Berkel-Enschot is a planned railway station between 's-Hertogenbosch and Tilburg. A station operated here on the Tilburg–Nijmegen railway between 1881 and 1938. There were plans to reopen a station to relieve stress on other lines, but the motion was rejected in 2010. On 28 November 2014 it was announced that the station would certainly not be built before 2028.

Heikant is a small village in the municipality of Tilburg, in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located about 2 km northeast of the centre of Berkel-Enschot.

Heukelom is a village in the Dutch province of North Brabant, next to Oisterwijk and Berkel-Enschot. Heukelom was home to 249 people in 1840. Heukelom used to be part of the municipality of Berkel-Enschot. In 1996, it became part of the municipality of Oisterwijk.

The metropolitan region also includes other large towns such as Boxtel, Etten-Leur, Oosterhout, Uden, Veghel, Veldhoven and Waalwijk. The Brabantse Stedenrij is home to many large companies. In science, technology & engineering one finds Philips, DAF, VDL, Ciber, Atos, NXP, FEI, GE HealthCare and Thales in Eindhoven, ASML and Navteq in Veldhoven, Vanderlande and Alliance Boots in Veghel, Merck & Co., Aspen and B. Braun Medical in Oss, Fujifilm and Tesla Motors in Tilburg, Bosch Rexroth in Boxtel, and Acer Inc. in 's-Hertogenbosch. Also, the area has a rich agriculture and food industry, e.g. Mars Inc., Agrifirm, Royal Canin and FrieslandCampina's DMV in Veghel, Bavaria in Lieshout, Heineken in 's-Hertogenbosch, Coca-Cola in Dongen, Vion in Boxtel, Perfetti Van Melle in Breda and Unilever's Unox in Oss.

Biezenmortel is a village in the municipality Tilburg in the Dutch province North Brabant. The village had 1,465 inhabitants and 470 households in January 2020. Biezenmortel has a primary school called Franciscus and a community center called De Vorselaer. Centrally located in the village, there is a former Capuchin monastery called Beukenhof, that now serves as a group accommodation. The Sint Josephkerk, which was located inside the monastery, closed down in 2019.Just over 500 metres (1,600 ft) to the southeast of Biezenmortel lies Huize Assisië, a historic psychiatric complex founded in 1904. It consists of some 40 buildings including a chapel and houses around 200 intellectually disabled people.Before 2021, Biezenmortel was part of the former municipality Haaren.

Van Gogh National Park (Dutch: Van Gogh Nationaal Park) is a proposed Dutch national park, presented on 30 March 2021.The park would consist of several natural areas in the province of North Brabant, including De Loonse en Drunense Duinen National Park and Het Groene Woud. In addition to nature, the park is intended to promote cultural heritage, sustainability, as well as the local economy. The project is named after painter Vincent van Gogh (1853–1890), a native of North Brabant who worked and lived in a number of locations within the area it would cover.

De Loonse en Drunense Duinen National Park (duinen = dunes) is a national park situated in the south of the Netherlands, between the cities of Tilburg, Waalwijk and 's-Hertogenbosch. It has been designated as a national park since 2002. It is 35 km² (14 mile²) in area, and located in the municipalities of Loon op Zand, Heusden, and Vught. The Loonse en Drunense Duinen consists of forests and very large dunes, creating an extraordinary microclimate.

Oisterwijk is a railway station located in the centre of Oisterwijk, Netherlands. The station was opened on 1 May 1865 and is located on the Breda–Eindhoven railway between Tilburg and Eindhoven. The train services are operated by Nederlandse Spoorwegen.

Duinrand is a defunct restaurant in Drunen, in the Netherlands. It was a fine dining restaurant that was awarded one Michelin star in 1985 and retained that rating until 1995.First owner and head chef was Menno Huybrechts. In 1992, he sold the restaurant to Wulf Engel.The restaurant closed down in 2002, due to bankruptcy.

Heikant is a former hamlet in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It was located about 2 km northwest of Helvoirt (now municipality of Vught). The hamlet is mentioned by the 19th-century historian A.J. van der Aa, and shown on a map of the area. It is no longer considered to be a separate hamlet, although the houses and a street named "De Heikant" still exist. Heikant should not be confused with any of the other hamlets named Heikant in the Netherlands.

De Swaen is a defunct restaurant in Oisterwijk, Netherlands. The fine dining restaurant was awarded one or two Michelin stars each year in the period 1981–1998. In the period 1984-1991 it was awarded 2 Michelin stars. The restaurant was awarded one star in the periods 1981-1983 and 2002–2003.
