MGM Macau

One Central (Chinese: 壹號湖畔) in Sé, Macau is a waterfront mixed-used project developed by Hongkong Land and Shun Tak Holdings and completed in 2009. The 2,350,000 sq ft (218,000 m2) development comprises seven apartment residential towers centred around a 42-storey tower, housing the Mandarin Oriental, Macau with 213 guestrooms, 111 serviced apartments, waterfront bar, restaurant, and spa.

The Mandarin Oriental, Macau (Chinese: 澳門文華東方酒店) is a luxury hotel on Avenida Dr. Sun Yat-sen in Sé, Macau, Special administrative regions of China. The hotel overlooks the Outer Harbour and Nam Van Lake, and is part of the One Central development connected to the MGM Macau and immediately to the south of the Wynn Macau. The Mandarin Oriental has 213 rooms and is managed by Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.The hotel opened on 29 June 2010. Despite being in Macau, the property does not have a casino so as to differentiate itself and provide a non-gaming alternative to guests and is the only non-gaming five-star hotel in Macau. The hotel is described by Lonely Planet as a "refreshing alternative" to the many casino hotels of the city.The property also features 92 residences and serviced apartments, located on the fifteen floors above the hotel.

Its counterpart body in Taiwan is the Macau Economic and Cultural Office in Taiwan. The office is located at Dynasty Plaza building in Sé.

Casino Lisboa (lit. 'Lisbon Casino', Chinese: 葡京娛樂場) is a hotel casino in Sé, Macau, owned by the Sociedade de Turismo e Diversões de Macau (STDM). This three-storey complex was built in late 1960s.The original casino and the 12-storey round hotel tower were built in 1970 by Stanley Ho, Teddy Yip, Yip Hon and Henry Fok. A 270-room extension was added in 1991 for a total of 927 rooms. In 2006, another extension, the Grand Lisboa, was built next to the current complex. Therefore, a total of 2,362 rooms are in place in Hotel Lisboa as of 2010. This expansion was partly done in competition with the newly opened Wynn Macau, located right next to the original Casino Lisboa.

Sé is a southeast civil parish (Portuguese: freguesia) in the Macau Peninsula of Macau. It is the second largest peninsular district in Macau after the civil parish of Nossa Senhora de Fátima. The parish area is named for the Igreja da Sé. This parish was one of five in the former Municipality of Macau, one of Macau's two municipalities that were abolished on 31 December 2001 by Law No. 17/2001, following the 1999 transfer of sovereignty over Macau from Portugal to China. While their administrative functions have since been removed, these parishes are still retained nominally. Its western part is the historic financial center of Macau. Praia Grande Central Business District (南灣中心商業區) is in the south-central part of the district. All banks (over 20) in Macau have offices here. There are numerous quality restaurants, 4-star and 5-star hotels in this district. High-rise buildings exist on the eastern ZAPE and NAPE zone, which was reclaimed from the sea, with a ferry terminal located on the eastern edge of the parish.

The Nam Van Lake (Chinese: 南灣湖; Portuguese: Lago Nam Van) is a man-made lake in Sé, Macau, China. It is one of two man made lakes in Macau. It is located at the southern end of Macau Peninsula. The lake was once part of a bay (Praia Grande Bay), created when the causeway (Avenida Dr Sun Yat Sen) partially closed off the bay. The project to close the lake began in 1991 to attract more development in Macau. Nam Van means South Bay in Chinese. Much of the land southwest of the bay was created from landfill. The Macau Legislative Assembly Building and Superior Court of Macau Building overlook the lake. The lake is bisected by the Ponte Governador Nobre de Carvalho or Macau-Taipa Bridge. There are four man-made islands within Nam Van Lake. Along with Sai Van Lake, the two artificial lakes cover 80 hectares of space. The lake is currently used for several water sports, including sprint kayaking, rowing and dragon boat racing.

The Fort São Francisco of Macau (Fortaleza de São Francisco de Macau in Portuguese) also known as the São Francisco Barracks (Quartel de São Francisco in Portuguese) is a former fort of the Portuguese Empire built in Macau, China. It was erected southeast of Praia Grande, in front of Taipa channel. The fort was originally a artillery battery, the fire of which sank the Dutch warship Gallias during the Battle of Macau. It was expanded in 1629 and turned into a proper fort. It had an oval shape and its walls measured six meters high.The fort was incorporated into the Monastery of Saint Francis, built by Spanish missionaries in 1580 but it closed in 1834 and was demolished in 1861. Five years later the São Francisco Barracks were installed in the fort, to house the 4th Line Battalion, transferred to Macau in 1864. On the cape just below the barracks the Battery 1º de Dezembro was built, in 1872 but it was demolished when the Outer Harbour was filled, in 1934. It's artillery included a culverin that could fire a 17kg cannoball across the channel. Its installations currently house the Macau Security Forces Management Bureau and Museum, established in 1991 to take over the functions from the former Public Security Forces Headquarters. Within, a collection of old guns and armoured cars can be found, as well as paintings of the old fort and monastery, and other military artefacts.

Grand Lisboa (Chinese: 新葡京, Portuguese: Grande Lisboa) is a 47-floor, 261-metre-tall (856 ft) hotel in Sé, Macau. It is owned by Sociedade de Turismo e Diversões de Macau and designed by Hong Kong architects Dennis Lau and Ng Chun Man with the interiors created by Khuan Chew, Design Principal of KCA International. Its casino and restaurants were opened on February 11, 2007, while the hotel was opened in December 2008. The casino offers 800 gaming tables and 1,000 slot machines. The hotel contains 430 hotel rooms and suites. The Grand Lisboa is the tallest building in Macau and the most distinctive part of its skyline. The casino is the first in Macau to offer Texas hold 'em poker ring games. It was also the first to offer craps, though several other casinos in Macau now offer the game. In 2017 it was reported that the Grand Lisboa suffered a decline in revenue and profits during 2016.
