De Loonse en Drunense Duinen National Park (duinen = dunes) is a national park situated in the south of the Netherlands, between the cities of Tilburg, Waalwijk and 's-Hertogenbosch. It has been designated as a national park since 2002. It is 35 km² (14 mile²) in area, and located in the municipalities of Loon op Zand, Heusden, and Vught. The Loonse en Drunense Duinen consists of forests and very large dunes, creating an extraordinary microclimate.

Duinrand is a defunct restaurant in Drunen, in the Netherlands. It was a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star in 1985 and retained that rating until 1995.First owner and head chef was Menno Huybrechts. In 1992, he sold the restaurant to Wulf Engel.The restaurant closed down in 2002, due to bankruptcy.

Heusden (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈɦøːzdə(n)] ) is a municipality and a town in the South of the Netherlands. It is located between the towns of Waalwijk and 's-Hertogenbosch. The municipality of Heusden, including Herpt, Heesbeen, Hedikhuizen, Doeveren, and Oudheusden, merged with Drunen and Vlijmen in 1997, giving the municipality its current form. The middle part of national park the Loonse en Drunense Duinen is located in the municipality of Heusden.

Udenhout is a village and a former municipality in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located northeast of Tilburg, north of Berkel-Enschot and south of the National Parc Loonse en Drunense Duinen. The municipality of Udenhout (including the village of Biezenmortel) was independent until 1997, when it became part of the municipality of Tilburg. Biezenmortel became part of the municipality of Haaren. Udenhout preferred to join the municipality of Loon op Zand, but was nevertheless assigned to Tilburg. The municipality consisted at the time of abolition in 1996 9,028 inhabitants and was 26.87 km2. During Carnaval Udenhout is called: "d'n Haozepot".

Loon op Zand Castle, is a castle in Loon op Zand, in the Dutch province of North Brabant. The current building looks like a manor, but is actually the keep of a medieval castle.

The Mandemakers Stadion (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈmɑndəmaːkərs ˌstaːdijɔn]) is a multi-use stadium in Waalwijk, Netherlands. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium is able to hold 7,500 people and was built in 1996. The Mandemakers Stadion replaced the Sportpark Olympia stadium that was able to hold 6,200 people and opened in 1940. Sportpark Olympia is the name of the multi-use sports park in which the Mandemakers Stadion is located. Derde Klasse-side VV Baardwijk is one of many clubs in the sports park.

Berkel-Enschot is a planned railway station between 's-Hertogenbosch and Tilburg. A station operated here on the Tilburg–Nijmegen railway between 1881 and 1938. There were plans to reopen a station to relieve stress on other lines, but the motion was rejected in 2010. On 28 November 2014 it was announced that the station would certainly not be built before 2028.

Drunen is a town in the municipality of Heusden in the southern Netherlands. The town is part of a region called the Langstraat ('long road') which is historically known for its leather and shoe industry. Since 1813, Drunen had been a separate municipality, consisting of the towns Drunen, Elshout, and Giersbergen. As of 2017 Drunen's population reached 18,216.

Biezenmortel is a village in the municipality Tilburg in the Dutch province North Brabant. The village had 1,465 inhabitants and 470 households in January 2020. Biezenmortel has a primary school called Franciscus and a community center called De Vorselaer. Centrally located in the village, there is a former Capuchin monastery called Beukenhof, that now serves as a group accommodation. The Sint Josephkerk, which was located inside the monastery, closed down in 2019.Just over 500 metres (1,600 ft) to the southeast of Biezenmortel lies Huize Assisië, a historic psychiatric complex founded in 1904. It consists of some 40 buildings including a chapel and houses around 200 intellectually disabled people.Before 2021, Biezenmortel was part of the former municipality Haaren.

Baardwijk is a former village and municipality in the Dutch province of North Brabant, between Waalwijk and Drunen.Until 1922, Baardwijk was a separate municipality; it is now a part of Waalwijk.

Heikant is a small village in the municipality of Tilburg, in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located about 2 km northeast of the centre of Berkel-Enschot.

Kaatsheuvel (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈkaːtsˌɦøːvəl]) is a town in the province of North Brabant, Netherlands situated along highways N261 and N628. With a population of roughly 16,600, it is the largest town in and the capital of the municipality of Loon op Zand, which also consists of the villages of De Moer and Loon op Zand. As Kaatsheuvel is a municipality capital, it has a town hall, located in the town centre. The town hall was torn down in 2010 as part of an ambitious plan to build a lively new town centre. A new town centre has been built, with the title Bruisend Dorpshart (Sparkling Village's Heart). Kaatsheuvel is internationally known for the Efteling theme park and as a gateway to National Park Loonse en Drunense Duinen.
