Tughlakabad Assembly constituency is one of the 70 Delhi Legislative Assembly constituencies of the National Capital Territory in northern India.

Okhla landfill is a dumping ground in Okhla, Delhi. Spread across an area of 40 acres, the site was commissioned in 1996 for the use of South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC). Of the 3,500 tonnes of waste collected by SDMC everyday, 1,200 tonnes were being dumped in the Okhla Landfill despite the site was declared exhausted in 2010. After reaching a height of 55 meters, thrice the permissible limit, the site was finally decommissioned in 2018. The civic agency now aims to complete the remediation of the Okhla landfill within one-and-a-half years to convert it into a green cover.

Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range is a shooting range in New Delhi, India. Spread over 18 acres, it is situated on South Delhi ridges in the backdrop of Adilabad Fort, near the historic Tughlaqabad Fort to its North and Surajkund Lake to its South West. It was first constructed for the 1982 Asian Games in New Delhi, and later rebuilt altogether for the 2010 Commonwealth Games. It was named after Karni Singh, who won the silver medal at the 38th World Shooting Championships at Cairo in 1962 and was the first shooter to be awarded the Arjuna Award in 1961. The reconstruction work started on 25 October 2008 and the project was completed at a cost of Rs. 150 crore in 13 months. It was dedicated to the nation on 31 January 2010 by Union Minister for Youth Affairs & Sports.

Tughluqabad Fort is a ruined fort in Delhi, India built by Ghiyasuddin Tughluq, the founder of the Tughlaq dynasty, of the Delhi Sultanate of India in 1321, as he established the third historic city of Delhi, which was later abandoned in 1327. It lends its name to the nearby Tughluqabad residential-commercial area as well as the Tughluqabad Institutional Area. Ghiyasuddin Tughluq also built the Qutub-Badarpur Road, which connected the new city to the Grand Trunk Road. The road is now known as Mehrauli-Badarpur Road. The entry fee for the Fort is Rs. 20 for Indians. Also, nearby is Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range and Okhla Industrial Area. Surroundings are an important biodiversity area within the Northern Aravalli leopard wildlife corridor stretching from Sariska Tiger Reserve to Delhi. Historical places around the sanctuary are Badkhal Lake, 6 km (3.7 mi) northeast, the tenth century ancient Surajkund reservoir and Anangpur Dam, Damdama Lake, Tughlaqabad Fort and Adilabad ruins (both in Delhi). It is contiguous to the seasonal waterfalls in Pali-Dhuaj-Kot villages of Faridabad, the sacred Mangar Bani and the Asola Bhatti Wildlife Sanctuary. There are several dozen lakes formed in the abandoned open pit mines in the forested hilly area of Delhi Ridge.

Electric Loco Shed, Tughlakabad is a motive power depot performing locomotive maintenance and repair facility for electric locomotives of the Indian Railways, located at Tughlakabad in Delhi, India. It is a WCR shed in NR territory. It is one of the three electric locomotive sheds of the West Central Railway, the others being at Itarsi and New Katni Jn. As of 1 March 2022, there are 262 locomotives in the shed.
