Corunna, Ontario

Stag Island is a private Canadian island located in the St. Clair River between Corunna, Ontario and Marysville, Michigan. The island currently houses over 100 cottages owned by both American and Canadian citizens. A ferry service is run from Corunna to the island by the Stag Island Auxiliary Club.

Marysville High School is a public high school in Marysville, Michigan. The school building was constructed in 2010. The previous school, which stood one block west, was in service from 1942 until its demolition in 2010. The high school has an enrollment of 811, and is a class B school. Marysville High School is in the Macomb Area Conference of the Michigan High School Athletic Association. Its mascot is the Viking, and its colors are navy blue and white with silver accents.

The Marysville Power Plant, nicknamed the Mighty Marysville, was a coal-fired power plant in Marysville, Michigan on the shore of the St. Clair River. The plant was demolished on November 7, 2015, after the land was sold to a developer.

Marysville is a city in St. Clair County of the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 9,959 at the 2010 census. The municipality was founded in 1919, first as a village, then became a city in 1924. Marysville is located on the western shore of the St. Clair River, across from Corunna, Ontario. The city is marked by winding streets, subdivisions, a riverfront boardwalk, Bridge-to-Bay Bike Trail and an industrial park. The city was home to the former Wills Sainte Claire Automotive company, a Morton Salt plant, and the Detroit Edison Marysville Power Plant which was decommissioned in 2001 and razed in 2015.

WPHM (1380 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station in Port Huron, Michigan. The station broadcasts a News/Talk/Sports radio format. It is owned by Radio First with studios on Huron Avenue in Downtown Port Huron.WPHM is powered at 5,000 watts. To protect other stations on 1380 AM from interference, it uses a directional antenna with a seven-tower array. The signal covers much of The Thumb area of Michigan. The transmitter is on Range Road in St. Clair, Michigan, near the St. Clair River.Programming includes a local morning talk show with syndicated news and sports programs the rest of the day. Sarnia Regional Cogeneration Plant is a natural gas power station owned by TransAlta Energy, in Sarnia, Ontario. The plant is primarily used to supply steam to Arlanxeo, Styrolution, Suncor and Nova Chemicals and power onto the Ontario Grid.

Mooretown is a community in the Township of St. Clair, Ontario, Canada, located on the east bank of the St. Clair River. It was first established as Sutherland's Landing.Mooretown gained in prosperity during the 19th century as a port of call for sail born vessels requiring assistance to pass "The Rapids" where steamboats driven by cord wood stacked on Mooretown's piers could be towed up river into Lake Huron. The original Scottish settlers established a church at Sutherland's Landing (now between Mooretown and Courtright) which was then moved to Mooretown in the 1860s when the oak logs of the original structure rotted out. The 1860s structure was struck by lightning in 1918 having been built of local timber with a copper clad steeple known to mariners as a navigation point. The 1919 replacement structure is now on the Moore Museum's grounds having been preserved by artist Christine Anne Wingfield-Brandon. The structure retains the steeple bell from the original Sutherland's Landing Church.Mooretown served as a regional center for salt mining and oil refining before these industries move to neighboring communities. In the 19th century Mooretown was a regional seat with a considerable population with hotels and a municipal seat, it exists today as a quiet and distinctive community.

The St. Clair Energy Centre is a natural gas power station in St. Clair, Ontario. The facility is owned by St Clair Power LP, a joint venture between Invenergy and the hedge fund Stark Investments, and operated by Invenergy Services Canada.The plant was built in response to the Government of Ontario's 2004 initiative to produce lower-emission electricity, and has a 20-year contract from the Ontario Power Authority to provide electricity to the provincial power grid. The plant was partially built from equipment originally intended four-unit CCGT in Nelson Township, IL.

CFGX-FM is a Canadian radio station, which broadcasts at 99.9 FM in Sarnia, Ontario. The station broadcasts an adult contemporary format with the brand name The Fox. Its main competitors are WGRT and WBTI. CFGX-FM can be heard in the eastern parts of Michigan as far west as Lapeer and well into the Thumb region, and used to have a listenable signal in much of Macomb County before Detroit's WCHB (now WMUZ) signed on an FM translator at 99.9 (which now relays WDMK-HD2). The station can be heard as far east as Strathroy (farther east, co-channel CHJX-FM in London interferes) and Chatham to the south. The station was launched with the callsign CJFI on September 14, 1981 by Rogers Communications, the owner of the city's existing CKJD. CJFI featured easy listening music with some simulcasting of Top 40-formatted CKJD overnights. The station adopted its current call sign and format on February 26, 1988. CKJD and CJFI were sold to Maclean-Hunter subsidiary Blue Water Broadcasting on July 16, 1987. When Rogers acquired Maclean-Hunter on December 19, 1994, the Blue Water stations were spun off to Blackburn Radio. In July 2008, the station applied to increase power. That application was approved on September 3, 2008.

The St. Clair Inn is a hotel located at 500 North Riverside Avenue in St. Clair, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

Port Huron station is an Amtrak station in Port Huron, Michigan, and the eastern terminus of the Blue Water. The current station opened in 1979. It sits six blocks west of the St. Clair Tunnel, but the passenger tracks now terminate here and only freight tracks bypass the station and continue to Canada. Port Huron is the division point between the Flint Subdivision to Battle Creek, Michigan, and the Strathroy Subdivision to London, Ontario. The station was formerly served by the International Limited, which was operated jointly by Via Rail and Amtrak between Chicago and Toronto. The service, which had started in 1982, was discontinued in 2004. The Port Huron station had contained a United States Immigration Office while it served the International Limited.
