Lehigh Mountain is a mountain in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. The main peak rises to 843 feet (257 m) and is located in Salisbury Township. Lehigh Mountain is located on the right bank of the Lehigh River, and is separated from South Mountain by the headwaters of Trout Creek. It is part of the Reading Prong of the Appalachian Mountains.

Gauff Hill is an unincorporated community in the extreme eastern Salisbury Township in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. It is part of the Lehigh Valley, which has a population of 861,899 and was the 68th-most populous metropolitan area in the U.S. as of the 2020 census. Gauff Hill is located at the head of a valley between arms of South Mountain to the north and south and is separated from the Lehigh River by the former. The East Branch Trout Creek starts just east of the village and flows west to join the South Branch in Allentown to become the Trout Creek, a tributary of the Lehigh River. Gauff Hill is located at the junction of the two roads connecting the south sides of Allentown and Bethlehem, Emaus Avenue and Susquehanna Street. These two roads form a triangle intersection with Seidersville Road and join to become Broadway, which continues via Fountain Hill to Bethlehem. It serves Salisbury Township. The district encompasses approximately 11 square miles (28 km2). As of the 2022–23 school year, the school district had a total enrollment of 1,490 students between all its four schools, according to National Center for Education Statistics data, which include Salisbury High School for grades nine through 12, Salisbury Middle School for grades five through eight, Arts Academy Charter School for grades five through eight, and Salisbury Elementary School for kindergarten through fourth grade. Allentown State Hospital was a psychiatric hospital located at 1600 Hanover Avenue in Allentown, Pennsylvania. It served Lehigh, Northampton, Carbon, Monroe, Pike, and occasionally eastern Schuylkill counties in Pennsylvania. The hospital, which was one of seven psychiatric hospitals in Pennsylvania, was demolished on December 28, 2020.

The Lehigh Valley Silk Mills were a collection of mills located in the Lehigh Valley region of eastern Pennsylvania in the 19th and 20th centuries. The industry began in 1881 and thrived throughout the Second Industrial Revolution. The Lehigh Valley Silk Mills also refers to a specific company that owned the Lipps & Sutton Silk Mill and Warren Mill. The first silk mill in the Lehigh Valley opened in 1881 and was followed by the opening of many others. By 1900, there were twenty-three silk establishments in the Lehigh Valley, making Pennsylvania the second largest producer of silk in the world. The silk industry in Pennsylvania peaked in the late 1920s due to cheap labor, mainly from immigrant workers' children and wives. However, after the Great Depression, increasing labor unrest and competition from other textile industries began to affect the silk industry locally and nationally. By 1953, Allentown had become the number one silk city in the world, but even then, the number of looms had decreased. At the time, only six mills continued to work with silk exclusively. Other mills either shut down due to bankruptcy or shifted to the production synthetic fibers.

Mount Airy Historic District, also known as Mount Airy Park, is a national historic district located at Bethlehem, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. The district includes 27 contributing buildings in a residential area of Bethlehem. It includes large, ornate residences built between 1910 and 1930. A few date as early as 1895.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

The school employed 25 teachers, yielding a student-teacher ratio of 16:57. In November 2012, the Allentown School District School Board renewed the charter school's agreement for five years, amid concerns regarding Lincoln Leadership Academy Charter School's association with a local church.Lincoln Leadership Academy Charter School is one of four public charter schools operating in Lehigh County in 2013. Lehigh Valley Christian High School (LVCHS) was a private, Christian high school located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, United States. It closed at the end of the 2019-20 school year. Some of its teachers formed the new Fellowship Christian High School in Bethlehem.

Little Lehigh Creek is approximately 24.0 miles (38.6 km) long and is located in the Lehigh Valley region of eastern Pennsylvania. It is sometimes referred to as the Little Lehigh River. It is the largest tributary of the Lehigh River. The creek flows in a winding course through the Lehigh Valley. It originates in Longswamp Township in Berks County and flows generally northeast through Lower Macungie Township and Salisbury Township. In the city of Allentown, it receives Jordan Creek, just before flowing into the Lehigh River. The Little Lehigh has 88.8 square miles (230.0 km2) of drainage area in Lehigh County and 18.7 square miles (48.4 km2) of drainage area in Berks County.
