, Deir Dibwan to the east, Bir Zeit to the west and the Beit El Israeli settlement to the southeast.

Harasha, or Haresha (Hebrew: חרשה), is an Israeli outpost in the northern section of the West Bank, located in the Dolev region near Talmon. At 770 metres, the view from the village reaches Hadera in the northwest, Ashkelon in the southwest, and Jerusalem in the east. The international community considers Israeli settlements in the West Bank illegal under international law, but the Israeli government disputes this. Israel further considers unauthorized outposts illegal under domestic law.
