Bushey Mead is a small district of the London Borough of Merton, forming a small 'ladder' of terraced streets between Wimbledon Chase railway station and Raynes Park railway station. The housing was built in several steps during the period circa 1890 - 1913.

Tuvalu House is the honorary consulate of the Government of Tuvalu in the Wimbledon area of London, England.Since independence in 1978, Tuvalu has been a Commonwealth realm, with the Governor-General of Tuvalu representing His Majesty the King in Tuvalu. Based from Tuvalu House, Sir Iftikhar A. Ayaz has represented the Government of Tuvalu in London in recent years at a consular level. Since the Government of Tuvalu does not have a large, organized consular or diplomatic service, it has generally preferred to engage in ad hoc trade or political missions, where the need arises. Other than Tuvalu's High Commission in Fiji, and other contacts in the Pacific region, Tuvalu House is thus somewhat of an exception as an overseas office representing Tuvalu. While Tuvalu's commercial relations with the United Kingdom are limited, reflecting both the smallness of the country's economy and the geographical distance of Tuvalu from the UK, an updated information link is maintained with the British Chambers of Commerce (see link, below), and Tuvalu House advises further on commercial relations. Tuvalu House is the closest thing to a High Commission that Tuvalu has in the United Kingdom.

The Ursuline High School, Wimbledon (“the Ursuline”) is a voluntary-aided, Roman Catholic Secondary School for girls aged 11 to 19. The school is based at Crescent Road and the Downs, Wimbledon, London. It was founded in 1892 by the Ursulines. It is affiliated with The Ursuline Preparatory School, its previous feeder preparatory school, as well as Wimbledon College, the high school's brother school, who have worked in partnership since 1986 and share joint Sixth Form. The school specialises in Business & Enterprise and Modern Foreign Languages and it was previously designated a Gifted & Talented Lead School.[1]

Harris Academy Wimbledon is coeducational secondary school located in the Wimbledon in Greater London, England. It is part of the Harris Federation multi-academy trust. It opened to pupils in September 2018 in temporary accommodation. It had a pre-opening Ofsted inspection.

Donhead is an all-male private, preparatory day school located in Wimbledon, in the London Borough of Merton. The school is under the governance of the Jesuits, a Catholic religious order founded by Ignatius of Loyola in 1540. Donhead takes boys aged 4 to 11, after which they often continue their secondary education at various independent schools across London and Catholic public schools such as the Oratory School and Stonyhurst College.

Wimbledon is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament. Since 2005, the seat has been represented by Stephen Hammond of the Conservatives.

Sacred Heart Church is a Roman Catholic church and parish in Wimbledon, South West London initially run by the Jesuits, that serves the Catholic community of Wimbledon and surrounding areas. It is in the Archdiocese of Southwark and is situated next to Wimbledon College and Donhead Preparatory School. The main entrance to the church is on Edge Hill road, but the church can also be accessed from the adjacent Darlaston Road.

Wimbledon Chase railway station is in the London Borough of Merton in South London. The station is served by Thameslink trains on the Sutton Loop Line. It is in Travelcard Zone 3 and is arranged as an island eight-car platform, with stairs descending to street level towards the southern end.

Raynes Park railway station serves the district of Raynes Park in the London Borough of Merton. It is 8 miles 51 chains (13.9 km) south-west of London Waterloo and is situated between Wimbledon and New Malden on the South West Main Line. The next station along on the Mole Valley branch line is Motspur Park. The station is served and operated by South Western Railway, and is in Travelcard Zone 4. It has 4 platforms and 2 of them are accessible with ramps from the station entrance (those being the platforms to London Waterloo)

Wimbledon College is a government-maintained, voluntary-aided, Jesuit Roman Catholic secondary school and sixth form for boys aged 11 to 19 in Wimbledon, London. The college was founded in 1892 "for improvement in living and learning for the greater glory of God and the common good." It is affiliated with the Sacred Heart Church and Donhead Preparatory School, its former feeder preparatory school. It is also affiliated with the Ursuline High School, the college's sister school, who have worked in partnership since 1986.

Raynes Park Vale Football Club is a semi-professional football club based in Raynes Park in the London Borough of Merton, England. The club is affiliated to the Surrey County Football Association and is a FA Charter Standard Club. They play in the Combined Counties League Premier Division South and play their home games at Prince George's Playing Fields, Grand Drive.

Tooting & Mitcham Wanderers Football Club was a football club based in London, England. They played at Raynes Park Vale's Malden Vale Sports Ground.
