The Navarre Library is the community library of Navarre, Florida. The library is part of the Santa Rosa County Library System based out of Milton, Florida.The branch is the primary provider of library services and book lending in Navarre, the third-largest community in the Florida Panhandle, only smaller than Pensacola and Tallahassee.

Navarre is a census-designated place and unincorporated community in Santa Rosa County in the northwest Florida Panhandle. It is a major bedroom community for mostly U.S. military personnel, federal civil servants, local population, retirees and defense contractors. Due to Navarre Beach and the 4 miles (6.4 km) of beach front on the Gulf of Mexico thereof, as well as several miles of beaches within the Navarre Beach Marine Park and the Gulf Islands National Seashore, it has a small, but rapidly growing community of nature enthusiasts and tourists. Navarre has grown from being a small town of around 1,500 in 1970 to a town with a population estimated at 43,540 as of 2020, if including both the Navarre and Navarre Beach Census Designated Places.Navarre is about 25 miles (40 km) east of Pensacola and about 15 miles (24 km) west of Fort Walton Beach. The community is roughly centered on the junction of U.S. Route 98 and State Road 87. It is part of the Pensacola–Ferry Pass–Brent Metropolitan Statistical Area (more commonly referred to as the Pensacola Metro Area), and is the second largest community in the metropolitan area, according to a study. Navarre is the third-largest community in the Florida Panhandle.Navarre is the principal community of the census-defined Navarre-Miramar Beach-Destin Urbanized Area. The community is known for the natural environment, swimming, picnic spots, and its beach.

Navarre Beach Marine Park is a beach park run by the county commission of Santa Rosa County, located on Santa Rosa Island between Eglin Air Force Base property and the residential and commercial area of Navarre Beach. The address is 8704 Gulf Boulevard, Navarre, FL 32566.

Naval Outlying Landing Field (NOLF) Holley was a naval outlying landing field of the larger Naval Air Station Whiting Field located within the city limits of the community of Navarre, Florida. The two runways were each 3,600 feet (1,100 meters) long. The runways were restricted to limited military use only; however, in 2017, the Gulf Power company was authorized to build a solar power plant on the facility grounds. The plant now provides power for some 18,000 homes, making it one of the largest solar fields in the region. The solar panels completely cover what were once the runways.

The Navarre Beach Fishing Pier is a record-holding fishing pier in Navarre, Florida. At 1,545 feet long, the pier is the longest of its kind in the state. It is the 15th longest public pier of any kind in the United States.

The Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center is a sea turtle conservation and education center located in Navarre, Florida. Specifically, it is located within the Navarre Beach Marine Park.The facility opened in 2013, using the building of an old ranger station that had been used by the state park service when the marine park was still a state park.The Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center (NBSTCC) is a working conservation and education center open to the public on Navarre Beach, Florida. Founded in 2013 through grassroots community involvement, the NBSTCC's mission is to conserve and protect threatened and endangered sea turtles through community education and partnered research. As a predominately volunteer-run organization, NBSTCC operates a 2,010-square foot conservation and education center open to the public year-round. Through the doors of the NBSTCC, guests enter the main pool exhibit featuring a 15,000-gallon saltwater pool, home to Sweet Pea, a non-releasable green sea turtle, and Ambassador-in-residence of the NBSTCC. For many guests, Sweet Pea is the first sea turtle they have seen, and her story tells of the dangers and promise that human choices have on this imperiled species.The center is a member of the global non-profit Species360 that seeks to better share information pertinent to the saving of endangered species, such as sea turtles.The center is popular among eco-tourists visiting the area and is commonly cited as one of the best attractions in Navarre. The center sees 65,000 visitors annually.

Santa Rosa Island is a 40-mile (64 km) barrier island located in the U.S. state of Florida, thirty miles (50 km) east of the Alabama state border. The communities of Pensacola Beach, Navarre Beach, and Okaloosa Island are located on the island. On the northern side of the island, are Pensacola Bay on the west (see map) and Choctawhatchee Bay on the east, joined through Santa Rosa Sound. Santa Rosa Island has weathered numerous hurricanes and other tropical cyclones, including the hurricane of September 1559, Hurricane Erin and Hurricane Opal (both in 1995), Hurricane Ivan (2004), Hurricane Dennis (2005), Tropical Storm Claudette (2009), and the remnants of Hurricane Ida (2009). Parts of the island are protected from development within the Gulf Islands National Seashore.

Navarre High School is one of six public high schools in the Santa Rosa County School District located in Navarre, Florida. It was established in 1996 and currently enrolls 2,309 students.

Dean Creek is a creek primarily on Eglin Air Force Base, near Holley and Navarre, Florida.

Gable Lake is a small lake located in Navarre, Florida. The lake is primarily fed by a number of small unnamed creeks on the south shore. Subsequently, the lake outflows into the East Bay River and the East Bay via a small unnamed stream. Due to the former lack of a GNIS entry on the body of water, the name of the lake was not official until a recent ruling by the United States Board on Geographic Names.Gable Lake is presumed to be named after John Everett Gable and Katherine Gable, who lived in the area during the 1980s and 90s.

The Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge is a wildlife sanctuary and rehabilitation center in Navarre, Florida.

The East Bay River (also called the East River and historically known as The River Jordan or the Chester River) in Florida is a 15-mile-long (24 km) river located in Santa Rosa and Okaloosa counties. It flows from east to west, forming near Hurlburt Field, and empties into the eastern portion of East Bay (Florida) near the towns Holley and Navarre. The river forms part of the southern boundary of Eglin Air Force Base. There is one public boat launch ramp located on the river, along State Road 87 in Holley, near the outlet into Pensacola Bay.Named tributaries include Alligator Creek, and Panther Creek.The average discharge rate is 40 cubic feet per second.
