One Central (Chinese: 壹號湖畔) in Sé, Macau is a waterfront mixed-used project developed by Hongkong Land and Shun Tak Holdings and completed in 2009. The 2,350,000 sq ft (218,000 m2) development comprises seven apartment residential towers centred around a 42-storey tower, housing the Mandarin Oriental, Macau with 213 guestrooms, 111 serviced apartments, waterfront bar, restaurant, and spa.

MGM Macau (Chinese: 美高梅; formerly known as MGM Grand Macau) is a 35-story, 600-room casino resort in Sé, Macau. Under a sub concession approved by the Macau government, the project is owned and operated as a 50–50 joint venture between MGM Resorts International and Pansy Ho, daughter of Macau casino magnate Stanley Ho. The sub-concession is one of several examples of new casino construction following the end of the government-granted monopoly held for decades by Stanley Ho.

Wynn Macau (Chinese: 永利澳門) is a luxury hotel and casino resort in the Macau Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China with two towers containing a total of 1,008 rooms and suites, approximately 273,000 square feet (25,400 m2) of casino space, over 59,000 square feet (5,500 m2) of retail space, eight casual and fine dining restaurants, two spas, a salon and a pool.Wynn Macau is operated by international resort developer Wynn Resorts.Wynn Macau opened on 6 September 2006 and its second tower, Encore, opened on 21 April 2010.

The Nam Van Lake (Chinese: 南灣湖; Portuguese: Lago Nam Van) is a man-made lake in Sé, Macau, China. It is one of two man made lakes in Macau. It is located at the southern end of Macau Peninsula. The lake was once part of a bay (Praia Grande Bay), created when the causeway (Avenida Dr Sun Yat Sen) partially closed off the bay. The project to close the lake began in 1991 to attract more development in Macau. Nam Van means South Bay in Chinese. Much of the land southwest of the bay was created from landfill. The Macau Legislative Assembly Building and Superior Court of Macau Building overlook the lake. The lake is bisected by the Ponte Governador Nobre de Carvalho or Macau-Taipa Bridge. There are four man-made islands within Nam Van Lake. Along with Sai Van Lake, the two artificial lakes cover 80 hectares of space. The lake is currently used for several water sports, including sprint kayaking, rowing and dragon boat racing.

Dr. Carlos d'Assumpção Park (Chinese: 宋玉生公園; Portuguese: Jardim Dr. Carlos d'Assumpção) is a water-side park in Sé, Macau, China. It is located on Avenida Dr. Carlos d'Assumpção. The park features: Kun Lam statue arbor playground fountains ponds promenade along the Outer Harbour

The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Macau (TECO; Chinese: 臺北經濟文化辦事處; pinyin: Táiběi Jīngjì Wénhuà Bànshìchù) is the representative office of the Republic of China in Macau. Its counterpart body in Taiwan is the Macau Economic and Cultural Office in Taiwan. The office is located at Dynasty Plaza building in Sé.

Casino Lisboa (lit. 'Lisbon Casino', Chinese: 葡京娛樂場) is a hotel casino in Sé, Macau, owned by the Sociedade de Turismo e Diversões de Macau (STDM). This three-storey complex was built in late 1960s.The original casino and the 12-storey round hotel tower were built in 1970 by Stanley Ho, Teddy Yip, Yip Hon and Henry Fok. A 270-room extension was added in 1991 for a total of 927 rooms. In 2006, another extension, the Grand Lisboa, was built next to the current complex. Therefore, a total of 2,362 rooms are in place in Hotel Lisboa as of 2010. This expansion was partly done in competition with the newly opened Wynn Macau, located right next to the original Casino Lisboa.

Superior Court of Macau Building (Chinese: 終審及中級法院大樓, Portuguese: Edifício dos Tribunais de Segunda e Última Instâncias) is the home of the supreme court of Macau and the second court of appeal. Construction of the court house began in 1997 and was completed in 1999 in time for the handover. The court building is located next to the Macau Legislative Assembly Building in Nam Van Lake area and located within Cathedral Parish. The three storey structure uses various types of stones on a concrete core: bushamered Portuguese limestone polished gray lined marble – arabescato Portuguese black cleft slate Norwegian Cleft Alta QuartziteSteel, glass, copper and wood are other materials used throughout the building. The building was built by local architectural firm Mario Duarte Duque.

Arts Garden (Chinese: 藝園; Portuguese: Jardim das Artes) is a floral garden in Sé, Macau, China. It runs along Avenida de Amizade and bisects two other parks, Comendador Ho Yin Garden and Dr Carlos d'Assumpcao Park.The park features: Floral gardens Fountains Statuary

Sé is a southeast civil parish (Portuguese: freguesia) in the Macau Peninsula of Macau. It is the second largest peninsular district in Macau after the civil parish of Nossa Senhora de Fátima. The parish area is named for the Igreja da Sé. This parish was one of five in the former Municipality of Macau, one of Macau's two municipalities that were abolished on 31 December 2001 by Law No. 17/2001, following the 1999 transfer of sovereignty over Macau from Portugal to China. While their administrative functions have since been removed, these parishes are still retained nominally. Its western part is the historic financial center of Macau. Praia Grande Central Business District (南灣中心商業區) is in the south-central part of the district. All banks (over 20) in Macau have offices here. There are numerous quality restaurants, 4-star and 5-star hotels in this district. High-rise buildings exist on the eastern ZAPE and NAPE zone, which was reclaimed from the sea, with a ferry terminal located on the eastern edge of the parish.

The Macau Legislative Assembly Building (Chinese: 澳門立法會大樓; Portuguese: Prédio da Assembleia, Macau) is the home of the Legislative Assembly of Macau and various government offices in Macau. The building is located in Sé, Macau, China. Construction began in 1998 and was completed in 1999 for the handover. The building is triangular in shape and overlooks Nam Van Lake and within the Cathedral Parish. The assembly's hall overlooks the lake at the rear. The building is also home to: Administrative Offices Legislative Assembly member’s offices Archive and Library Auditorium Function HallThe building was built by local architect Mario Duarte Duque, who also designed the Superior Court of Macau Building built next door.

The Legislative Assembly of the Macau Special Administrative Region (Chinese: 澳門特別行政區立法會; Portuguese: Assembleia Legislativa da Região Administrativa Especial de Macau) is the organ of the legislative branch of Macau. It is a 33-member body comprising 14 directly elected members, 12 indirectly elected members representing functional constituencies and 7 members appointed by the chief executive. It is located at Sé.
