St George's Church (Estonian: Tartu Püha Jüri kirik, Russian: Юрьевский собор) is a church of the Estonian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate in Tartu, Estonia.

Ülejõe (Estonian for 'across the river') is a neighbourhood of Tartu, Estonia. It has a population of 8,226 (as of 31 December 2013) and an area of 3.02 km2 (1.17 sq mi).Ülejõe lies across the Emajõgi from Tartu's city center, featuring Ülejõe Park alongside the river. Its most prominent site is the University of Tartu's Delta Center for Computer Science alongside other buildings of the University of Tartu. The northern part of Ülejõe was formerly called Kvissental (:et).

The museum building was built in the late 18th century.As of 2015, the museum has about 158,000 items.The museum permanent exhibition name is "Dorpat. Yuryev. Tartu."The museum has four branches: 19th Century Tartu Citizen's Home Museum; KGB Cells Museum; Oskar Luts Home Museum; Song Festival Museum.

Tartu Veterinary Institute (Estonian: Tartu Veterinaariainstituut, German: Kaiserliche Veterinair-Institut zu Dorpat) was an institute which provided a university level education in veterinary medicine. It was located in Tartu, Estonia. The institute was established in 1848 and was, therefore, the oldest veterinary school in Imperial Russia. The Institute's first director was Hans Peter Boje Jessen.Studies at the Institute were divided into two levels. The higher level graduated full-fledged veterinarians. The lower level produced veterinary assistants. In 1852, the lower level was discontinued.In 1918 the Institute became part of Tartu University.

Raadi-Kruusamäe, or Raadi for short, is a neighbourhood of Tartu, Estonia. It has a population of 4,498 (as of 31 December 2013) and an area of 2.83 km2 (1.09 sq mi). Raadi is mainly suburban area. The name Raadi comes from Raadi Manor (German: Ratshof), which belonged to the town council (Rat) of Tartu in medieval times. The Manor was first mentioned on a card in 1688. The manor housed the Estonian National Museum 1922–1944, but was heavily damaged in World War II due to the bombings from Soviet Army. New building for the museum was opened in 2016 and the Manor is currently in ruins, but it has been suggested to move Tartu Art Museum to the restored Manor building.In 2020, estimated 200,000 solar panels will be built on Raadi Airfield, making it the biggest solar farm in Estonia.

Emajõe Business Centre (Estonian: Emajõe ärikeskus, colloquially "Plasku" or "Pläsku") is a business centre in Tartu, Estonia. The centre is located at the Emajõgi river. The centre was designed by Kalle Rõõmus. The centre was opened in 1998. The centre has 14 storeys and its height is 52 m.

Old St. John's Cemetery (Estonian: Vana-Jaani kalmistu) lies in the southeastern part of Raadi Cemetery in Tartu, Estonia. It was entered into the National Register of Cultural Monuments on 23 May 1997.Following a ukase of Russian Empress Catherine II forbidding burials in churches, Old St. John's Cemetery was founded in 1773 under the ownership of St. John's Church, and formally opened on 5 November that year. It served as the burial location for St. John's German and Estonian congregations and the Tartu Russian church. However, its name dates to the foundation of New St. John's Cemetery on Puiestee Street.There are several buildings of historical value in the cemetery: the family chapel of Mayor Jacob Friedrich Teller, the Rauch-Seidlitz chapel, and the Carl Klein chapel.

Stadium of Tartu University (Estonian: Tartu Ülikooli staadion) is a multi-purpose stadium in Tartu, Estonia. It is owned and operated by the University of Tartu and has a capacity of 1,700.

Raudsild (Iron Bridge) was a footbridge across Emajõgi in Tartu, Estonia, which was opened on 3 June 1993, and dismantled again in 2007. It connected the neighbourhood of Kesklinn (city centre) with Ülejõe. The pedestrian bridge had a minor design flaw which made it gyrate noticeably at even minor impacts, like a normal-sized person jumping or running across it. The bridge was taken apart in 2007 to be replaced by Vabaduse Bridge, a 3-lane traffic bridge opened in the summer of 2009. The bridge was planned to be eventually moved upstream and re-assembled for pedestrian traffic. As of 2016, no action has been taken in this regard. The decision to dismantle Raudsild is sometimes considered being controversial because of the costs and worsening of the conditions for pedestrians in Tartu downtown while not substantially improving the traffic conditions.

Kaarsild ('Arch Bridge') is a pedestrian bridge in Tartu, Estonia. The bridge connects the city's centre and the Ülejõe District.The bridge was built in 1957–1959 on the site of the former Stone Bridge; this bridge was destroyed during WWII.In 2017, the bridge was renovated.At night, the bridge is illuminated with lighting effects.

Tasku Shopping Centre (Estonian: Tasku Keskus, abbreviated Tasku) is a shopping mall in Tartu, Estonia. Next to Tasku is located Emajõe Business Centre.Tasku was opened in 2008. The building was designed by Kalle Rõõmuse. Style of the building is Modern architectism. Arhitektuuribüroo, and interior works were done by Vaikla Disain.Besides many shops, Tasku accommodates also a multiplex cinema Cinamon (until 2020), Dorpat Conference Centre and a large book store (Rahva Raamat).
