As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 497 and an area of 15.4 square kilometres (5.9 sq mi).Prelà borders the following municipalities: Borgomaro, Carpasio, Dolcedo, Montalto Ligure, and Vasia.

The communal seat, Piazza, is located in the lower valley of the Prino stream. The other main centers are Isolalunga, Costa Carnara, Bellissimi and Lecchiore. Dolcedo borders the following municipalities: Badalucco, Civezza, Imperia, Montalto Ligure, Pietrabruna, Prelà, Taggia, and Vasia.

Imperia railway station (Italian: Stazione di Imperia) is a railway station serving the city of Imperia, in Liguria, northwestern Italy. The station is located on the Genoa–Ventimiglia railway and was opened on 11 December 2016. The train services are operated by Trenitalia and Thello.

Civezza (çivèssa in Ligurian) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Imperia in the Italian region Liguria, located about 127 kilometres (79 mi) southwest of Genoa and about 7 kilometres (4 mi) west of Imperia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 557 and an area of 3.8 square kilometres (1.5 sq mi).The village is located on the top of a hill, like many others villages of the riviera. The seaside is just 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) away. The French border is 58 kilometres (36 mi) away, and the Principality of Monaco is 69 kilometres (43 mi). The closest big city is the French city of Nice, 83 kilometres (52 mi) west of Civezza, while the regional capital Genova is 127 kilometres (79 mi) east of the village. Civezza borders the following municipalities: Cipressa, Dolcedo, Imperia, Pietrabruna, and San Lorenzo al Mare. The village was founded in the 11th century: a well-known legend says its birth is due to the decision of three noble families (the Riccas, the Dolcas and the Arrigos) to settle here after being exiled from Venice, because of political contrasts with the city's doge. Civezza is a medieval village, with five ancient towers built in the 16th century to defend its territory against saracens pirates. The patron saint is Saint Mark the Evangelist, and he is celebrated on April, 25th. The name of the patron saint is also the name of Civezza's main church (San Marco Evangelista). There are also five smaller churches in Civezza: 'san Giovanni', 'san Rocco', 'san Sebastiano', 'san Salvatore' and 'Madonna delle Grazie'. Weather is warm but windy in all seasons, and rainfalls are rare. There is a traditional production of olive oil and wine. Despite the small size of the village, in Civezza there are: a post office, two alimentari shops, two bars, three agritourism locations, a supermarket, a restaurant, a pharmacy, an inn. There's also a kindergarten and a primary school. At least four times per day a public bus service connects Civezza to the provincial capital Imperia and San Lorenzo al Mare. Languages spoken are Italian and Ligurian, the last one mainly by the elderly. French is also widely understood.

Imperia Oneglia railway station (Italian: Stazione di Imperia Oneglia) served the city of Imperia, in the Liguria region, northwestern Italy. Opened in 1872, it formed part of the Genoa–Ventimiglia railway, and was situated just over two thirds along the way from Genoa towards Ventimiglia. It was replaced on 11 December 2016, along with Imperia's other former railway station, Imperia Porto Maurizio, 2.2 kilometres (1.4 mi) to the west, by a new station, simply named Imperia, situated on a new double-track line replacing the old coastal route.

Imperia Porto Maurizio railway station (Italian: Stazione di Imperia Porto Maurizio) was one of two stations serving the city and comune of Imperia, in Liguria, northwestern Italy. Opened in 1872, it formed part of the Genoa–Ventimiglia railway, and was situated just over two thirds along the way from Genoa towards Ventimiglia. It was replaced on 11 December 2016, along with Imperia's other former railway station, Imperia Oneglia, 2.2 kilometres (1.4 mi) to the east, by a new inland station, simply named Imperia, situated on a new double-track line replacing the old coastal route.The station was managed by Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI), however, the commercial area of the passenger building was managed by Centostazioni. Train services to and from the station were operated by Trenitalia. Each of these companies is a subsidiary of Ferrovie dello Stato (FS), Italy's state-owned rail company.

Diano Castello (Ligurian: Dian Castello) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Imperia in the Italian region Liguria, located about 90 kilometres (56 mi) southwest of Genoa and about 5 kilometres (3 mi) northeast of Imperia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,061 and an area of 6.0 square kilometres (2.3 sq mi).Diano Castello borders the following municipalities: Diano Arentino, Diano Marina, Diano San Pietro, Imperia, and San Bartolomeo al Mare. The hills surrounding the village are covered with olive groves and with vineyards that produce Vermentino, a white wine. It is one of I Borghi più belli d'Italia ("The most beautiful villages of Italy").
