The Zbigniew Ścibor-Rylski Monument is a monument in the Marshal Edward Rydz-Śmigły Park in Warsaw, Poland. It is dedicated to Zbigniew Ścibor-Rylski, officer of the Polish Armed Forces, who fought in the Warsaw Uprising during the World War II. It was designed by Marcin Nowicki, and unvailed on 2 August 2019.

The Asia and Pacific Museum, in Warsaw, Poland, was founded in 1973 from a private collection of Oriental art amassed by Andrzej Wawrzyniak, sailor, diplomat, and connoisseur–collector of Oriental art. After returning to Poland, he donated his collection, numbering over 3,000 objects, to Poland. Thus the Museum of the Nusantara Archipelago was created in Warsaw in 1973. In 1973 the Museum, continually enhanced with objects from oadditional regions of the world, became the Asia and Pacific Museum, with Wawrzyniak as its lifetime director and chief curator. The Museum's holdings include over 20,000 objects from Asia, Australia, and Oceania.

The Symonowicz Palace, also known as the Szymonowicz Palace, and Szymonowicz House, is a baroque palace in the city of Warsaw, Poland, located at 37 Solec Street.

The Science Picnic is Europe's largest outdoor science-popularization event organized jointly by Polish Radio and the Copernicus Science Centre. It has been held every year since 1997. A wide range of research fields are represented at the Picnic, including the hard, natural, and social sciences together with the humanities. Research and teaching institutions from Poland and abroad reveal here behind-the-scenes aspects of their work and present science in ways accessible to visitors of various ages, using hands-on experiments and interactive exhibits. The Science Picnic was commended by the European Commission in 2005 as one of 10 model European projects in the "Science and Society" field. The event has served as the inspiration for many other popular science initiatives, including the Copernicus Science Centre in Warsaw.

Janina Porazińska Park is an urban park in Warsaw, Poland. It is located in the neighbourhood of Solec in the Downtown district, between Kruczkowskiego, Solec, and Ludna Streets, and Trzeciego Maja Avenue. The park was opened in 2011.

The Chopin University of Music (Polish: Uniwersytet Muzyczny Fryderyka Chopina, UMFC) is a musical conservatorium and academy located in central Warsaw, Poland. It is the oldest and largest music school in Poland, and one of the largest in Europe.

The Poniatowski Bridge (Polish: Most Poniatowskiego) is a bridge in Warsaw, Poland. Originally built between 1904 and 1914, it was damaged in each World War and rebuilt after each. It spans the Vistula River, connecting Warsaw's Powiśle and Praga districts. Its viaduct is an extension of Jerusalem Avenue, a principal Warsaw thoroughfare.

The Central Sports Centre Torwar (formerly known as Hala Torwar, commonly referred to as the Arena COS Torwar) is an indoor arena in Warsaw, Poland. It opened in 1953 and seats 4,824 people in the stands, with up to an additional 1,480 seats available to add on the floor. It is located adjacent to Stadion Wojska Polskiego and is primarily used for popular music concerts, ice hockey and other indoor sports, and it is the home of the hockey team UHKS Mazowsze. Torwar Hall hosted the 2001 Saporta Cup final in which Maroussi BC defeated Elan Sportif Chalonnais. On 22–28 January 2007 the Hall hosted the 2007 European Figure Skating Championships and the arena hosted a Preliminary round group of the EuroBasket 2009. It has also hosted a number of Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki (KSW) mixed martial arts events. In 1984 Iron Maiden played the opening night of their 197 concert World Slavery Tour to a capacity crowd at Torwar with thousands of fans listening outside the venue. In 1985 Depeche Mode played one of their first concerts in Eastern Europe in Torwar.OneRepublic performed at this venue on 2 November 2014 during the European leg of their Native Tour. Def Leppard played here in 2015 with support from hometown heroes Lessdress, Poland's best known glam/sleaze rock band.Evanescence performed there on 20 June 2017 during their European tour. Rapper Macklemore will perform here on 26 April 2018 during his Gemini Tour.

The Halina Mikołajska Monument is a monument in Warsaw, Poland, in the Downtown disctict, located in the Marshal Edward Rydz-Śmigły Park near the building of the Senate of Poland. It consists of a bronze statue of Halina Mikołajska (1925–1989), actress and activist of the pro-democratic movement in the Polish People's Republic. The monument was designed by Krystyna Fałdyga-Solska, and unveiled on 4 June 2012.

Marshal Edward Rydz-Śmigły Park, often simplified to Marshal Rydz Park (pronounced Ritz), is a major parkland in the historic Frascati and Solec neighbourhoods of central Warsaw, Poland. It is situated in the administrative South Downtown (Śródmieście Południowe) district, on the western bank of the Vistula river. The 53-hectare park opened on 22 July 1955 and was continuously enlarged up until 1964.

Batory High School is a public secondary school founded on 1 September 1918 and located at 6 Myśliwiecka Street in Warsaw, Poland. It is one of the best and most prestigious high schools in Poland. Famous alumni include among others composer Witold Lutosławski and poet and Home Army soldier Krzysztof Kamil Baczyński, killed during the Warsaw Uprising. The school offers subject-profiled classes taught both in Polish and English. Enhanced education in mathematics, physics, biology, chemistry, humanities (languages and history) and geography is provided. Since 2005, the school offers the two-year IB program intended for students aged 16–19.

The Średnicowy Bridge is a rail bridge over the Vistula River in Warsaw, north of the Poniatowski Bridge. It forms a part of the Warsaw Cross-City Line and was originally built between 1921 and 1931 to connect the (now defunct) Warszawa Główna railway station and what is now the Warszawa Wschodnia railway station.
