Fraser Field is a baseball park in Lynn, Massachusetts that has played host to many minor-league baseball teams over the years. The North Shore Navigators of the New England Collegiate Baseball League play at Fraser Field. In the spring, Fraser Field hosts the Falcons of Fisher College.

The Lydia Pinkham House was the Lynn, Massachusetts, home of Lydia Pinkham, a leading manufacturer and marketer of patent medicines in the late 19th century. It is in this house that she developed Lydia Pinkham's Vegetable Compound, an application claimed to provide relief for "female complaints". Its address, 285 Western Avenue, was widely known, for women all over the country would write to her for advice and comment, and the company cultivated the idea that Pinkham created the compound in her home. Pinkham herself would answer such letters, and the practice was continued by the company in her name for some time after her death in 1883.

The Lynn Public Library building is a historic library at Five North Common Street in Lynn, Massachusetts. Although library services were offered in Lynn as early 1815, it was not until a bequest in 1896 that the city began planning a permanent home for the growing collection. After some controversy, library trustees chose a Renaissance Revival design by local architect George A. Moore, who happened to be related to one of the library trustees. Controversy also attended the size and scale of the building, along with the removal of trees at its site on the town common. It was completed at a cost of $175,000, which included no public funding.Construction of the library began in 1898 and it was opened in 1900. In 1900 the library commissioned the first mural of F. Luis Mora, a prominent Hispanic American artist. The library was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, and included in the Lynn Common Historic District in 1992.

Pine Grove Cemetery is a cemetery whose main entrance is on Boston Street in Lynn, Massachusetts. It was established in the mid-19th century and it consists of 82 developed acres. There are approximately 88,000 to 90,000 interments at the cemetery.

The Lynn Common Historic District encompasses the town common of Lynn, Massachusetts and the surrounding buildings which face it. Although its establishment dates to the late 17th century, the area's time of development is predominantly in the 19th century, when the common was transformed into a park. The common is an elongated grassy area, flanked by North and South Common Streets, with a number of small cross streets breaking it into several pieces. City Hall Square marks its eastern boundary, and Market Square its western.Many of the buildings facing the common are residential and relatively unaltered since their construction in the 19th century. Stylistically they are in a variety of forms from Federalist to Colonial Revival, with Queen Anne houses outnumbering other styles. There are four Colonial Revival apartment houses (built between 1900 and 1920) along North Common Street.A number of Lynn's significant civic and religious buildings lie within the district. The main library building is separately listed on the National Register, as are the armory, and St. Stephen's Memorial Episcopal Church. The Lynn Memorial City Hall and Auditorium building lies just off the common to the east. The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

Lynn is the eighth-largest municipality in Massachusetts, United States, and the largest city in Essex County. Situated on the Atlantic Ocean, 3.7 miles (6.0 km) north of the Boston city line at Suffolk Downs, Lynn is part of Greater Boston's urban inner core.Settled by Europeans in 1629, Lynn is the 5th oldest colonial settlement in the Commonwealth. An early industrial center, Lynn was long colloquially referred to as the "City of Sin", owing to its historical reputation for crime and vice. Today, however, the city is known for its contemporary public art, immigrant population, historic architecture, downtown cultural district, loft-style apartments, and public parks and open spaces, which include the oceanfront Lynn Shore Reservation; the 2,200-acre, Frederick Law Olmsted-designed Lynn Woods Reservation; and the High Rock Reservation and Park designed by Olmsted's sons. Lynn also is home to Lynn Heritage State Park, the southernmost portion of the Essex Coastal Scenic Byway, and the seaside, National Register-listed Diamond Historic District. The population was 101,253 at the 2020 United States census.

The Lynn Armory is a historic armory building at 36 South Common Street in Lynn, Massachusetts. It is one of the best examples of Romanesque Revival architecture in the city. It was built in 1893 out of red sandstone to a design by Wheeler & Northend. It features a head house measuring 68 feet (21 m) wide and 86 feet (26 m) deep, behind which is a drill shed that is 127 feet (39 m) long. The principal features of the facade are designed to evoke a fortified castle: circular towers 22 feet (6.7 m) flank the entrance, and the towers and the front facade are topped by a crenellated parapet.The armory was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, and included in the Lynn Common Historic District in 1992. A total of five Holman K. Wheeler structures in Lynn are listed on the National Register. In August 2018, Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker signed into law a bill approving the sale of the armory to a non-profit organization that plans to renovate the facility into apartments for military veterans.

