Axelson Point is a small cape along the shore of the East Bay in Navarre, Florida. The point is sometimes mistakenly called Diana's Point by local residents, though the origin of this is unclear.The point is named after the Axelson Family, one of the first families permanently residing in Navarre. The point only extends less than a hundred meters into the bay. The Axelsons operated a shipyard on the point, using lumber from Miller Point across the bay.The point is historically significant, not only due to it being the home of the previously mentioned Axelson family, but also due to it being one of the first landing spots for exploration in the area. Some of the Pensacola homes of the original Axelson family still stand today; however, none of the homes on Axelson Point are from the original family.Axelson Point, together with Miller Point, make up the mouth of East Lagoon, the river-like eastern reaches of East Bay.

Tom King Bayou is a small, but locally important, bayou and creek in Navarre, Florida. The mouth of the bayou opens onto East Bay near Axelson Point and Robledal.The bayou acts as a major runoff for stormwaters and is critical to the local environment and for local homes for this purpose.

Tom King Bayou Bridge is the locally used name for the East Bay Boulevard bridge crossing at Tom King Bayou. The bayou is crossed by East Bay Boulevard near the entrance of the bayou.

Holley is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Santa Rosa County, Florida, United States. Its population was 2,484 as of the 2020 census. Florida State Road 87 passes through the community. For almost all cases, the community of Holley, is considered to be a neighborhood or character area of the larger community of Navarre, Florida. This includes the community of Holley being included in the federally designated Holley-Navarre Census County Division, being served by the Holley-Navarre Fire District and Holley-Navarre Water System, and being included in the county election precinct exclusively designated for Navarre. Major neighborhoods in Holley include Holley Village, Muddy Ford, Harper, and Miller Point.

Gable Lake is a small lake located in Navarre, Florida. The lake is primarily fed by a number of small unnamed creeks on the south shore. Subsequently, the lake outflows into the East Bay River and the East Bay via a small unnamed stream. Due to the former lack of a GNIS entry on the body of water, the name of the lake was not official until a recent ruling by the United States Board on Geographic Names.Gable Lake is presumed to be named after John Everett Gable and Katherine Gable, who lived in the area during the 1980s and 90s.

Naval Outlying Landing Field (NOLF) Holley was a naval outlying landing field of the larger Naval Air Station Whiting Field located within the city limits of the community of Navarre, Florida. The two runways were each 3,600 feet (1,100 meters) long. The runways were restricted to limited military use only; however, in 2017, the Gulf Power company was authorized to build a solar power plant on the facility grounds. The plant now provides power for some 18,000 homes, making it one of the largest solar fields in the region. The solar panels completely cover what were once the runways.

Naval Outlying Landing Field Choctaw (IATA: NFJ, ICAO: KNFJ, FAA LID: NFJ) is the United States Navy's designation for an auxiliary airfield that was originally constructed during World War II as Eglin Field (now Eglin Air Force Base) Auxiliary Field # 10. It is located 16.6 miles northeast of Pensacola, Florida.

The East Bay River (also called the East River and historically known as The River Jordan or the Chester River) in Florida is a 15-mile-long (24 km) river located in Santa Rosa and Okaloosa counties. It flows from east to west, forming near Hurlburt Field, and empties into the eastern portion of East Bay (Florida) near the towns Holley and Navarre. The river forms part of the southern boundary of Eglin Air Force Base. There is one public boat launch ramp located on the river, along State Road 87 in Holley, near the outlet into Pensacola Bay.Named tributaries include Alligator Creek, and Panther Creek.The average discharge rate is 40 cubic feet per second.

Williams Creek is a creek in Navarre, Florida. The creek is a tributary body of water to the Santa Rosa Sound. In recent time, the creek has been a subject of advocacy and controversy for the cleaning of local waterways and the preventing of sewage effluent from entering those same waterways.The creek is named after the Williams Family, who lived in near the creek in the early to mid 19th century.

Navarre High School is one of six public high schools in the Santa Rosa County School District located in Navarre, Florida. It was established in 1996 and currently enrolls 2,309 students.
