Kangy Angy () is a semi-rural suburb of the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia. It is in a small valley along Ourimbah Creek and the Pacific Highway. It is part of the Central Coast Council local government area. Home to a section of the convict built Great North Road, the area remained important as a hill crossing between Sydney and Newcastle until large scale earthworks permitted the development of more direct roads and highways. Nowadays it is home to several small farms and pasture used for agistment. The valley is bordered by State Forest to the north and west and the Sydney-Newcastle railway line to the south-east. Koalas, grey wallabies, echidnas, wombats, sugar gliders, and many bird and reptile species have been documented in the undeveloped forest of the valley. Some isolated patches of temperate rainforest add diversity to the nature of the valley. The Kangy Angy Maintenance Centre maintains the NSW TrainLink D sets.

The Ourimbah Campus (also referred to as the Central Coast Campus) is a multi-sector campus which offers University, TAFE and Community College programs and courses. The Ourimbah campus is a partnership of The University of Newcastle and Hunter Institute of TAFE. Affiliates are the Central Coast Community College and the Central Coast Conservatorium of Music. Ourimbah Campus is located in Ourimbah, New South Wales, just between Newcastle and Sydney. It is a bushland campus, offering a quiet environment for students and visitors, set on just over 80 hectares. The building program began in the 1990s, and has continued as the campus has expanded, but all of the buildings have been designed to blend with the natural environment. The Ourimbah Campus of Newcastle University was officially opened on Friday 1 September 1995 by The Hon. Bill Hayden, Governor General.Ourimbah Campus lies just off the F3 Freeway at Ourimbah on Chittaway and Brush roads. From the F3 Freeway take the Ourimbah exit, which intersects with the Pacific Highway, and follow the signs to the campus. The campus is within ten minutes walking distance of the Ourimbah train station and local buses drive right into the Campus until 5 pm.

Ourimbah railway station is a heritage-listed railway station located on the Main Northern line in New South Wales, Australia. It serves the northern Central Coast suburb of Ourimbah opening on 15 August 1887. The station had passing loops and a freight yard that were removed in March 1993.The station was upgraded with lifts added in August 2021.

Ourimbah () is a small township in the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia, located about 78 kilometres (48 mi) north of the state capital Sydney. Ourimbah is located approximately halfway between Sydney and Newcastle. The township today consists of small scattered local shops and businesses along the Pacific Highway, as well as the Central Coast campus of the University of Newcastle. Ourimbah had a population of 3,951 at the 2016 census.

Mariners Centre of Excellence is the training ground and academy base of Central Coast Mariners, located in Tuggerah, Australia. It is used by the club's youth team and the Central Coast Mariners Academy as a training base and for matches, as well as by the club's senior team for training. The facility also has a stadium with a capacity of 3,000 people. The facility was purpose-built for the Central Coast-based club and is the club's home base.

Berkeley Vale is a suburb of the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia. Berkeley Vale is commuting distance from Sydney. It is part of the Central Coast Council local government area and part of the federal division of Dobell. Wyong Road is the main road that runs through Berkeley Vale. Berkeley Vale contains two public schools – Berkeley Vale Campus, which is a part of Tuggerah Lakes Secondary College, and Berkeley Vale Public School. There is a private hospital and a retirement village on the lake side of Wyong Road. Youth activities available include 1st Berkeley Vale Scout Group. Berkeley Vale is home to the Berkeley Vale "Panthers" Rugby League Football Club and the Berkeley Vale "Wombats" Soccer Club.

Tuggerah railway station is located on the Main Northern line in New South Wales, Australia. It serves the northern Central Coast suburb of Tuggerah, opening in 1890. A pair of passing loops were added north of the station in 1948. These were removed in December 1995. The station was rebuilt in the 1990s.

Lisarow () is a suburb of the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia, located 8 kilometres (5 mi) north-northeast of Gosford's central business district via the Pacific Highway. It is part of the Central Coast Council local government area. The area was largely rural until urban encroachment in more recent decades. It is now a mainly residential area, composed of medium-density housing, with small rural properties on the fringes. There is also a substantial amount of industrial activity around the railway line and station. Educational facilities in the suburb include Lisarow High School, Lisarow Primary School and Narara Public School. The Test cricketer, Alan Davidson, hails from the town. Lisarow shares the largest cricket club on the Central Coast with Ourimbah, their club mascot is the magpie.
