Lucknow is a hamlet in Angus, Scotland. It lies on the A930 road between Monifieth and Barry.

Woodhill is a settlement in Angus, Scotland. It lies at a central point between Carnoustie and Monifieth on the east on an unclassified road linking the A92 and A930 roads. Woodhill House was erected in 1604 by William Auchinleck, who later became Provost of Dundee. It was demolished and rebuilt in 1908.The area has been occupied since the Neolithic period, as evidenced by a Cursus monument, identified from cropmarks, as well as Bronze Age short cist burials that are found periodically.

The A930 is a single carriageway road in Angus, Scotland. It runs from Dundee to Carnoustie. Starting at its junction with the A92 road in Craigie, Dundee, it runs east through West Ferry, Broughty Ferry, Barnhill and Monifieth. It then passes through countryside north of the Buddon Ness, past Barry (through which it passed until 2003 on the construction of the bypass), to Carnoustie. It forms the main thoroughfare in Carnoustie and turns north at the eastern end of the town, heading north towards Muirdrum. The road is a single carriageway along its entire length.

Ardestie Castle was a late 15th-century L-plan tower house-style castle in Monikie, Angus, Scotland and was roughly 4.5 miles (7.2 km) north of Monifieth. Only partial remains of the castle’s foundations survive.

Barry Buddon Training Area is a Ministry of Defence-owned rifle range and training area in Barry, Angus, Scotland, which runs adjacent to Carnoustie Golf Links and the Dundee - Aberdeen railway Line.

Barry Mill is a working Category A listed watermill in Barry, Angus in eastern Scotland. It is owned and operated by the National Trust for Scotland as an educational tourist attraction. Situated in a secluded area beside the Barry Burn (the watercourse, which provides its power), the mill lies about half a mile north of the village of Barry, near the town of Carnoustie. It is a three floor building, containing a meal floor (basement), a milling floor and a top (or "bin floor"). A site for several mills since at least 1539, Barry Mill was commercially operational until 1984; it was then restored, and has been operated by the Trust since 1992. It was threatened with closure in March 2009, but has remained open due to local support, and the securing of external funding.

Buddon Ness Lifeboat Station was located on the north shore of the River Tay estuary, on the headland between Carnoustie and Monifieth, near the Buddon Ness High Lighthouse, in the historic county of Angus, Scotland. A lifeboat was first placed at Buddon Ness by the River Tay Lifeboat and Humane Society (RTLHS) in 1830, with management of the station transferring to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) in 1861. The station was closed briefly between December 1863 and March 1867, after the lifeboat sank at her moorings. The station was closed permanently in February 1894.

Barry (Scottish Gaelic: Barraidh) is a small village in Angus, Scotland, on Barry Burn at the mouth of the River Tay. The recent completion of a bypass for the village on the A930 road from Dundee to Carnoustie is something that was originally planned before the Second World War. There is a water mill (Barry Mill) operated by the National Trust for Scotland.

Carlungie and Ardestie Earthhouses can be found in farmland north of Monifieth and Carnoustie. They date to the late Iron Age, from the 1st to 2nd centuries AD. They are examples of souterrains, probably used to store food.

Panmure Golf Club is a golf club close to the village of Barry, Angus, Scotland. It is one of the clubs that originally helped purchase the Amateur Championship trophy, and is one of the oldest golf clubs in the world, dating back to 1845. It is a private club that plays over the Barry Links, and is sometimes referred to as Barry or Panmure Barry. Due to its location next to Carnoustie it is often overlooked by visitors, and with the number of members limited to 500 it is one of the most underplayed courses in Scotland.

Barry Links railway station lies south of the village of Barry, west of Carnoustie in Angus, Scotland. It is sited 8 miles 67 chains (14.2 km) from the former Dundee East station, and is on the Dundee to Aberdeen line, between Monifieth and Golf Street. The station is managed by ScotRail, who provide all the services at the station. In 2016/17, Barry Links was the least used railway station in the UK with just 24 entries and exits.

Upper Victoria is a hamlet in Angus, Scotland. It lies on the A92 road between Arbroath and Dundee and is the location of the junction of the A92 and the Marches, the Craigton to Carnoustie road, forming the main route into Carnoustie.Upper Victoria was the site of Pitskelly quarry and, in the early 19th century, David Hunter of Blackness constructed a railway line between the quarry and Carnoustie to transport stone railway sleepers to the main line. The stone ultimately proved to be of inferior quality and the venture was abandoned.
