Tidenham () is a village and civil parish in the Forest of Dean of west Gloucestershire, England, adjoining the Welsh border. Tidenham is bounded by the River Wye (which forms the Welsh border) to the west and the River Severn to the south. Offa's Dyke runs through the western part of the parish, terminating at Sedbury cliff above the River Severn.

DEEP Campus, previously the National Diving and Activity Centre (NDAC), was a facility located at a large flooded quarry at Tidenham, Gloucestershire, England, near to the border with Wales at Chepstow. It was previously Dayhouse Quarry, a source of limestone, which was flooded in 1996. The diving centre opened in 2003, and closed in 2022.

Tidenham Station was the station for the village of Tidenham on the former Wye Valley Railway in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, England. It was opened in 1876 during the construction of the line and closed on 5 January 1959 following the closure of the line to passenger services. The next station on the line was Netherhope Halt.

Netherhope Halt was a railway station on the former Wye Valley Railway. It was opened in 1932 and closed in 1959; it was demolished soon afterwards.

The site was previously notified as Caerwood, Tidenham and lies within the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Woodcroft is a small village in the Forest of Dean district of Gloucestershire, England. It is located on the eastern bank of the River Wye, opposite Piercefield House, two miles north of the Welsh town of Chepstow. The village is immediately north of Tutshill, within the parish of Tidenham. The population in 2011 was 284.

Tutshill for Beachley Halt was a request stop on the South Wales Railway (now known as the Gloucester to Newport Line) and Wye Valley Railway. It was opened on 9 July 1934, and was intended to serve the nearby village of Tutshill. However, though the station was situated a short distance from the junction of the Wye Valley Railway and was still on the main line, the only trains which served the small halt were from the Wye Valley Railway and when the line closed on 5 January 1959, the stop closed with it.The station was built nearby to the site of Chepstow East Station, temporarily opened between 1851 and 1852.

It was the childhood home, between the ages of 9 and 18, of Joanne Rowling, author (as J. K. Rowling) of the Harry Potter series of fantasy books.

Lower Wye Gorge (grid reference ST548983, ST537967) is a 65-hectare (160-acre) biological and geological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Gloucestershire, notified in 1954 and renotified 1987. The site includes two Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust nature reserves being Ban-y-gor Wood and Lancaut. The Natural England citation states a revision for Lancaut inclusion.The site (Lancaut and Ban-y-gor) is listed in the 'Forest of Dean Local Plan Review' as a Key Wildlife Site (KWS).Wye Valley Woodlands/ Coetiroedd Dyffryn Gwy are recognised as a Special Area of Conservation (SAC) under the EU Habitats Directive.

Wyedean School and Sixth Form Centre is a secondary school with academy status in Sedbury, Gloucestershire, England, just across the border from Chepstow, Wales. Wyedean School was rated 'Good' by OfSTED in Jan 2018. The school is close to the A48 road and less than a mile from the Welsh border and as such, it accepts students from across the border. Wyedean School is a mixed comprehensive school, with 1,100 students, including 300 in the Sixth Form. It was first set up in 1973 and was then moved in 1976 to its present location. The school is located in Gloucestershire, and falls within the English, not Welsh, education system. Although the majority of its students live in the Forest of Dean area of England, a significant number travel from within Wales. It was also the school of J. K. Rowling, author of the Harry Potter series.

Fossil Beach, at Sedbury, Gloucestershire, England, is beneath the Sedbury Cliffs by the River Severn and is known as a rich source of easily discovered fossils. It is within the Severn Estuary Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).
