Roissy-en-France

The Communauté d'agglomération Roissy Pays de France is a communauté d'agglomération in the Val-d'Oise and Seine-et-Marne départements and in the Île-de-France région of France. It was formed on 1 January 2016 by the merger of the former communauté d'agglomération Val de France, communauté d'agglomération Roissy Porte de France and 17 communes that were part of the Communauté de communes Plaines et Monts de France. Its seat is in Roissy-en-France. Its area is 340.9 km2. Its population was 354,451 in 2018, of which 2,858 in Roissy-en-France and 58,811 in Sarcelles, the largest commune of the communauté d'agglomération.

The Atrium by Penta is a 4 star hotel inaugurated in 1992, located close to the Paris Charles de Gaulle international airport and Villepinte exhibition center. It belongs to the German hotel company Pentahotels.

Aérofret station is a future infill station on the RER B's Airport branch. It will be in the town of Tremblay-en-France in the Seine-Saint-Denis department and will serve the Aéroville mall as well as planned development on the western side of the freight areas on the western side of Charles de Gaulle Airport. It was proposed as part of the Grand Paris public works program, the creation of a new infill station called "Aérofret" between Parc des Expositions station to the south and Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 1 station and is slated to open by 2025 along with the planned developments in the area. The station will be located at kilometre 22.98 of the airport branch of the RER B (branch B3). The station sees services between Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport and Robinson or Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse via Gare du Nord in Paris. Trains run every 15 minutes throughout the day, with additional services during the peak hours.

Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (IATA: CDG, ICAO: LFPG), also known as Roissy Airport, is the main international airport serving Paris, the capital of France. Opened in 1974, it is in Roissy-en-France, 23 km (14 mi) northeast of Paris and is named after World War II statesman Charles de Gaulle (1890–1970), whose initials form its IATA airport code. Charles de Gaulle Airport serves as the principal hub for Air France and a destination for other legacy carriers (from Star Alliance, Oneworld and SkyTeam), as well as an operating base for easyJet and Norse Atlantic Airways. It is operated by Groupe ADP (Aéroports de Paris) under the brand Paris Aéroport. In 2022, the airport handled 57,474,033 passengers and 34,657 aircraft movements, thus making it the world's ninth busiest airport and Europe's third busiest airport (after Istanbul and Heathrow) in terms of passenger numbers. Charles de Gaulle is also the busiest airport within the European Union. In terms of cargo traffic, the airport is the eleventh busiest in the world and the busiest in Europe, handling 2,102,268 tonnes (2,069,066 long tons; 2,317,354 short tons) of cargo in 2019. It is also the airport that is served by the greatest number of airlines, with more than 105 airlines operating at the airport. As of 2017, the airport offered direct flights to the most countries and hosts the most airlines in the world. Marc Houalla has been the director of the airport since 12 February 2018.

Vaudherland (French pronunciation: [vodɛʁlɑ̃] ) is a commune in the Val-d'Oise department in Île-de-France in northern France.

Comic Con Paris, or previously known as Kultima and Comic-Con', is a French multi-genre entertainment and comic convention held annually in Paris, Île-de-France, France. From 2007 to 2014, it was held at the Parc des Expositions in Villepinte in the northeastern suburbs of Paris. After a break in 2015, it came back in 2016 and is now held at the Grande halle de la Villette in Paris.

Japan Expo is a convention on Japanese popular culture – the largest of its kind outside Japan – taking place in Paris, France, although it has branched out into a partnership festival – Kultima – and expanded to include some European and US pop culture as well. It is held yearly at the beginning of July for four days (usually from Thursday to Sunday) in the Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre (the second-largest convention centre in France). The attendance has increased steadily over the years, with 2,400 visitors welcomed in the first edition in 1999 and more than 252,510 for the 2019 edition. As with the Olympic Games and many other mass gatherings, the 2020 and 2021 editions were cancelled because of the global COVID-19 pandemic.

The Parc des expositions de Paris-Nord Villepinte (English: Paris Nord Villepinte) is a large convention center located in Villepinte near Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport. The center opened in 1982 and is the second-largest in France. The center encompasses 115 hectares and has 246,000 m2 of convention space in eight halls. The center is served by the Parc des Expositions station on the RER B. Paris Nord Villepinte is one metro stop from Charles de Gaulle Airport and 30 minutes from Gare du Nord, Chatelet-Les Halles, Saint Michel RER B stations in Paris city. Managed by Viparis, Paris Nord Villepinte Convention and Exhibition Centre hosts many international professional and consumer exhibitions and conventions, such as All4pack, Europain, Eurosatory, Expofil, Intermat, Maison & Objet, SIAL, Silmo and IPA. At the 2024 Summer Olympics, Villepinte was known as the Arena Paris Nord and was configured to a capacity of 6,000. It hosted boxing preliminaries and quarterfinals, the fencing portion of the modern pentathlon, and will also host the volleyball competitions of the 2024 Summer Paralympics.

Continental Square is a 60,000 square feet (5,600 m2) office complex located in Roissypôle on the grounds of Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport, in Tremblay-en-France, France, developed by Seifert Architects. The complex has a surface area of 50,000 square metres (540,000 sq ft) and consists of eight buildings. The buildings have underground walkways that link to restaurants and other facilities under pyramid roofs.

Parc des Expositions station is a station on the RER B's Airport branch. The station is at kilometre 21.01 of the airport branch of the RER B (branch B3). As part of the RER B upgrade, an additional platform is due to be built. The station sees services between Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport and Robinson or Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse via Gare du Nord in Paris. Also, it will be served by the Paris Metro Line 17 from Saint-Denis–Pleyel to Le Mesnil–Amelot as part of Grand Paris Express. Trains run every 15 minutes throughout the day, with additional services during the peak hours.

Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 1 is one of two railway stations at Charles de Gaulle Airport, the primary airport for the Paris region and the largest in France. The station is served by RER B (a hybrid suburban commuter and rapid transit line that offers services to Paris) and CDGVAL (a free rail shuttle service around the airport grounds). Despite being named after Terminal 1, the station is actually located relatively far from the terminal, but it can be accessed with a short ride on the CDGVAL. Terminal 3 can also be accessed from this station by a five-minute walk on a 300-metre-long (980 ft) pathway. The station is located inside Roissypôle, a development that includes office buildings (including the headquarters of Air France), shopping areas, hotels, and the primary bus station for the airport. Because of its location, the station is named Terminal 3 Roissypôle on maps of the CDGVAL system.
