Tantris is a restaurant in Munich, Germany. Opened in 1971, it is regarded as one of the best restaurants in Germany. It was voted 44th best in the world in the Restaurant (magazine) Top 50 2009. Chefs have included Eckart Witzigmann and Heinz Winkler. From 1991 till 2020, the chef has been Hans Haas. Since then Benjamin Chmura leads the kitchen.

Highlight Towers is a twin tower office skyscraper complex completed in 2004 in Munich, Germany, planned by architects Murphy/Jahn of Chicago. Tower I is 126 m (413 ft) tall with 33 storeys, and Tower II is 113 m (371 ft) tall with 28 storeys, which make them among the highest buildings in the city. The towers are joined by two skyways made of glass and steel. Also in the complex are two low-rise buildings between the twin towers, that serve as a hotel and additional office space. Overall, the facility offers approximately 73,836 m2 (794,760 sq ft) of office space. The towers are slightly shifted in the historic sightline of Odeonsplatz on Ludwigstraße with Victory Gate to the north and form a focal point for visitors coming from the north of the city.

Schwabing is a borough in the northern part of Munich, the capital of the German state of Bavaria. It is part of the city borough 4 (Schwabing-West) and the city borough 12 (Schwabing-Freimann). The population of Schwabing is estimated at about 100,000, making it one of the largest districts of Munich. The main boulevard is Leopoldstraße. The Erlöserkirche (Church of the Redeemer) is the oldest Lutheran church in Schwabing, part of Munich, Bavaria, Germany. The full name is Evangelisch-Lutherische Erlöserkirche. It was built from 1899 to 1901 on a design by Theodor Fischer, in a style combining historicism and Jugendstil.

The Max Planck Institute of Psychiatry (German: Max-Planck-Institut für Psychiatrie) is a scientific institute based in the city of Munich in Germany specializing in psychiatry. Currently directed by Elisabeth Binder and Alon Chen, it is one of the 81 institutes in the Max Planck Society.

The Ungerer Tramway was the first electrical tramway in Munich, built in 1886 by engineer and owner of the Ungerer Bath, August Ungerer. It was designed to connect the bath with the 750 m distant stop of the horse powered tramway. The 1.2 km long Ungerer Tramway existed from 1 July 1886 to June 1895, when it was adjusted because of the extension of the horse tramway to the north cemetery. The current supply was made with x volt as at the Gross-Lichterfelde Tramway by the rails, which began only some meters after the last stops, which were increased. Thus for a start of the trip the brakes were loosened, whereby the train loose-rolled by the force of gravity, before it began to drive electrically. The vehicle shed with the clock tower for the two green motor coaches with gold ornament and two summer cars still stood in the year 1944.

Bonner Platz, 1906 named after the city of Bonn, is a square in the Schwabing district of Munich, in the Schwabing-West quarter. The underground station of the same name Bonner Platz of the line U3 is located here.The following streets flows into the square (clockwise): from the west the Karl-Theodor-Straße, from the north the Bonner Straße, from the North East corner of the square to the east the Rheinstraße, from the South East Corner of the square to the east Karl-Theodor-Straße and to the south Viktoriastraße. The square is crossed diagonally by the western Karl-Theodor-Straße and the Rheinstraße, which merge into each other here and belong to the busy city tangent Dietlindenstraße - Potsdamer Straße - Rheinstraße - Karl-Theodor-Straße - Ackermannstraße. In contrast, the eastern Karl-Theodor-Straße is of secondary importance; it crosses the aforementioned through road and becomes Bonner Straße. In addition, there are narrow car park access roads on the northern, eastern and southern sides.As a result of the traffic routing described, the majority of the square is occupied by traffic areas. There are also parking spaces and two traffic islands (meadow with some trees).
