Coddle Creek Township is a non-functioning civil township in Iredell County, North Carolina, United States. By the requirements of the North Carolina Constitution of 1868, the counties were divided into townships, including sixteen in Iredell County. Part of the town of Mooresville is within Coddle Creek Township.

Coddle Creek Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, Session House and Cemetery is a historic Associate Reformed Presbyterian church located near Mooresville in Iredell County, North Carolina, United States. The first church building was constructed in 1753 and destroyed by fire in 1839. Its replacement was destroyed by fire in 1884 and the current structure was built. The church building is a one-story, three bay by five bay, Late Italianate style frame building. It features an entrance tower with louvered vents, four cross gables with wooden finials at peak, and bracketed eaves. Also on the property is the contributing session house, built about 1884, and the church cemetery with about 250 gravestones.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Woodlawn School is a private independent school in Mooresville, North Carolina in Iredell County, north of Davidson, North Carolina. Founded in 2002, it has 227 students in grades Pre-K through 12. The Head of School is Holly Honeycutt, who joined Woodlawn's staff in 2015. Woodlawn was accredited in 2009 by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the Southern Association of Independent Schools and was re-accredited in 2014.

Wood Lawn, also known as Woodlawn, is a plantation house built in 1836 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Located near Mount Mourne, Iredell County, North Carolina 1-mile (1.6 km) north of Davidson, North Carolina, the house was built about 1840 and is an example of the Federal-Greek Revival style of architecture often built in the Piedmont area during this period. The house was built by Dr. George Washington Stinson, one of the first trustees of Davidson College, which was founded in 1837.

Rev. John E. Pressley House is a historic home located near Bethpage, Cabarrus County, North Carolina. It was built between 1837 and 1851, and is a small two-story Federal and Greek Revival style log house. It served as the manse for the Coddle Creek and the New Perth Associate Reformed Presbyterian Churches between 1850 and 1900.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Mooresville Senior High School, or more commonly Mooresville High School, is a high school located in Mooresville, North Carolina. It is part of the Mooresville Graded School District and was opened in the 1930s. The sports teams are known as the Blue Devils. The George Houston House, also known as the "Wall-Houston House", is a private historic home between Mooresville and Davidson, North Carolina in Iredell County that was built in 1818. The original portion of the home was built with log construction, and several later additions, including a 19th-century ell. In its nomination, the home's original Federal-style construction was noted as being highly representative of the idiosyncrasies found in home designs in Iredell County and the North Carolina Piedmont during the Federal era. The property on which the home sits also contains several historic outbuildings, including an early log barn.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Mooresville Mill Village Historic District is a national historic district located at Mooresville, Iredell County, North Carolina. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.

Pine Lake Preparatory (PLP) is a public charter school located in Mooresville, North Carolina, educating students in grades K–12. PLP was founded in 2006 and started with Kindergarten, first, and second grades, and opened its doors to 1,300 students PLP's Upper School students (grades 9–12) choose a fine arts discipline (orchestra, band, visual art, theatre, or chorus) to study for their four years. In addition to the three schools, the campus includes a Fine Arts Building, Athletic and Community Center, and Science, Engineering, Technology and Math building, The school completed construction of a Grey and Navy blue turf football field in 2015. Students also must study Spanish every year, and the school offered an optional Spanish immersion program in Fall 2015.

Mount Mourne Plantation is a former Southern plantation and historic house located in Mount Mourne, Iredell County, North Carolina. It was built in 1836, and is a two-story, five-bay transitional Federal / Greek Revival style frame dwelling. It features a hipped roof entrance portico with four fluted Tuscan order columns.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.

South Broad Street Row is a national historic district located at Mooresville, Iredell County, North Carolina. It encompasses six contributing buildings in a predominantly residential section of Mooresville, with notable examples of Late Victorian style architecture. They are the former First Presbyterian Church Manse (1891), Dr. James Young House (c. 1890), Tom Hall House (c. 1895), John Pinkney Mills House, J. Frank Brawley House (c. 1914), and the Johnston Family House.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Red Bull Racing Team, also known as Team Red Bull, was a NASCAR team owned by Red Bull founders Dietrich Mateschitz and Chaleo Yoovidhya. The team was based in Mooresville, North Carolina in the United States and was managed by Jay Frye. The team suspended operations on December 8, 2011 and their cars were sold to BK Racing.
