Monte Grammondo is a mountain in Liguria, northern Italy, part of the Alps.

As of 31 December 2014, it had a population of 2,078 and an area of 20.2 square kilometres (7.8 sq mi) Dolceacqua borders the following municipalities of Airole, Apricale, Breil-sur-Roya (France), Camporosso, Isolabona, Perinaldo, Rocchetta Nervina, San Biagio della Cima, and Ventimiglia. Dolceacqua is the location of the Pinacoteca Giovanni Morscio, a museum dedicated to the works of local painter Morscio (1887–1972) and other 20th-century Italian and French artists. It is also known for its medieval bridge, which was painted by Claude Monet.

The Barbaira is a 15.83-kilometre (9.84 mi) stream of Liguria (Italy); it is the main tributary of the Nervia.

Grimaldi is a frazione of 281 inhabitants in the municipality of Ventimiglia, in the province of Imperia. It is located near the French border of Ponte San Luigi. The oldest inhabited centre, located at 220 m, takes the name of Grimaldi Superiore, to distinguish it from the houses built along the State Road 1 (SS1) Aurelia, which makes up Grimaldi Inferiore.

It is home to the Giardini Botanici Hanbury, or Hanbury botanical gardens, created in the 19th century by Sir Thomas Hanbury.

Mirazur is a restaurant in Menton, France rated with three stars by the Michelin Guide.The restaurant is run by Argentine chef Mauro Colagreco, who previously worked with Bernard Loiseau, Alain Passard, Alain Ducasse and Guy Martin. He opened Mirazur in 2006 at the age of 29. He was awarded his first Michelin star within a year, followed by the second star in 2012. In 2019, Colagreco became the first chef not born in France to be awarded three stars in the French edition of the Guide Michelin.

Isolabona (Ligurian: L'Isora) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Imperia in the Italian region Liguria, located about 120 kilometres (75 mi) southwest of Genoa and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) west of Imperia. As of 2011, it had a population of 716, spread between 333 families throughout an area of 12.4 square kilometres (4.8 sq mi).Isolabona shares borders the following municipalities: Apricale, Castelvittorio, Dolceacqua, Pigna and Rocchetta Nervina.
