Oasis Academy Arena

Croydon Football Club is an English semi-professional football club based in Croydon, London. Until 2006, they played in the Isthmian League, but lost their place in that league as part of the 2006 re-structuring of non-league football, and now play in the Southern Counties East League Division One. They play at Croydon Sports Arena in South Norwood. The club was founded in 1953 as Croydon Amateurs.

Arena tram stop is a light rail stop in the Woodside area of South Norwood in the London Borough of Croydon in the southern suburbs of London. The stop is located by the Croydon Sports Arena and serves the council estates of Longheath Gardens Estate and Tollgate Estate. The tram stop is located on a section of line which follows the trackbed of the former Woodside and South Croydon Railway, although there was no station at the location prior to the opening of Tramlink. The stop is at ground level on double track, with platforms on each side of the tracks. Immediately to the east of the station is a junction where services diverge either to the north along a section of route specially constructed for Tramlink, or continue straight ahead along the former railway right of way. Just beyond this junction services bound for Elmers End becomes a single track for the rest of its journey. The National Cycle Route 21 (the Waterlink Way) crosses the tram lines at Arena.

South Norwood Leisure Centre is a leisure centre located on Portland Road in South Norwood in Croydon, London. It contains a 25m sized swimming pool, teaching pool, 32 station gym and two studios. The centre is managed by Better (GLL).

Apsley Road Playground is a park and playground situated in South Norwood, London, England. It is managed by the London Borough of Croydon and covers an area of 0.25 acres (0.10 ha). The park is mainly located on Apsley Road which is also the main entrance for the park. It is more targeted to the surrounding residential area. The playground's nearest Tramlink stop is Harrington Road.

Woodside was a railway station in Croydon, south London, on the Woodside and South Croydon Joint Railway. The South Eastern Railway opened the station in July 1871 to serve the nearby Croydon racecourse. A ramp from the station facilitated the loading of racehorses. The station has since been replaced by Woodside tram stop. After the racecourse closed in 1890, use of Woodside station decreased. The down bay platform fell into disuse in 1917 following the closure of the line to Selsdon. The line to Selsdon reopened upon electrification in 1935, with through services to and from London. However, there were drastic reductions in the train service during World War II, from which the line never really recovered. From October 1939 the station was served by a shuttle to and from Elmers End. Through weekday trains to London were reinstated in the spring of 1948, but traffic on the branch was in decline and a shuttle service was again instituted again in 1950, with a handful of through London services in the peak hours. The small goods yard closed in 1963. The line to Selsdon once again closed in 1983, this time permanently, and the signal box at the south end of the down platform closed in 1984. The station building, situated over the platforms at street level, was de-staffed from 1993 and boarded up. In 1996 the signal box at Addiscombe burned down and single-line working was introduced, with all trains using the down line; the London-bound platform fell into disuse. The station closed in 1997 in preparation for the construction of Tramlink. Tramlink now uses the line between Elmers End and the site of Coombe Road. Most of the previous platforms were demolished and new tram platforms constructed. Part of the London-bound platform was left to provide a pathway to the tram platforms, using stairs to the street-level building, which is abandoned. Following closure of the Addiscombe branch the trackbed has become Addiscombe Railway Park. The dismantled platform was donated to the Swanage Heritage Railway and reassembled in 2009 at Herston Halt.

South Norwood Country Park is a park in South Norwood, close to Elmers End and Birkbeck train stations. The historic Kent-Surrey border runs through the site, and since 1965 it has been located wholly in the London Borough of Croydon. It is a 47 hectare (116 acre) green space which opened in 1989. The park is a mix of countryside and parkland, and land formerly used for sewage farms serving the growing London population. Croydon Sports Arena, the home of Croydon F.C., is on the south-eastern edge of the park. There is also a car park and visitor centre, and a duck pond similar to the one at South Norwood Lake.

Woodside tram stop is a light rail stop situated between Woodside Green and Ashburton Park in the London Borough of Croydon in the southern suburbs of London. The stop is located on the site of the former Woodside railway station of the Woodside and South Croydon Railway; the old station buildings survive, though not used by Tramlink. The tram stop has a platform on each side of the track with access to both platforms by stairs on the west side of the station building and by ramps on the east side.

Woodside is a ward in the London Borough of Croydon. The ward covers the Woodside area. The first election to the new ward was on 13 May 2018. On 6 May 2021, 5 by-elections were held in Croydon following the resignation of 5 councillors across New Addington North, South Norwood, Kenley, Park Hill and Whitgift and Woodside.

Harrington Road tram stop is a light rail stop in South Norwood in the London Borough of Croydon in the southern suburbs of London. Harrington Road is in a residential area, and along with Woodside tram stop is the nearest tram stop to the town of South Norwood. Beckenham Cemetery lies immediately to the east and there is an entrance immediately adjacent to the tramstop. The tram stop, which is served by Tramlink, connects to central Croydon. The stop is at ground level on double track, with platforms on each side of the track. Immediately to the north of the stop, the route becomes single track and turns sharply to the east, joining the trackbed of the existing railway line between Crystal Palace and Beckenham Junction stations. The two tracks (Tramlink and Network Rail) run alongside each other, occupying the site of what was previously a double track railway. Transport for London once had plans to extend the Tramlink system to Crystal Palace, which would have involved a junction to the north of Harrington Road, with the extension joining the existing railway in the opposite direction to the current service. The planned extension to Crystal Palace was formally dropped by Transport for London in 2008.

Woodside is an area in south London, in the London Borough of Croydon and the historic county of Surrey. It is between Addiscombe and South Norwood. It is south of South Norwood, west of Shirley and Monks Orchard, north of Addiscombe, and east of Selhurst.

Ashburton Park is a park located in Woodside, in the London Borough of Croydon, and takes its name from nearby Ashburton. The park is located close to Woodside tram stop, where Tramlink services the park. It is on the junction of Lower Addiscombe Road and Spring Lane. The park covers an area of 18.5 acres (7.5 ha) and includes a village green, pétanque terrain, bowling green, tennis and basketball courts and a café.
