Somdech Phra Pinklao Hospital (Thai: โรงพยาบาลสมเด็จพระปิ่นเกล้า) is a hospital located in Thon Buri District, Bangkok, Thailand. It is a military hospital operated by the Naval Medical Department (NMD), The Royal Thai Navy particularly for personnel of the Royal Thai Navy, but also for the general public. It is also the location of the headquarters of the NMD. It has a CPIRD Medical Education Center which trains medical students for the Faculty of Medicine, Burapha University. It is an affiliated teaching hospital of Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University. It is also a residency training center for several specialty, for instance, Surgery, Emergency medicine and Maritime medicine.

The First Presbyterian Church, Samray is the oldest Protestant church in the Thai capital Bangkok. Originally founded in 1849, the church was built in its current location on the western bank of the Chao Phraya River in 1857. The present building dates to 1910.

Mahai Sawan Road (Thai: ถนนมไหสวรรย์, RTGS: Thanon Mahai Sawan, pronounced [tʰā.nǒn mā.hǎj.sā.wǎn]) is a short road and intersection in Bangkok. It runs from Mahai Sawan intersection in Thon Buri District through Bukkhalo intersection and Krungthep Bridge across Chao Phraya River to Phra Nakhon side (east bank of the river) and ends at Thanon Tok, connecting Charoen Krung Road and Rama III Road in Bang Kho Laem District. It was named after the first governor of Thonburi province (now Thonburi), Mahai Sawan (พระยามไหสวรรย์) or Ko Sombatsiri (กอ สมบัติศิริ).Mahai Sawan intersection is four-way connecting Somdet Phra Chao Tak Sin, Ratchadaphisek and Mahai Sawan roads beneath Rama III Bridge. Its original appearance was only three-way but, later on, Ratchadaphisek Road was expanded to become a four-lane like today. This intersection is considered one of the most traffic-congested routes of Bangkok. On September 30, 2016, a tunnel underpass was opened, fifteen years after the project was initially planned. The tunnel is 1,515 m (0.9 mi) long, the longest underpass in Bangkok, with four lanes. The total cost of the tunnel was about 969 million baht since the work begun in 2011.

The Rama III Bridge (Thai: สะพานพระราม 3, RTGS: Saphan Phra Ram Sam, pronounced [sā.pʰāːn pʰráʔ rāːm sǎːm]), also known as the New Krungthep Bridge, is a bridge crossing the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok, Thailand. The bridge was completed in 1999 and was designed to alleviate traffic congestion on the adjacent Krungthep Bridge. The bridge was named in honour of King Nangklao.

The Krungthep Bridge (Thai: สะพานกรุงเทพ, RTGS: Saphan Krung Thep, pronounced [sā.pʰāːn krūŋ tʰêːp]) is a bascule bridge (drawbridge) spanning the Chao Phraya river in Bangkok, Thailand. It was the third bridge to be built across the Chao Phraya river. It was constructed by Fuji Car Manufacturing Co., Ltd, with a budget of 31,912,500 baht. Heavy congestion on the bridge led to the construction of the nearby Rama III Bridge.

Pho Nimit BTS station (Thai: สถานีโพธิ์นิมิตร, RTGS: Sathani Pho Nimit, pronounced [sā.tʰǎː.nīː pʰōː ní(ʔ).mít]) is a BTS skytrain station, on the Silom Line in Khwaeng Bukkhalo, Thon Buri District, Bangkok, Thailand. The station is located on Ratchaphruek Road. It is surrounded by residences, small shops and office towers. The station opened on 12 January 2013.

Dao Khanong (Thai: ดาวคะนอง, also spelled: ดาวคนอง; pronounced [dāːw kʰā.nɔ̄ːŋ]) is a khwaeng (sub-district) of Thon Buri district, Bangkok's Thonburi side. It is also the name of the surrounding area.

Bukkhalo (Thai: บุคคโล, pronounced [bùk.kʰā.lōː]) is a khwaeng (sub-district) of Thon Buri District, Bangkok. Its name is also the name of surrounding area.

Wongwian Yai station (Thai: สถานีวงเวียนใหญ่, RTGS: Sathani Wongwian Yai, pronounced [sā.tʰǎː.nīː wōŋ.wīa̯n jàj]) is a BTS skytrain station, on the Silom line in Khlong San District, Bangkok, Thailand. The station is on Krung Thon Buri Road to the west of Taksin intersection. The station opened on 15 May 2009, together with Krung Thonburi station on the 2.2 kilometer Skytrain extension reaching Thonburi on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River.

Thanon Tok (Thai: ถนนตก, pronounced [tʰā.nǒn tòk]) is a road junction in the Bang Kho Laem Subdistrict, Bang Kho Laem District, Bangkok. It is a crossroad of Charoen Krung, Rama III and Mahaisawan Roads, with considered as the last intersection of Charoen Krung. The name "Thanon Tok" means "road to fall", because it's the end of Charoen Krung Road straight to south and ends at the Chao Phraya River. Hence colloquially referred to as "Thanon Tok" according its characteristics. Originally, it was a main port of Bangkok named "Thanon Tok Pier" before the establishment of Bangkok Port, also was a location of Bangkok Dock Company. Subsequently, when water transportation and water trading were reduced in importance and Bangkok Port moved to present Khlong Toei, it became a freight-only pier.Government facilities in the area include Charoenkrung Pracharak Hospital, a public hospital under the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) and the Yan Nawa office of the Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA), where one of Bangkok's former trams is preserved as a tourist attraction. The Bang Kho Laem Line of the Bangkok trams terminated here at Thanon Tok.Bangkok Mass Transit Authority (BMTA) bus line 1 is the only route that runs all the length of Charoen Krung from Thanon Tok to Tha Tian in Phra Nakhon District, the distance is 12 kilometers (about 7 mi).At the southern end of Charoen Krung Road from Trok Chan as far as Thanon Tok considered as a large community of Muslims. Thus making it the location of many mosques i.e. Masjid Darul Abideen, Masjid Al Bayaan, Masjid Bang Uthit, Masjid Assalafiyah etc. These Muslim ancestors all migrated from Java or Malay since the reign of King Rama I in the early Rattanakosin (18th century).

Asiatique: The Riverfront is a large open-air mall in Bangkok, Thailand. It occupies the former docks of the East Asiatic Company, and faces the Chao Phraya River and Charoen Krung Road. The complex opened in 2012 after extensive renovation of the site.

The Bangkok Protestant Cemetery is a cemetery catering mainly to the foreign community in Bangkok. To date, the cemetery has over 1800 interments (around 1100 names are legible on extant gravestones), and it is still accepting burials on a limited basis. The burial register is kept by Christ Church Bangkok (11 Convent Road). There are also a number of Jewish graves here, since before 1997 there was no other place in the city for the small Jewish community to bury their dead. This changed with the opening of the Jewish Cemetery, in a separate property adjacent to this cemetery.
