Our Lady of Guadalupe

Our Lord of the Miracles of Buga (Spanish: Nuestro Señor de Los Milagros de Buga), also known as the Lord of the Miracles (Spanish: Senor de Los Milagros), is a statue of Jesus Christ in the form of a crucifix, said to have come into existence spontaneously and without the work of human hands. This type of miraculous icon is known as acheiropoieta. The Lord of Miracles appeared in the 16th century in what is now Buga, Colombia. It has been housed since the 18th century in the Basilica of Our Lord of the Miracles in Buga, Valle del Cauca in the south west of Colombia. This minor Basilica is the most famous Catholic non-Marian sanctuary in the Americas. The Redemptorist monastic community that curates Our Lord of the Miracles also promotes the veneration of a reproduction of the Cretan icon of our Lady of Perpetual help.

The Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe (Spanish: Basílica de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe) is a Roman Catholic church, basilica, and National shrine of Mexico which houses the cloak containing the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe. The 1709 shrine was built in the North of Mexico City near the hill of Tepeyac, where the Virgin Mary is believed to have appeared to Saint Juan Diego Cuauhtlatoatzin. The basilica structure which now contains Juan Diego's cloak was completed in 1974. This site is also known as La Villa de Guadalupe or, in a more popular sense, La Villa, and has several churches and related buildings. One of the most important pilgrimage sites of Catholicism, the basilica and tilma (cloak) are visited by several million people every year, especially around 12 December, Our Lady of Guadalupe's Feast day.

Colonia Villa de Guadalupe (also known as La Villa de Guadalupe Hidalgo) is a former separate town, now a neighborhood in northern Mexico City which in 1531 was the site of the apparition of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the most renowned Marian apparition in the Americas. She is venerated in the Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine, located in the villa (town). The word Guadalupe comes from Spain, where it was originally the name of a river. La Villa de Guadalupe is located in Mexico City (formerly called the Mexican Federal District) within the borough of Gustavo A. Madero. The town was founded in 1563 and chartered as the city of "Villa de Guadalupe Hidalgo" in 1828. The city was named after Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, the initiator of the Mexican War of Independence. The Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo which ended the Mexican–American War was signed here in 1848.

La Villa-Basílica (Spanish: Estación La Villa-Basílica) is station along Line 6 of the Mexico City Metro. Its logo is the façade of the nearby Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe.The station serves the Colonia Aragón and Colonia La Villa neighborhoods. It opened on 8 July 1986.

Tepeyac or the Hill of Tepeyac, historically known by the names Tepeyacac and Tepeaquilla, is located inside Gustavo A. Madero, the northernmost delegación or borough of Mexico City. According to the Catholic tradition, it is the site where Saint Juan Diego met the Virgin of Guadalupe in December 1531, and received the iconic image of the Lady of Guadalupe. The Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe located there is one of the most visited Catholic shrines in the world. Spanish colonists erected a Catholic chapel at the site, Our Lady of Guadalupe, "the place of many miracles.": 363  It forms part of the Sierra de Guadalupe mountain range.

Indios Verdes (Spanish pronunciation ; Spanish lit. transl. "Green Indians") is a station of the Mexico City Metro along Insurgentes Norte Avenue in the colonias (neighborhoods) of Residencial Zacatenco and Santa Isabel Tola, in Gustavo A. Madero, Mexico City. It is an at-grade station with two island platforms that serves as the northern terminus of Line 3 (the Olive Line). It is followed by Deportivo 18 de Marzo station. The station and its surrounding area are named this way because of the verdigris statues of Itzcoatl and Ahuitzotl, both Aztec rulers. They are located in Mestizaje Park and are collectively known as the Monumento a los Indios Verdes; the statues are featured in the pictogram. The station was opened on 1 December 1979, on the first day of service between Indios Verdes and Hospital General stations. The station facilities are partially accessible for people with disabilities as there are tactile pavings and braille signage plates. In 2019, the station had an average daily ridership of 107,376 passengers, making it the 3rd busiest station in the system and the busiest of the line.

Martín Carrera is a station on the Mexico City Metro. It is located at the borders of the Colonia Martín Carrera, Colonia 15 de Agosto, and Colonia Díaz Mirón districts in the Gustavo A. Madero borough, in the north of Mexico City. The station logo depicts bust of General Martín Carrera, a national hero who fought in the Mexican–American War of 1846–48.

Potrero (Spanish: [poˈtɾeɾo] (listen); Spanish lit. transl. "Paddock") is a station of the Mexico City Metro built along Insurgentes Norte Avenue in the colonias (neighborhoods) of Capultitlan and Guadalupe Insurgentes, in Gustavo A. Madero, Mexico City. It is an at-grade station with one island platform served by Line 3 (the Olive Line) between Deportivo 18 de Marzo and La Raza stations. The station and its surrounding area are named this way because there used to be a hippodrome during the Porfiriato era (1876–1911) and its pictogram features the silhouette of a head of a horse behind a fence. The station was opened on 1 December 1979, on the first day of service between Indios Verdes and Hospital General stations. In 2019, the station had an average daily ridership of 17,308 passengers, making it the 106th busiest station in the network and the third-least used in the line. The facilities are partially accessible for people with disabilities as it is equipped with access ramps.
