On June 5, 1992, President Soeharto along with Mrs. Tien Soeharto inaugurated the elevated railway by taking the KRL from Gambir to Jakarta Kota Station.

Toko Kompak is a historic landmark in Pasar Baru, Jakarta, Indonesia. It was the residence of Tio Tek Ho, Majoor der Chinezen (1896-1908), who was the penultimate head of the Chinese community in colonial Jakarta. The building was probably built in the first half of the nineteenth century in a combination of Chinese, European and native Indonesian styles of architecture. At some point in the late colonial era, the residence was leased out and converted into a commercial store, called Sin Siong Bouw. After Independence in 1945, the name of the store was changed to Kompak.

Juanda station is connected to a TransJakarta bus station and the Istiqlal Mosque by a pedestrian bridge.

The Main Post and Telegraph Office, formerly Weltevreden Postkantoor and Filateli Jakarta is now Pos Bloc, it is a historic building in Weltevreden, Jakarta, Indonesia. It was designed by J van Hoytema and built in 1913. It is located next to St. Ursula Catholic School and near the Jakarta Cathedral and Istiqlal Mosque (Independence Mosque).

Toko Tio Tek Hong (Indonesian for 'Tio Tek Hong's Store') was one of the earliest modern department stores in colonial Indonesia, founded in 1902 by the prominent businessman Tio Tek Hong (1877–1965).Its former premises are now a colonial landmark in Jakarta, capital of Indonesia. The building is located at the junction where the river Ciliwung flows into the canal that channels flood water to Ancol Marina. It has been renovated recently.
