Bernal Heights Summit ( BUR-nəl) or Bernal Heights Hill is a hill in the San Francisco, California neighborhood of Bernal Heights. Upper elevations are part of Bernal Heights Park, which is managed by the San Francisco Recreation & Parks Department. At its highest elevation is a privately-owned equipment building and 50-foot tall telecommunications tower. The tower does not have an official name, but some residents call it "Sutrito", as it resembles a shorter version of Sutro Tower. The park and summit are largely surrounded by Bernal Heights Boulevard.

San Jose and Randall is a light rail stop on the Muni Metro J Church line, located in the median of San Jose Avenue at the north end of the Bernal Cut in the Bernal Heights neighborhood of San Francisco, California. The stop has two side platforms, each with an accessible mini-high platform. J Church and N Judah trains began using the extension of the J Church line along San Jose Avenue for carhouse moves on August 31, 1991. Although these trips were open to passengers, the extension and its stops did not open for full-time service until June 19, 1993.In March 2014, Muni released details of the proposed implementation of their Transit Effectiveness Project (later rebranded MuniForward), which included a variety of stop changes for the J Church line. No changes were proposed for San Jose and Randall.

High Bridge Arms was a gun shop located in the city of San Francisco.It was originally opened in the 1950s by Bob Chow, who had competed as a pistol shooter at the 1948 Olympics. It was located at 3185 Mission Street in the city's Bernal Heights neighborhood. High Bridge Arms has been a point of controversy as to whether it is creating crime in the area of its location. It has been closed in the past but was open and licensed as of 2012. It closed in late 2015. While the owner did not state a reason in public, media reports connected the closure to the concerns he had voiced several weeks earlier about new city regulations on firearms sales that were being proposed by Board of Supervisors member Mark Farrell. However, in 2018 it was revealed that shortly before the closure, ATF officials had recommended to revoke the license of High Bridge Arms because of "numerous, repeated serious violations of the Gun Control Act", including, allegedly, selling a firearm to a person prohibited from possessing it, and selling 71 guns without recording the sale.

Precita Park is a 2.06-acre (0.83 ha) municipal park in San Francisco, California. It is located at Folsom Street and Precita Avenue, which bounds both the north and south sides of the park, and is also bordered by Alabama Street, in the Bernal Heights neighborhood.

Rancho Rincón de las Salinas y Potrero Viejo was a 4,446-acre (17.99 km2) Mexican land grant, largely within present day southeastern San Francisco, California, and extending to San Mateo County, California . It was given in 1839 by Governor pro tem Manuel Jimeno to José Cornelio Bernal.The grant consisted of two grants - Rincon de las Salinas ("corner of a salty marsh" - around Islais Creek); and Potrero Viejo ("old pasture" - part of Mission Dolores). Rincon de las Salinas encompassed the present day southern San Francisco neighborhoods of Bernal Heights, Excelsior, Crocker-Amazon, and Outer Mission. Potrero Viejo encompassed present day Bayview and Hunters Point.

The stop is only served by inbound trains; outbound trains stop further north at Day Street. The stop has no platforms; passengers wait on the sidewalk on Church Street.

The stops opened with the line on August 11, 1917. Until the 1991 extension to Balboa Park station, the line's outer terminus was just to the south at 30th Street. Accessible mini-high platforms were added in 1997. In March 2014, Muni released details of the proposed implementation of their Transit Effectiveness Project (later rebranded MuniForward), which included a variety of stop changes for the J Church line. No changes were proposed for the stops at 29th Avenue and Day. In 2020, Muni proposed to close the inbound stop at 29th Street in favor of the stop at 30th Street.
