St George's Church (Estonian: Tartu Püha Jüri kirik, Russian: Юрьевский собор) is a church of the Estonian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate in Tartu, Estonia.

Tartu Veterinary Institute (Estonian: Tartu Veterinaariainstituut, German: Kaiserliche Veterinair-Institut zu Dorpat) was an institute which provided a university level education in veterinary medicine. It was located in Tartu, Estonia. The institute was established in 1848 and was, therefore, the oldest veterinary school in Imperial Russia. The Institute's first director was Hans Peter Boje Jessen.Studies at the Institute were divided into two levels. The higher level graduated full-fledged veterinarians. The lower level produced veterinary assistants. In 1852, the lower level was discontinued.In 1918 the Institute became part of Tartu University.

Raudsild (Iron Bridge) was a footbridge across Emajõgi in Tartu, Estonia, which was opened on 3 June 1993, and dismantled again in 2007. It connected the neighbourhood of Kesklinn (city centre) with Ülejõe. The pedestrian bridge had a minor design flaw which made it gyrate noticeably at even minor impacts, like a normal-sized person jumping or running across it. The bridge was taken apart in 2007 to be replaced by Vabaduse Bridge, a 3-lane traffic bridge opened in the summer of 2009. The bridge was planned to be eventually moved upstream and re-assembled for pedestrian traffic. As of 2016, no action has been taken in this regard. The decision to dismantle Raudsild is sometimes considered being controversial because of the costs and worsening of the conditions for pedestrians in Tartu downtown while not substantially improving the traffic conditions.

University of Tartu Sports Hall (Estonian: Tartu Ülikooli Spordihoone) is a multi-purpose indoor arena complex in Tartu. It was opened in 1982 and is owned by the University of Tartu Academic Sports Club.It's located on the left bank of the Emajõgi, in Ülejõe neighbourhood.

Old St. John's Cemetery (Estonian: Vana-Jaani kalmistu) lies in the southeastern part of Raadi Cemetery in Tartu, Estonia. It was entered into the National Register of Cultural Monuments on 23 May 1997.Following a ukase of Russian Empress Catherine II forbidding burials in churches, Old St. John's Cemetery was founded in 1773 under the ownership of St. John's Church, and formally opened on 5 November that year. It served as the burial location for St. John's German and Estonian congregations and the Tartu Russian church. However, its name dates to the foundation of New St. John's Cemetery on Puiestee Street.There are several buildings of historical value in the cemetery: the family chapel of Mayor Jacob Friedrich Teller, the Rauch-Seidlitz chapel, and the Carl Klein chapel.

Raadi cemetery, (Estonian: Raadi kalmistu) is the oldest and largest burial ground in Tartu, Estonia, dating back to 1773. Many prominent historical figures are buried there. It is also the largest Baltic German cemetery in Estonia after the destruction of Kopli cemetery in Tallinn. Until 1841, it was the only cemetery in the town. The cemetery currently includes several smaller graveyard sections, the oldest of which date back to 1773.

University of Tartu Botanical Garden (Estonian: Tartu Ülikooli Botaanikaaed), is a botanical garden in Tartu, Estonia. It belongs to the University of Tartu. The Garden was established in 1803. Originally, it was located at Vanemuise street near what is now the Vanemuine Small Theatre House. In 1806, the garden was relocated to a more suitable site, on a former bastion at Lai street on the northern side of the old town.
