Tughlakabad railway station

Tughlakabad Station is an elevated station on the Violet Line of the Delhi Metro. It is located between Mohan Estate and Badarpur Border stations.

The power plant permanently shut down on 15 October 2018.

Electric Loco Shed, Tughlakabad is a motive power depot performing locomotive maintenance and repair facility for electric locomotives of the Indian Railways, located at Tughlakabad in Delhi, India. It is a WCR shed in NR territory. It is one of the three electric locomotive sheds of the West Central Railway, the others being at Itarsi and New Katni Jn. As of 1 March 2022, there are 262 locomotives in the shed.

Badarpur Border is an elevated station on the Violet Line of the Delhi Metro. The station is located close to the interstate border between the city of Faridabad in Haryana and Badarpur in Delhi and sees a large daily ridership owing to this fact. It was the terminal station of the Violet Line till September 5, 2015. It was earlier known as Badarpur, and was renamed in December 2014.

Okhla landfill is a dumping ground in Okhla, Delhi. Spread across an area of 40 acres, the site was commissioned in 1996 for the use of South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC). Of the 3,500 tonnes of waste collected by SDMC everyday, 1,200 tonnes were being dumped in the Okhla Landfill despite the site was declared exhausted in 2010. After reaching a height of 55 meters, thrice the permissible limit, the site was finally decommissioned in 2018. The civic agency now aims to complete the remediation of the Okhla landfill within one-and-a-half years to convert it into a green cover.

Mohan Estate is an elevated station on the Violet Line of the Delhi Metro. It is located between Sarita Vihar and Tughlakabad stations and close to the financial and industrial region of Mohan Estate in South Delhi.

Meethapur or Mithapur is a census town in the South East district of Delhi. India's longest expressway ie Delhi-Mumbai Expressway (NH-148NA) passes from this area. There is a famous crossway in Mithapur which is commonly known as Mithapur Chowk which serves Kalindi Kunj Road, Tanki Road-Jaitpur which connects Badarpur. There is Asia's biggest ecological park near Mithapur which is known as NTPC Eco Park.
