Gattatico (Reggiano: Gatâtich, Gâtadegh or Gadàdegh) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Reggio Emilia in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) northwest of Bologna and about 15 kilometres (9 mi) northwest of Reggio Emilia. Gattatico borders the following municipalities: Brescello, Campegine, Castelnovo di Sotto, Parma, Poviglio, Sant'Ilario d'Enza, Sorbolo.

The Natural Reserve Parma Morta is located in Emilia-Romagna in the commune of Mezzani (Province of Parma), and was established in 1990.

Brescello (Italian: [breʃˈʃɛllo]; Barsèl [bɐrˈsɛl] in the local dialect, Bersèl in the Reggio Emilia dialect) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Reggio Emilia in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) northwest of Bologna and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) northwest of Reggio Emilia. As of 31 December 2016, it had a population of 5,621.

The Enza (Italian pronunciation: [ˈɛnt͡sa]; Emilian: Èinsa) is a river in northern Italy, a right tributary of the river Po. Its source is at the Alpe di Succiso, in the northern Apennines (Tuscan-Emilian Apennines), at 1,406 metres (4,613 ft). The Enza is the current boundary of the provinces of Parma and Reggio Emilia. After the source, at 1,157 metres (3,796 ft) above sea level, it forms the Paduli or Lagastrello artificial lake, and flows for 93 kilometres (58 mi) in the aforementioned provinces. In its course in the Pianura Padana it becomes wider and flows into the Po near Brescello. In ancient times it was known by its Latin name Incia.

Campegine (Reggiano: Campéṣen) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Reggio Emilia in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 70 kilometres (43 mi) northwest of Bologna and about 12 kilometres (7 mi) northwest of Reggio Emilia. Campegine borders the following municipalities: Cadelbosco di Sopra, Castelnovo di Sotto, Gattatico, Reggio Emilia, Sant'Ilario d'Enza. The Cervi Brothers were born in Campegine.

The Certosa di Parma (Certosa di San Girolamo) is a former Carthusian Monastery located in the outskirts of Parma. The first Carthusian monastery at the site was constructed from 1285 to 1304, by the initiative of the archbishop of Spoleto, Rolando Taverna. Little, if any, remains of that structure, the minor cloister dates from the 15th century. At the site between 1673 and 1722, a new Baroque monastery, cloister and church were built based on designs by Francesco Pescaroli. In 1769, the monastery was suppressed and the site became used for manufacture of cigars, and became the "Fabbrica Ducale dei Tabacchi di Parma". In 1900, it became a reformatory for juvenile offenders. In 1975, it acquired its present function as a school for prison police (Scuola di Formazione e Aggiornamento della Polizia Penitenziaria). The church, dedicated to St. Jerome, has works and frescoes by Francesco Pescaroli, Alessandro Baratta, Gian Battista Natali, and Ilario Spolverini. The monastery was suppressed at the time when Stendhal's novel The Charterhouse of Parma was written.

Poviglio (Mantovano: Puii; Reggiano: Puvî) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Reggio Emilia in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 70 kilometres (43 mi) northwest of Bologna and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) northwest of Reggio Emilia. Poviglio borders the following municipalities: Boretto, Brescello, Castelnovo di Sotto, Gattatico.

Stadio Luigi Zaffanella is a multi-use stadium in Viadana, Italy. It is currently used mostly for rugby union and football matches. It was the home ground of the now defunct Aironi for their Celtic League games.The ground is owned by Rugby Viadana and previously hosted the club's National Championship of Excellence team prior to the 2010/2011 season. In order for the ground to be of a suitable standard for the Celtic League major improvement works are to be carried out in 2011.The east grandstand was doubled in size in 2010 taking the total ground capacity to 6,000. Hospitality, training and parking facilities were also added. The stadium holds 6,000 people.

The Ducal Palace, also known as Reggia di Colorno, is an edifice in the territory of Colorno (province of Parma), Emilia Romagna, Italy. The palace we see today was refurbished by Francesco Farnese, Duke of Parma in the early 18th century on the remains of a former castle.
