The Chambers Mansion is a historic house that was built in 1887, and is located at 2220 Sacramento Street in the Pacific Heights neighborhood of San Francisco, California. In 2010, CBS News declared the Chambers Mansion one of the "scariest haunted houses" in the United States, based on stories of its dark history.The house is listed as one of the San Francisco Designated Landmark, since October 5, 1980.

Lafayette Park is an 11.49 acres (4.65 ha) park in San Francisco, California, United States. Originally created in 1936, it is located in the neighborhood of Pacific Heights between the streets of Washington, Sacramento, Gough, and Laguna. Located on a hill, the park offers views of many areas, including the city's Marina district, Alcatraz Island and the San Francisco Bay, Buena Vista Park, and Twin Peaks. In addition to both open and treed green spaces, the park includes two tennis courts, a children's playground, an off-leash dog area, restroom facilities, and a picnic area.

Sutter Health California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC) is a general medical/surgical and teaching hospital in San Francisco, California. It was created by a merger of some of the city's longest established hospitals and currently operates three acute care campuses.Its primary campuses in San Francisco are the Van Ness Campus in The Tenderloin, the Davies Campus in Duboce Triangle, and the Mission Bernal Campus in the Mission District. While it is a privately funded entity, CPMC has strong academic ties to the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), Stanford University Medical Center as well as the Geisel School of Medicine of Dartmouth College.

Arrillaga Musical College was a music college in San Francisco. The school was established and directed by pianist Santiago Arrillaga Ansola, a Basque immigrant. After his death it was run by his son Vincent. Fernando Michelena (1858–1921), a Venezuelan born tenor and the father of Vera Michelena and Beatriz Michelena, also served as its president. It was located at 2315 Jackson Street.Arrillaga came to San Francisco in 1875. San Francisco developed a significant Basque presence with hotels and musical venues.Alumni included Howard E. Couper A.M.The Musical Courier reported on performances at the 1918 commencement. A separate writeup in the same issue described the school as having its own building, an "imposing faculty", and many pupils.

Calvary Presbyterian Church is a historic Presbyterian church in San Francisco, California located in Pacific Heights at the corner of Fillmore Street and Jackson Street. The present building was built in 1901 and features Late 19th And 20th Century Revival architecture and an Edwardian style. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

Convent of the Sacred Heart High School is a private, independent high school in the city of San Francisco, rooted in the Catholic tradition. It is located at 2222 Broadway. The school offers its students the rigorous International Baccalaureate program (IB) as well as an array of Advanced Placement courses (AP). As of 2019, the annual tuition for grades 9–12 is $45,900. Admission is selective and approximately 30% of the student body receives some form of financial aid. The school was originally founded by Mother Mary Keating on August 16, 1887 as the first Schools of the Sacred Heart Academy west of the Rockies. The first year enrolled 30 young women operating in two rented Victorians at the corner of Bush and Octavia. The founding organization is known as the Schools of the Sacred Heart, San Francisco. In 1888, they purchased a larger building at Franklin and Ellis for $10 in gold coin. They stayed there until the 1906 Earthquake when the building was heavily damaged. Renting another Victorian at the corner of Washington and Octavia, they were one of the first institutions to reopen after the earthquake. In 1909, the school purchased the Van Arsdale house on Jackson Street where the school remained until 1939. In June 1939, Maud Lee Flood donated the home she had shared with her deceased husband at 2222 Broadway. During WWII, boys were allowed to join the lower school. By 1948 they needed more room to expand, they courted a deal to purchase the Grant house for $150,000, well below market value. The lower school, grades 1-8 split to the new location, while the upper school remained at the Flood Mansion. But what to do with the boys? In 1956, they purchased the Hammond House for $165,000 to open Stuart Hall for Boys.The school now operates in partnership with the all boy's Stuart Hall High School located at 1715 Octavia Street. Typically the first two years, freshmen and sophomore year, are spent single sex but then become co-ed by junior year and higher level courses. The unique partnership allows both schools to operate both single-sex and coeducational classes. Coed classes are held on both campuses and student shuttle buses operate between the two. The partnership is referred to as Convent & Stuart Hall.
