Southmoore High School

Plaza Towers Elementary School is a public elementary school in Moore, Oklahoma, in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area. It is a part of Moore Public Schools. Plaza Towers is located in southwest Moore within a neighborhood of the same name. The school's mascot is the panther, named "Paws". The school's current building opened in 2014 after the previous facility was destroyed by the 2013 Moore tornado; seven students at the school died as a result of the tornado's impact.

KWPN (640 kHz, "ESPN Radio 640") is a commercial AM radio station licensed to Moore, Oklahoma, and serving the Oklahoma City metropolitan area. It is owned by Cumulus Media and airs a sports format. While Cumulus owns three sports stations in Oklahoma City, WWLS-FM and WKY have mostly local shows on weekdays, while KWPN carries mostly syndicated programming from ESPN Radio. The studios and offices are on NW 64th Street in Northwest Oklahoma City.KWPN's transmitter is off West Indian Hills Road in Norman. It broadcasts with a power of 5,000 watts by day; because AM 640 is a clear channel frequency, reserved for Class A KFI in Los Angeles, KWPN must reduce power to 1,000 watts at night to avoid interference. A directional antenna is used at all times.

Randall University is a Christian university in Moore, Oklahoma. Founded in 1917, it offers associate, bachelor's, and master's degrees. It is one of several higher learning institutions associated with the Free Will Baptists. Randall University is also a member of the Oklahoma Independent Colleges and University. In 2015, it had an enrollment of 365.

Westmoore High School is an American four-year public high school located in south Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The school was founded in 1988 and serves the ninth through the twelfth grades as part of the Moore Public School District. Westmoore was the second high school in the district after Moore High School. Southmoore High School, which opened in the 2008–2009 academic year, is the third. On May 3, 1999, tornadoes severely damaged the campus, and its auditorium, and a nearby elementary school. The remainder of the school year for the approximately 2,000 students was finished at Oklahoma City Community College.Academically, Westmoore offers a program in which 11th or 12th grade students may apply to take morning or afternoon courses as offered at Moore Norman Technology Center. Seventeen Advanced Placement courses are offered by Westmoore in several topics including AP Music Theory, AP Studio Art, and AP Psychology.

The Moore Public School District, also known as Moore Public Schools, is a public school district in Moore, Oklahoma. The school district is the third largest in the state of Oklahoma, after Oklahoma City Public Schools and Tulsa Public Schools, with an enrollment of 24,075 as of the 2023-2024 school year.The district serves three cities: the entire city of Moore, a very large portion of southern Oklahoma City, and northern Norman. The Blessed Stanley Rother Shrine is a Roman Catholic shrine dedicated to Stanley Rother, Oklahoma-born priest, missionary, and martyr. The shrine, which serves as a church, a museum, and a pilgrimage site, is located along I-35 on the south side of Oklahoma City, in the United States. In its first year of operation, the shrine saw roughly 120,000 pilgrims and visitors.

Mid-America Christian University (MACU) is a private Christian university in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Mount Williams was a large artificial hill in Norman, Oklahoma; it was built by the United States Navy as the backstop to a firing range. The hill became a minor landmark in the Norman area. It was named after the commander of the base at the time it was built. The hill was located near the Interstate 35–Robinson Street interchange. The hill was colloquially known as "Mount Norman", to Oklahomans outside of the greater Oklahoma City area. While many in the state referred to the hill as "Mount Norman", the hill was also known by locals as "Bullet Mountain", “Bullet Hill” or the “Bullet Mound”. In 2006, the hill was demolished in order to make room for a Super Target. Before it was demolished, archaeologists with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, carefully excavated features surrounding Mount Williams. One of the access roads into the Target is named "Mount Williams Drive" to commemorate the old hill.

KRMP (1140 AM) is an urban adult contemporary radio station in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The station is owned by The Perry Broadcasting Company. The station's studios are located at Perry Plaza II in the Eastside district of Northeast Oklahoma City, and the transmitter site is in the southeast side of the city. KRMP broadcasts by day at 1,000 watts using a non-directional antenna. 1140 AM is a United States and Mexican clear channel frequency. For that reason, KRMP is a daytimer, required to go off the air at sunset when radio waves travel further. That stops KRMP from interfering with the frequency's two Class A stations, WRVA in Richmond, Virginia, and XEMR in Monterrey, Mexico. For listeners wanting to hear KRMP around the clock, programming is heard on FM translator K222FQ at 92.1 MHz.

University of Oklahoma Westheimer Airport (IATA: OUN, ICAO: KOUN, FAA LID: OUN) (Max Westheimer Airport) is a public use airport in Norman, in Cleveland County, Oklahoma. It is owned by the University of Oklahoma. The National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2021–2025 categorized it as a reliever airport.
