Randall University is a Christian university in Moore, Oklahoma. Founded in 1917, it offers associate, bachelor's, and master's degrees. It is one of several higher learning institutions associated with the Free Will Baptists. Randall University is also a member of the Oklahoma Independent Colleges and University. In 2015, it had an enrollment of 365.

Southmoore High School is an American four-year public high school located in the southern part of Moore, Oklahoma. Southmoore High School opened in the 2008–2009 academic year. The school is headed by one head principal, and 4 class principals. The current head principal is Chealsi Conley. Southmoore High is a 6A1 division High School. It is part of the Moore Public Schools district. The school is the third high school in the Moore public schools district.

Plaza Towers Elementary School is a public elementary school in Moore, Oklahoma, in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area. It is a part of Moore Public Schools. Plaza Towers is located in southwest Moore within a neighborhood of the same name. The school's mascot is the panther, named "Paws". The school's current building opened in 2014 after the previous facility was destroyed by the 2013 Moore tornado; seven students at the school died as a result of the tornado's impact.

Moore is a city in Cleveland County, Oklahoma, United States, and is part of the Oklahoma City metropolitan area. The population was 62,793 at the 2020 census, making Moore the seventh-largest city in the state of Oklahoma. Located between Oklahoma City and Norman, the city has been the site of several devastating tornadoes, with those occurring in 1999 and 2013 receiving international attention. The 3 costliest tornadoes in Oklahoma history all occurred in Moore.

Mount Williams was a large artificial hill in Norman, Oklahoma; it was built by the United States Navy as the backstop to a firing range. The hill became a minor landmark in the Norman area. It was named after the commander of the base at the time it was built. The hill was located near the Interstate 35–Robinson Street interchange. The hill was colloquially known as "Mount Norman", to Oklahomans outside of the greater Oklahoma City area. While many in the state referred to the hill as "Mount Norman", the hill was also known by locals as "Bullet Mountain", “Bullet Hill” or the “Bullet Mound”. In 2006, the hill was demolished in order to make room for a Super Target. Before it was demolished, archaeologists with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, carefully excavated features surrounding Mount Williams. The report can be read on the Oklahoma Department of Transportation's Cultural Resource Department's website. One of the access roads into the Target is named "Mount Williams Drive" to commemorate the old hill.

University of Oklahoma Westheimer Airport (IATA: OUN, ICAO: KOUN, FAA LID: OUN) (Max Westheimer Airport) is a public use airport in Norman, in Cleveland County, Oklahoma. It is owned by the University of Oklahoma. The National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2021–2025 categorized it as a reliever airport.

The Moore Public School District, also known as Moore Public Schools, is a public school district in Moore, Oklahoma. The school district is the third largest in the state of Oklahoma, after Oklahoma City Public Schools and Tulsa Public Schools, with an enrollment of 24,075 as of the 2023-2024 school year.The district serves three cities: the entire city of Moore, a very large portion of southern Oklahoma City, and northern Norman. The district covers approximately 160 square miles (410 km2) and has pre kindergarten through 12 grade students enrolled.

Moore High School is a four-year comprehensive high school located in Moore, Oklahoma, a suburb south of Oklahoma City. The school is led by one head principal and five class principals. Moore High School opened in 1920 and serves grades 9-12. The school is the only high school that serves the east side of Moore. Academically, Moore offers a program in which 11th or 12th-grade students may apply to take morning or afternoon courses as offered at Moore Norman Technology Center. Twenty-seven Advanced Placement courses are offered by MHS in several topics including AP Music Theory, AP Studio Art, and AP Psychology.

Westmoore High School is an American four-year public high school located in south Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The school was founded in 1988 and serves the ninth through the twelfth grades as part of the Moore Public School District. Westmoore was the second high school in the district after Moore High School. Southmoore High School, which opened in the 2008–2009 academic year, is the third. On May 3, 1999, tornadoes severely damaged the campus, and its auditorium, and a nearby elementary school. The remainder of the school year for the approximately 2,000 students was finished at Oklahoma City Community College.Academically, Westmoore offers a program in which 11th or 12th grade students may apply to take morning or afternoon courses as offered at Moore Norman Technology Center. Seventeen Advanced Placement courses are offered by Westmoore in several topics including AP Music Theory, AP Studio Art, and AP Psychology.

Naval Air Station Norman is a former United States Navy air station. It was also called a Naval Flight Training Center. The air station opened in 1942 as the navy sought to expand its training capacity during World War II. It was co-located at University of Oklahoma Westheimer Airport. After the War, the base was inactivated as the military downsized. The base was reactivated in 1952 and remained open until 1959. The base was turned over to the University of Oklahoma.In 1944, the station fielded a football team called the Zoomers.

Sooner Mall is a regional shopping mall and trade area located in Norman, Oklahoma. It contains four major department store anchors, and a total of 73 tenants comprising a total of approximately 512,000 square feet of gross leasable area. It is also the top employer of University of Oklahoma students. The anchor stores are JCPenney and Dillard's. There is one vacant anchor store that was once Sears. Junior anchors are Get Air Trampoline Park, Sun & Ski Sports, and JoAnn Fabrics. The mall was built in 1976 as Sooner Fashion Mall. It was expanded in 1988 when Dillard's moved to a new store. JCPenney, which already had a store in the mall, moved into Dillard's original location.In 1996, the mall was purchased by General Growth Properties. On November 20, 1999, the mall was renamed Sooner Mall. In 2015, Sears Holdings spun off 235 of its properties, including the Sears at Sooner Mall, into Seritage Growth Properties.On October 15, 2018, it was announced that Sears would be closing as part of a plan to close 142 stores nationwide.

Norman North High School is a public, co-educational secondary school in Norman, Oklahoma. It was established on August 21, 1997, on the grounds of what had been Longfellow Middle School since 1972. Longfellow Has now been relocated to the building that once was Central Mid-High.
