Loxahatchee is an unincorporated community in Palm Beach County, Florida, United States, located north of Wellington, and west and northwest of Royal Palm Beach, approximately 17 miles (27 km) west of West Palm Beach. Loxahatchee is also the name of the Post Office that serves this area, which is under the zip code of 33470. The community took its name from the Loxahatchee River. Loxahatchee is located within the Indian Trails Improvement District and the Loxahatchee Groves Water Control District. Lion Country Safari, a drive-through safari park, is located in Loxahatchee. The state of Florida approved the incorporation of part of Loxahatchee, as the Town of Loxahatchee Groves, in 2006, which became the 38th municipality in Palm Beach County. The main reason for incorporating was to protect the area from encroaching growth, and to preserve the rural character of the neighborhood. Loxahatchee is perhaps the most rural area within proximity to West Palm Beach, with lot sizes ranging from 1-20 acres. Loxahatchee and the adjacent The Acreage are notable for loose land restrictions and the presence of native and exotic animals. The Seminole Ridge Community High School serves the area.

Royal Palm Beach Pines Natural Area is a 773-acre area of protected land in Royal Palm Beach, Florida that includes pine flatwoods and wet prairie. There are hiking and equestrian trails, a nature trail, and boardwalk. The park is located at 110 Nature's Way or the northern entrance on 40th Street and Avocado Boulevard.

The Riddle House is an old Edwardian house located in Palm Beach County, Florida. The house was built in West Palm Beach, Florida in 1905 by some of Henry Flagler's hotel construction workers. Originally known as "Gatekeeper's Cottage", the house was home to the groundskeeper of Woodlawn Cemetery. By 1920, the house became privately owned by Karl Riddle, a city manager and superintendent of West Palm Beach. He is the namesake of the house. The house was eventually dismantled and moved to Yesteryear Village in 1995, a historical park within the South Florida Fairgrounds. The building was featured in an episode of Ghost Adventures in 2008.

Royal Palm Beach is a village in southeast Florida, located within Palm Beach County. The population was measured at 34,140 in the 2010 census. It is part of the Miami Metropolitan Area. Despite its name, the village is located approximately fifteen miles inland from the Atlantic Ocean. Lion Country Safari is a drive-through safari park and walk-through amusement park located on over 600 acres in Loxahatchee (near West Palm Beach), in Palm Beach County, Florida. Founded in 1967, it claims to be the first 'cageless zoo' in the United States. In 2009, USA Travel Guide ranked Lion Country as the 3rd best zoo in the nation.

Loxahatchee Groves is a town in Palm Beach County, Florida, United States. As of the 2010 census, the town had a population of 3,180. Loxahatchee Groves was incorporated November 1, 2006, as the 38th municipality in Palm Beach County. The first election for town council members was held on March 13, 2007. The area had been settled since 1917, although Loxahatchee Groves did not become a municipality until 2006. The town bills itself as "Florida's Last Frontier". Loxahatchee Groves was incorporated primarily in order to protect the area from the encroaching urbanization of South Florida, as nearby cities continued to develop and to preserve the area's rural character. The town derives its name from the Loxahatchee River. "Loxahatchee" is from the Seminole words lowchow (turtle) and hatchee (river), thus translating to "river of turtles". Loxahatchee Groves is bounded on the east by Royal Palm Beach, on the south by Wellington, and on the west and the north by The Acreage and Loxahatchee. It has an area of approximately 12.5 square miles (32.4 km2).

Berean Christian School is a private school in West Palm Beach, Florida. Berean Christian School is a ministry of Grace Fellowship, a local independent church. It was established in 1964. Berean Christian School also offers numerous sports such as volleyball, swimming, cross-country, track, soccer, girls basketball, boys basketball, cheerleading, and most of all football. Their home mascot is the Bulldog. Berean Christian School exists in partnership with parents and the local church to submerse students into a Biblically-based Christian world view. The grades range from preschool to 12th.

The King's Academy is a private, Christian, coeducational, pre-kindergarten through grade twelve, college-preparatory school located in West Palm Beach, Florida. Established in 1970, it is run by an independent board of governors.

The South Florida Fair is an annual fair held in West Palm Beach, Florida every January. The fairgrounds site occupies 100 acres (0.40 km2; 0.16 sq mi) and is located on the site of the former Palm Beach Speedway at the intersection of Southern Boulevard (US 98/SR 80) and Fairground Road, adjacent to the iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre. In 2012, the fair celebrated its 100th anniversary since its founding in 1912. Nearly 500,000 people attend the South Florida Fair each year. The fair features a midway of rides, games, and concessions, themed exhibition halls, an agricultural and livestock agriplex, and smaller exhibition areas. There is also Yesteryear Village, a history park on the northeastern corner of the property. The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, West Palm Beach Police and security guards are the fair's patrollers.
