Bang Sue (Thai: บางซื่อ, pronounced [bāːŋ sɯ̂ː]) is a khwaeng (subdistrict) of Bang Sue District, in Bangkok, Thailand. In 2020, it had a total population of 79,405 people.

Bang Pho (Thai: บางโพ, pronounced [bāːŋ pʰōː]) is a neighbourhood in Bangkok. It roughly occupies the area of the sub-district of Bang Sue in Bang Sue district, and four-way intersection in the same name. Well known as centre for various types of wood products, especially on Sai Mai road. Nowadays, the surrounding neighbourhood is also studded with many condominiums.

Wat Soi Thong (Thai: วัดสร้อยทอง) is a third-classed royal Buddhist temple in Bangkok. The monastery located by Chao Phraya River near Rama VI Bridge, Rama VII Bridge and Yothinburana School. It was built around 1851, assuming that built by the descendants of Chao Phraya Si Phiphat (Phae Bunnag) during King Rama VI's reign. The principal Buddha image named Luang Pho Luea (หลวงพ่อเหลือ) is cast-brass made of left-over materials from the other Buddha images cast in 1902 with the cooperation of one millionaire and the local people. Its name "Wat Soi Thong" literally translated as "temple of golden necklace". It is said that this temple was originally called "Wat Son Thong" (temple of hidden gold) according to folklore titled "Legend of Lord Uthong" about the legendary king Lord Uthong (not King Uthong of Ayutthaya), who escape the war (some said escape from cholera) and brought with him a lot of gold and there was a reason to hide these golds here. Inside the head of principal Buddha image, the relics of the five arhats are contained. In 1941 during World War II, as the temple was located on a strategic site, it was severely damaged by the bombs. However, Luang Pho Luea was unscathed and therefore received the faith from the people since then. The story of this miracle has been told continuously until the present day. An image of Sīvali is placed at the entrance to the temple to worship. Within the temple grounds is also home to a Bangkok Local Museum, Bang Sue District. Behind the temple by Chao Phraya River, is also the location of the pier of the Chao Phraya Express Boat that operates from Wat Ratcha Singkhorn in downtown Bangkok to Nonthaburi province, with designated pier number N23. The striking clock tower is also located here. Since Wat Soi Thong is located by Chao Phraya River in the phase it joins with canal Khlong Bang Son, thus causing the river in this area to be abundant with iridescent shark. Visitors can feed them with bread or fish food including being able to release fish for merit making as well. Two famous preacher monks Phra Maha Paiwan Warawanno and Phra Maha Somphong Rattanawangso also lived in this temple.

Wat Kaew Fah Chulamanee (Thai: วัดแก้วฟ้าจุฬามณี) is an ancient Thai Buddhist temple in Bangkok. It can be considered as another house of worship next to the Chao Phraya river.

Rama VI Bridge (Thai: สะพานพระราม 6, RTGS: Saphan Phra Ram Hok, pronounced [sā.pʰāːn pʰráʔ rāːm hòk]) is a railway bridge over the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok, in Thailand, connecting the districts Bang Sue and Bang Phlat.

Kiakkai or Kiak Kai (Thai: เกียกกาย, pronounced [kìa̯k.kāːj]) is an intersection and neighbourhood in Bangkok's Thanon Nakhon Chai Si Subdistrict, Dusit District. The term Kiakkai is an old Thai word meaning "Provisions Department" (comparable to the current Quartermaster Department). The neighborhood is the site of many Royal Thai Army (RTA) bases: the 1st Cavalry Regiment, King's Guard (กรมทหารม้าที่ 1 รักษาพระองค์); 1st Field Artillery Battalion, King's Guard (กรมทหารปืนใหญ่ที่ 1 รักษาพระองค์); 4th Cavalry Division King's Guard (กองพันทหารม้าที่ 4 รักษาพระองค์); and Military Armoured Vehicle Radio Station (สถานีวิทยุยานเกราะ). Often, these units have supported coups such as the Siamese revolution of 1932, the Thammasat University massacre, the 1981 April rebellion, and the September 9th rebellion. Kiakkai is home to the Sappaya-Sapasathan, the current Parliament House of Thailand. It is built on the site of the Yothinburana School. There is a megaproject to build a bridge across the Chao Phraya River, 5.9 km (about 3 mi) long, to Charan Sanitwong Road in Thonburi's Bang Phlat District.

Yothinburana School (Thai: โรงเรียนโยธินบูรณะ) is a publicly funded secondary school with nearly 4,000 students in Bangkok, Thailand under the jurisdiction of the General Education Department of Ministry of Education. It is in the Bang Sue District of Bangkok, having moved from the Dusit District in 2012.

Tao Pun (Thai: เตาปูน, lit. 'cement kiln', also spelled Tao Poon) is a neighbourhood in Bangkok's Bang Sue district. It is so named after the country's first cement factory, established in 1913 by the Siam Cement Company, whose corporate headquarters are still located here, adjacent Bang Sue Junction railway station on its west side. Today, the name most specifically refers to the area around Tao Pun Junction, where Krung Thep–Nonthaburi Road meets Pracharat Sai Song Road beneath the elevated Tao Poon MRT station, which connects the Blue Line and Purple Line.

Rama VII Bridge (Thai: สะพานพระราม 7, RTGS: Saphan Phra Ram Chet, pronounced [sā.pʰāːn pʰráʔ rāːm t͡ɕèt]) is a bridge over the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok and Nonthaburi, in Thailand, connecting the Bang Sue District and Bang Phlat District. The roadway is in a dual carriageway configuration, with 3 lanes in each direction. The bridge was named in honour of King Prajadhipok. The bridge was constructed to ease the increase in road traffic volumes on the adjacent Rama VI bridge.

Tao Poon station (Thai: สถานีเตาปูน, RTGS: Sathani Tao Pun, pronounced [sā.tʰǎː.nīː tāw pūːn]) is a MRT station in Bangkok, located on Tao Pun Junction, Bang Sue District, Bangkok. It is an interchange station of the Blue Line and Purple Line. It is also currently a terminal station for Purple line.

Sappaya-Sapasathan (Thai: สัปปายะสภาสถาน, RTGS: Sappayasaphasathan, pronounced [sàp.pāː.já(ʔ).sā.pʰāː.sā.tʰǎːn]) is the third and current meeting place of the National Assembly of Thailand, the bicameral legislative branch of the Government of Thailand. It is located on the left bank of the Chao Phraya River in Kiakkai neighbourhood of the Dusit District. It is the world's largest parliament building with 424,000 m2 of floor space.

Yanhee International Hospital (Thai: โรงพยาบาลยันฮี [roːŋpʰájaːbaːn jənhiː], YAHN-hee) is a multi-service general hospital in Bangkok, Thailand, that specializes in a range of medical and cosmetic services. Yanhee comprises a 15-story hospital building with a 400-bed capacity, 150 full-time doctors, 120 part-time health professionals, and 800 nurses. Additionally, Yanhee operates 95 outpatient examination rooms, 12 major and 30 minor operating rooms, an 18-bed Intensive Care Unit, emergency rooms, delivery rooms, a diagnostic laboratory and a nursery.
