Braulio Alonso High School is a public high school located in Tampa, Florida, United States. It serves grades 9-12 for the Hillsborough County Public Schools. Alonso High is named after Braulio Alonso. He served on the board of directors in the National Education Association from 1958 to 1964, and was elected as its president in 1967, the first Hispanic to hold that office.Alonso High School's mascot is the Raven. Alonso is an IB World School.

The Upper Tampa Bay Park is a Hillsborough County park located on the Double Branch Peninsula, approximately three miles southeast of Oldsmar, which is west of Tampa. The park has been only minimally developed because the environment is so fragile and sensitive.Within the park is the Upper Tampa Bay Archeological District, which was added to the US National Register of Historic Places on December 10, 1985. The area was once inhabited by Tocobaga Indians (from approximately 900 A.D. until the 1500s), and they left mounds of shellfish. The area is inhabited by redfish, snook, dolphins, manatees, and otters, and includes the Double Branch Creek. There are observation decks, picnic shelters, a playground, a nature center, and walking trails. Canoe and kayak rentals are offered.

The Upper Tampa Bay Trail is a 7.25-mile long (11.67 km) paved multi-use, non-motorized, rail trail located in northwest Hillsborough County, Florida.The trail currently starts from just off Memorial Highway and heads north along the Channel A canal. It crosses underneath both a Linebaugh Avenue bridge and CSX Clearwater Subdivision railroad tracks then wraps around the old Northwest Transfer Station landfill. It then follows an abandoned railroad corridor north along the Veterans Expressway. The Upper Tampa Bay Trail also has a 4.3 mile section that runs from Van Dyke Road to Lutz Lake Fern Road connecting it to the Suncoast Trail.

Gauzza Public Library, formerly known as the Upper Tampa Bay Regional Public Library, is part of the Tampa-Hillsborough County Public Library System (THPL), as well as a member of the Hillsborough County Public Library Cooperative (HCPLC). In addition to books, newspapers and magazines, the library provides DVDs, music, and internet access, as well as a variety of programs and activities and meeting rooms.

Incarnation School is a Catholic school in Sarasota, Florida. It was founded in 1961,and moved into the current building in 1962. In 1964 four Sisters of St. Francis from the Chicago Province arrived at the school and lay teachers were added to the staff as needed. In 1989 two Sisters of Notre Dame became part-time faculty with two Sisters of Mercy joining the staff in 2001. Today the school has all lay teachers. ActivBoards were installed in every classroom in 2007 and a security system with 16 cameras was installed to monitor the campus 24/7. In 2008, Incarnation Catholic School was recognized as a Blue Ribbon School by the United States Department of Education.

Mobbly Bayou Preserve is a 396-acre (160 ha) county preserve located at the north end of upper Tampa Bay in the city of Oldsmar in Pinellas County in the U.S. state of Florida. The preserve encompasses a wide diversity of upland and coastal plant communities. The preserve is managed through an interlocal agreement with the city of Oldsmar, which is responsible for managing two recreational areas. Upland, intertidal, and subtidal communities in the bayou have suffered significant environmental distress due to dense urbanization. Approximately 200 acres (80 ha) are targeted for restoration and enhancement of coastal communities using the Southwest Florida Water Management District, Pinellas County, and City of Oldsmar Parks and Recreation Department. Two major goals are to restore the bayou's tidal creek system's hydrology and enhance the degraded vegetation communities by removing exotic species and planting native species.

Tampa Bay Downs is an American Thoroughbred horse racing facility located in Westchase in Hillsborough County in the U.S. state of Florida, just outside Tampa. It opened in 1926 under the name Tampa Downs, and has also been known as Sunshine Park and Florida Downs and Turf Club.

Berkeley Preparatory School is a Pre-K to Grade 12 independent, college-preparatory day school affiliated with the Episcopal Church located in Tampa, Florida, in the United States. On this 86-acre campus some of the notable features include: a 75,000 square foot building for Arts and Sciences, athletic facilities composing of 53,000 square feet, 11,000 square foot Cafe, and 19,000 square foot student center. The library makes available to the students 20,000 titles and over 40 databases. It has either approval or accreditation from the College Board, the Florida Council of Independent Schools, the Florida Department of Education, the National Association of Episcopal Schools and the Southern Association of Independent Schools.
