Kiakkai or Kiak Kai (Thai: เกียกกาย, pronounced [kìa̯k.kāːj]) is an intersection and neighbourhood in Bangkok's Thanon Nakhon Chai Si Subdistrict, Dusit District. The term Kiakkai is an old Thai word meaning "Provisions Department" (comparable to the current Quartermaster Department). The neighborhood is the site of many Royal Thai Army (RTA) bases: the 1st Cavalry Regiment, King's Guard (กรมทหารม้าที่ 1 รักษาพระองค์); 1st Field Artillery Battalion, King's Guard (กรมทหารปืนใหญ่ที่ 1 รักษาพระองค์); 4th Cavalry Division King's Guard (กองพันทหารม้าที่ 4 รักษาพระองค์); and Military Armoured Vehicle Radio Station (สถานีวิทยุยานเกราะ). Often, these units have supported coups such as the Siamese revolution of 1932, the Thammasat University massacre, the 1981 April rebellion, and the September 9th rebellion. Kiakkai is home to the Sappaya-Sapasathan, the current Parliament House of Thailand. It is built on the site of the Yothinburana School. There is a megaproject to build a bridge across the Chao Phraya River, 5.9 km (about 3 mi) long, to Charan Sanitwong Road in Thonburi's Bang Phlat District.

Wat Kaew Fah Chulamanee (Thai: วัดแก้วฟ้าจุฬามณี) is an ancient Thai Buddhist temple in Bangkok. It can be considered as another house of worship next to the Chao Phraya river.

Sappaya-Sapasathan (Thai: สัปปายะสภาสถาน, RTGS: Sappayasaphasathan, pronounced [sàp.pāː.já(ʔ).sā.pʰāː.sā.tʰǎːn]) is the third and current meeting place of the National Assembly of Thailand, the bicameral legislative branch of the Government of Thailand. It is located on the left bank of the Chao Phraya River in Kiakkai neighbourhood of the Dusit District. It is the world's largest parliament building with 424,000 m2 of floor space.

Yanhee International Hospital (Thai: โรงพยาบาลยันฮี [roːŋpʰájaːbaːn jənhiː], YAHN-hee) is a multi-service general hospital in Bangkok, Thailand, that specializes in a range of medical and cosmetic services. Yanhee comprises a 15-story hospital building with a 400-bed capacity, 150 full-time doctors, 120 part-time health professionals, and 800 nurses. Additionally, Yanhee operates 95 outpatient examination rooms, 12 major and 30 minor operating rooms, an 18-bed Intensive Care Unit, emergency rooms, delivery rooms, a diagnostic laboratory and a nursery.

Bang Krabue (Thai: บางกระบือ, pronounced [bāːŋ krā.bɯ̄ː]) is an intersection and neighbourhood in Bangkok's Thanon Nakhon Chai Si sub-district, Dusit district.

Bang Pho station (Thai: สถานีบางโพ), is an elevated railway station on MRT Blue Line. The station opened on 4 December 2019. The station is one of the nine stations of phase 3 of MRT Blue Line. It has a connection to the Chao Phraya Express Boat at Bang Pho Pier.

Bang Sue (Thai: บางซื่อ, pronounced [bāːŋ sɯ̂ː]) is a khwaeng (subdistrict) of Bang Sue District, in Bangkok, Thailand. In 2020, it had a total population of 79,405 people.

Bang Pho (Thai: บางโพ, pronounced [bāːŋ pʰōː]) is a neighbourhood in Bangkok. It roughly occupies the area of the sub-district of Bang Sue in Bang Sue district, and four-way intersection in the same name. Well known as centre for various types of wood products, especially on Sai Mai road. Nowadays, the surrounding neighbourhood is also studded with many condominiums.

Tao Pun (Thai: เตาปูน, lit. 'cement kiln', also spelled Tao Poon) is a neighbourhood in Bangkok's Bang Sue district. It is so named after the country's first cement factory, established in 1913 by the Siam Cement Company, whose corporate headquarters are still located here, adjacent Bang Sue Junction railway station on its west side. Today, the name most specifically refers to the area around Tao Pun Junction, where Krung Thep–Nonthaburi Road meets Pracharat Sai Song Road beneath the elevated Tao Poon MRT station, which connects the Blue Line and Purple Line.

Tao Poon station (Thai: สถานีเตาปูน, RTGS: Sathani Tao Pun, pronounced [sā.tʰǎː.nīː tāw pūːn]) is a MRT station in Bangkok, located on Tao Pun Junction, Bang Sue District, Bangkok. It is an interchange station of the Blue Line and Purple Line. It is also currently a terminal station for Purple line.

Nakhon Chai Si Road (Thai: ถนนนครไชยศรี; pronounced [tʰā.nǒn ná(ʔ).kʰɔ̄ːn t͡ɕʰāj sǐː]) is a road in Bangkok. Its name is origin of Thanon Nakhon Chai Si subdistrict of Dusit district, since it runs through the area. It starts from Rama VI road, passing Rama V, Pichai, Nakhon Ratchasima, Samsen roads, then cuts across Si Yan intersection, as far as ends at the Chao Phraya river at the Payap pier. The total distance is 3.185 km (round about one mi).Previously, it was named "Rachawat road" (ถนนราชวัตร). Its name was derived from a kind of Chinese porcelain with a fence-like pattern, which was a collector's item in those days. It was a road that King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) graciously ordered to be constructed and it was also one of the roads in the group of "Amphoe (district) Dusit Roads Project" that was jointly started with the construction of Suan Dusit Palace in 1898 itself was blocking the pathway of the people that resided within that area, so for the convenience of transportation and communications for the public, the king graciously ordered that Ratchawat road was to be built around Suan Dusit Palace and also the convenience of the travelling between the northern outer suburb and inner capital, and between Samsen railway station and up till the Chao Phraya river. Later on February 16, 1919, which corresponds to the King Vajiravudh (Rama VI)'s reign, he graciously ordered that the name of Ratchawat road that started from the Chao Phraya river to Prathat Thong road (now Rama VI road) to be changed as "Nakhon Chai Si road" in honour of Prince Chirapravati Voradej, Prince of Nakhon Chai Si, one of sons of King Chulalongkorn and half brother of King Vajiravudh, who considered as "Father of the Thai Army". Although it is short, Nakhon Chai Si road runs through important places, for example Rachawat bridge, a bridge over Khlong Prem Prachakon canal near the Dusit district office, Wat Amphawan, Wat Sawatwaree Simaram, Rachawat and Si Yan markets etc. In addition, the area that this road runs through is also known as "Rachawat" according its former name.