St. Stephen's Memorial Episcopal Church is parish of the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts in Lynn, Massachusetts founded in 1844. It is noted for its historic church at 74 South Common Street. Completed in 1881, the church is of a Romanesque Revival design by Ware & Van Brunt. It was built as a memorial to the children of Enoch Reddington Mudge of Swampscott, member of a leading Lynn family. It was built of granite quarried from Mudge's Swampscott estate, and trimmed with red brick and stone. The interior is richly decorated, with parquet and mosaic floors, carved timber ends, and a number of stained glass windows.The church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as St. Stephen's Memorial Church on September 7, 1979, and included in the Lynn Common Historic District in 1992.

The Lynn Memorial City Hall and Auditorium is a large Art Deco building that defines the civic heart of Lynn, Massachusetts. The building serves three functions: first, it houses the city's principal offices, including the mayor's office, as well as the chambers of the city council. Second, it memorializes the city's fallen in the nation's military conflicts. Third, it houses a large public performance space, with a seating capacity over 2,000. It is located at Three City Hall Square.The building was constructed in 1948-49 by the M.A. Dyer Company and John Bowen Company. Lynn's mayor Albert Cole was the driving force behind the design and construction of the building, which was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

The High Rock Reservation (or High Rock Park) is a city park in the Highlands neighborhood of Lynn, Massachusetts. Designed in 1907 by the Olmsted Brothers, the roughly 7-acre (2.8 ha) park encompasses the summit area of a hill with commanding views of the surrounding area, as well as the Atlantic Ocean which is approximately half a mile away. The park's principal attraction is the High Rock Tower, a stone structure measuring 85 feet high, completed in 1905 and dedicated on December 16. It replaces an earlier wood tower designed by Alonzo Lewis for Jesse Hutchinson of the Hutchinson Family Singers, a politically active abolitionist singing group that performed throughout the northern United States from the 1840s to about 1880. Jesse Hutchinson acquired the property from the Pawtucket natives, and by 1851 had built two Gothic Revival cottages (known as High Rock Cottage and Daisy Cottage) and later other cottages, as well as the first tower which burnt down during a celebration of the Civil War's end.The original wooden High Rock Tower was the site of a celebration by an estimated 8,000 people on August 17, 1858 for the laying of the first Transatlantic telegraph cable completed one day previous. The Hutchinsons held nightly rallies and concerts there during the first year of the Civil War.The park was listed on the National Register of Historic Places (as "High Rock Tower–High Rock Cottage and Daisy Cottage") in 1979. The lands surrounding the tower were protected by The Trust for Public Land and conveyed to the City of Lynn in 1988.High Rock Tower is featured prominently on the Lynn city seal. It is one of five structures in Lynn designed by Holman K. Wheeler which are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. In 1998, a grant from the Massachusetts Historical Commission allowed for restoration of the Tower. A new observatory was added, replacing the prior observatory which was removed after being vandalized. Later additional park renovation projects between 2012 and 2016 have included new stone-chip pathways, expansion of the reservation base at Essex Street with traffic mitigation, and new granite stairways leading from Essex Street to the base of the Tower. Finally, in 2017 the stone High Rock Cottage received stabilization work including a new roof.The City of Lynn has periodically opened the tower and observatory to the public for free use of the telescope. This practice continues in summer 2018, with scheduled evenings in July and August.In 2017, the community organization Centerboard raised $45,000 for the installation of LED lighting and a laser projector for two of the four sides of High Rock Tower. Additional grant funding was obtained in 2018, for LED and laser illumination of the remaining two sides of the tower.

St. Mary's High School is a private, Roman Catholic high school in Lynn, Massachusetts. It is located in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston.

The Lynn Masonic Hall is a historic Masonic building located at 64-68 Market Street in Lynn, Massachusetts. The four story brick building was built in 1880 for the Lynn branch of YMCA. It is one of two surviving Victorian Gothic buildings in downtown Lynn. YMCA occupied the building until 1907, when it moved to other quarters (no longer extant) across the street. The building was sold to the local Masonic lodge.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
