Kenner Flur

The Kyll (German pronunciation: [ˈkɪl]), noted by the Roman poet Ausonius as Celbis, is a 128-kilometre-long (80 mi) river in western Germany (North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate), left tributary of the Moselle. It rises in the Eifel mountains, near the border with Belgium and flows generally south through the towns Stadtkyll, Gerolstein, Kyllburg and east of Bitburg. It flows into the Moselle in Ehrang, a suburb of Trier.

Kenn is a municipality situated in the western region of Rhineland-Palatinate, near the border with Luxembourg. It is characterized by its encompassing red sandstone hills adorned with vineyards and located within the Moselle wine region. Administratively, Kenn falls under the jurisdiction of the Verbandsgemeinde Schweich an der Römischen Weinstraße in the Trier-Saarburg district.

The Ruwer is a river in Germany with a length of 46 kilometres (29 mi). It is a right tributary of the Moselle. The valley of the Ruwer is a part of the Moselle wine-growing region near Trier in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate. It is famous for its Riesling wines, see Ruwer (region), and, prior to 1 August 2007, the Moselle region used to be known as Moselle-Saar-Ruwer. In the lower Ruwer valley are the villages of Waldrach, Kasel, Mertesdorf, Eitelsbach and Ruwer.

Ruwer/Eitelsbach is a quarter of Trier, Germany. Eitelsbach was a small village at the Ruwer (river) in Germany's Mosel region and famous for the wine estate Karthäuserhof and the associated vineyard Karthäuserhofberg, which means "Carthusians' Hill". The wines are labeled "Eitelsbacher Karthäuserhofberger." Eitelsbach and Ruwer were added to Trier in 1969. They formed the Trier district of Ruwer/Eitelsbach in 1974.Now known in history.

The Ruwer-Hochwald-Radweg is a cyclable trail. It is for bicycles. It links the Moselle-valley and the Hunsrück from Trier to Hermeskeil in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. The length is about 48 km: Trier-Ruwer - Mertesdorf - Kasel - Waldrach: 5,8 km Waldrach - Sommerau - Gusterath-Tal - Pluwigerhammer: 7,7 km Pluwigerhammer - Hinzenburg - Burg Heid: 6,0 km Burg Heid - Hentern - Zerf: 5,6 km Zerf - Niederkell: 5,4 km Niederkell - Kell am See: 4,0 km Kell am See - Reinsfeld: 7,0 km Reinsfeld - Hermeskeil: 6,3 km

Ehrang station is, after Trier Hauptbahnhof, the second most important station in the city of Trier in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. The station forms a railway junction with a former marshalling yard that is still partly used as a freight yard. At the station, the Eifel Railway from Cologne connects with the Koblenz–Trier railway. Until 1983, Ehrang station was also the starting point of the Trier West Railway to Igel that connected with Wasserbillig / Luxembourg.

Karthäuserhof is the oldest winery in Rhineland-Palatinate state of Germany founded in 1335, when elector of Trier gave vineyards to Carthusians monks, after them is the winery name. The only source of the fruit for winery is the local Karthäuserhofberg and vineyard of 19 hectares is planted mainly with Riesling grape.

Mertesdorf is a municipality in the Trier-Saarburg district, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, near Trier. Grünhaus is a part of Mertesdorf.

Schweich an der Römischen Weinstraße is a Verbandsgemeinde ("collective municipality") in the Trier-Saarburg district, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is located in the northeast of Trier and consists of the town of Schweich on the Moselle and the 18 Ortsgemeinden ("local municipalities") of Bekond, Detzem, Ensch, Fell, Föhren, Kenn, Klüsserath, Köwerich, Leiwen, Longen, Longuich, Mehring, Naurath, Pölich, Riol, Schleich, Thörnich and Trittenheim.

Schweich is a town in the Trier-Saarburg district, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is situated on the river Moselle, approx. 10 km (6.2 mi) northeast of Trier. Schweich is the seat of the Verbandsgemeinde ("collective municipality") Schweich an der Römischen Weinstraße.

Kasel is a municipality in the Trier-Saarburg district, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany.

Trier Arena is an indoor sporting arena located in Trier, Germany. The capacity of the arena is 5,495 people. It is currently home to the TBB Trier basketball team.
