Gorle (Bergamasque: Górel) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about 50 kilometres (31 mi) northeast of Milan and about 4 kilometres (2 mi) east of Bergamo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 5,506 and an area of 2.4 square kilometres (0.93 sq mi).Gorle borders the following municipalities: Bergamo, Pedrengo, Ranica, Scanzorosciate, Seriate, Torre Boldone.

Morla is a 16 km long river in province of Bergamo. Its source is located in Maresana in the municipality of Ponteranica, then Morla crosses the city of Bergamo, after Bergamo part of its waters are used in agriculture. One branch flows into the Serio near Orio al Serio.

The airport is also officially called Il Caravaggio International Airport after the Baroque painter Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio, who originally hailed form the nearby town of Caravaggio.The airport is located in Orio al Serio, 3.7 km (2.3 mi) southeast of Bergamo and 45 km (28 mi) northeast of Milan. The airport is part of the airport network of the Milan metropolitan area, alongside Malpensa Airport and Linate Airport. The airport served almost 13 million passengers in 2018 and is used extensively by Ryanair.

Pedrengo (Bergamasque: Pedrèngh) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about 50 kilometres (31 mi) northeast of Milan and about 5 kilometres (3 mi) east of Bergamo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 5,321 and an area of 3.6 square kilometres (1.4 sq mi).Pedrengo borders the following municipalities: Albano Sant'Alessandro, Gorle, Scanzorosciate, Seriate, Torre de' Roveri. Pedrengo is famous for the villas that have remained to this day, thanks to noble and wealthy families that in the past centuries have come to the city. This is thanks to the lush green of parks and gardens, as well as large spaces that characterized the city. These villas were the ideal place to spend the summer months and also served as country residences. These are "Villa Sottocasa", "Villa Berizzi" "Villa Frizzoni" and "Palazzo Donadoni".

ASL Airlines Hungary Flight 7332 was a cargo flight operating for DHL from Paris–Charles de Gaulle Airport, France, to Bergamo Orio al Serio Airport, Italy. On 5 August 2016, the aircraft overran the runway while landing at Bergamo in poor weather, and came to rest on a nearby road. The airport was closed for almost three hours after the crash, and flights were rescheduled or rerouted to Malpensa Airport. The two-person crew was not injured.

Grassobbio (Bergamasque: Grahòbe or Grassòbe) is a municipality (comune) in the Province of Bergamo, which consists of 6487 of inhabitants, in the Italian region of Lombardy. Grassobbio is located in the orographical right side of Serio river and around 8.5km far from the main city of Bergamo. Grassobbio borders the following municipalities: Cavernago, Orio al Serio, Seriate, Zanica.

Orio al Serio (Bergamasque: Öre al Sère) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about 45 kilometres (28 mi) northeast of Milan and about 1 kilometre (1 mi) southeast of Bergamo. Orio al Serio Airport is located in the territory of the village. Orio is also home to the Orio Center, one of the largest shopping malls in Europe.

Villa di Serio (Bergamasque: Éla de Sère) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about 50 kilometres (31 mi) northeast of Milan and about 6 kilometres (4 mi) northeast of Bergamo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 6,118 and an area of 4.6 square kilometres (1.8 sq mi).The municipality of Villa di Serio contains the frazione (subdivision) Rinnovata. Villa di Serio borders the following municipalities: Alzano Lombardo, Nembro, Ranica, Scanzorosciate.

Torre Boldone (Bergamasque: Tür Boldù) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about 50 kilometres (31 mi) northeast of Milan and about 3 kilometres (2 mi) northeast of Bergamo, at the entrance of the Valle Seriana. Part of Torre Boldone's territory is part of Parco dei Colli di Bergamo

Bergamo railway station (Italian: Stazione di Bergamo) serves the city and comune of Bergamo, in the region of Lombardy, northern Italy. Opened in 1854, it is located at the junction of lines to Brescia, Lecco, Seregno and Treviglio. The station is currently managed by Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI). However, the commercial area of the passenger building is managed by Centostazioni. Each of these companies is a subsidiary of Ferrovie dello Stato (FS), Italy's state-owned rail company. The train services are operated by Trenord and Trenitalia.
