Hochelaga-Maisonneuve

Hochelaga-Maisonneuve is a provincial electoral district in Quebec, Canada, that elects members to the National Assembly of Quebec. The district is located within Montreal, and its territory mostly covers the borough of Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, and also parts of Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie, Ville-Marie and Le Plateau-Mont-Royal boroughs. It is bordered to the east by the Canadian National Railway yard, to the south by the Saint Lawrence River, to the north by Rachel and Sherbrooke Streets and to the west by Frontenac Street. It was created for the 1989 election from parts of Maisonneuve and Sainte-Marie electoral districts. In the change from the 2001 to the 2011 electoral map, its territory was unchanged.

Maisonneuve Market (French: Marché Maisonneuve) is a public market in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is located at 4445 Ontario Street East in the borough of Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve. It is bordered by Ontario Street to the south, William-David Street to the east, Place Gennevilliers Laliberté to the west and north. It can be reached from Pie-IX and Viau stations on the Montreal Metro's Green Line. The original market was built in 1912 according to plans by architect Marius Dufresne. The present building opened in 1995, replacing umbrella shelters installed in 1980.

The Les petits baigneurs is a monument in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Designed by Alfred Laliberté, it was unveiled in 1916 at the entrance to the Maisonneuve public baths in Montreal. The monument was later restored in 1992. It is on Morgan Avenue, close to the La Fermière monument.

École secondaire Eulalie-Durocher is a francophone secondary public mixed school located in Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve borough in Montreal. Part of the Centre de services scolaire de Montréal (CSSDM), it was originally in the catholic School board Commission des écoles catholiques de Montréal (CECM) before the 1998 reorganization of School boards from religious communities into linguistic communities in Quebec. In 2019, the school has 748 students.

Hochelaga—Maisonneuve (formerly known as Maisonneuve) was a federal electoral district in Quebec, Canada, that was represented in the House of Commons of Canada from 1979 to 2004. It was created in 1976 as "Maisonneuve" riding from parts of Hochelaga, Lafontaine and Maisonneuve—Rosemont ridings. It was renamed "Hochelaga—Maisonneuve" in 1978. The riding was abolished in 2003 when it was redistributed into Hochelaga, Honoré-Mercier and La Pointe-de-l'Île ridings.

Pie-IX Boulevard (French: boulevard Pie-IX, pronounced [piˈnœf] in both English and French), named after Pope Pius IX, is a major boulevard in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It runs for roughly 11 km (6.8 mi) in a northwest–southeast direction between Henri Bourassa Boulevard and Notre-Dame East. Pie-IX Boulevard runs past the Montreal Botanical Gardens and the Olympic Stadium. The boulevard forms part of Quebec Route 125. It traverses the boroughs of Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie, Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension and Montréal-Nord.

Viauville is a neighbourhood in the borough of Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Established in 1892 as a result of an urban plan made by Charles-Théodore Viau and the former city of Maisonneuve, and part of the aforementioned city, Viauville never obtained municipality status.Viauville is named for Charles-Théodore Viau, a member of the paroisse Saint-Clément and founder of the biscuiterie Viau. The area was home to Canadian Vickers Maisonville Shipyards, now Port of Montreal berths.

It was created for the 1912 election from part of Hochelaga electoral district. Its final election was in 1919. It was redistributed in the 1923 election into the electoral districts of Montreal–Saint-Henri and Montréal-Verdun, with small parts going to Montréal–Saint-Georges and Montréal–Sainte-Anne.
