Fairview Presbyterian Church is a historic church listed on the National Register of Historic Places near Fountain Inn, South Carolina. The present two-story building, constructed in 1858 in the Greek Revival style, was the fourth building constructed by the church, which was founded in 1786.The building is in nearly original condition. It features white clapboard siding, a tin roof, a pedimented portico and five square masonry front columns constructed from brick reclaimed from the previous church building. The pulpit and pews are original.

Cedar Falls Park is a 90-acre (36 ha) recreation area in Upstate South Carolina where the Reedy River widens to 200 feet (61 m), cascading over rocks and boulders. The park is maintained by Greenville County Parks, Recreation, and Tourism.

The Hopkins Farm is an agricultural complex listed on the National Register of Historic Places located near the intersection of South Carolina Highway 418 and Fork Shoals Road in the vicinity of Simpsonville, South Carolina. The complex, begun by John Hopkins who purchased the land in 1834 from James Harrison, consists of the main house, a cook's house, agricultural fields, a pecan grove, eleven outbuildings and a family cemetery.

Tullyton, also known as the Bolling-Stewart House, is a historic property located in Greenville County near Fountain Inn, South Carolina. The historic property includes a ca1839 house and the adjacent ruins of a house built ca1821. Both the house and ruins were originally constructed in brick, a feature uncommon in the area during the time they were constructed.

Area code 864 is a telephone area code in the North American Numbering Plan (NANP) for the U.S. state of South Carolina. The numbering plan area (NPA) comprises the areas of Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, and twelve surrounding counties in upstate South Carolina. Other cities in the 864 territory include Clemson, Gaffney, Greer, and Mauldin. The area code was created in a division of numbering plan area 803 on December 3, 1995.Projections of 2021 anticipated the requirement of relief from telephone number exhaustion in the Upstate region with a new area code for 2024 or 2025. On November 28, 2022, the NANP Administrator set the implementation target for area code 821 to mid-January 2024 by creation of an all-service overlay complex, approved by the Public Service Commission of South Carolina, requiring ten-digit dialing. Permissive calling starts there. After mid-July 2024, callers continuing to dial the old method will hear recorded messages informing them to use the new method, and seven-digit local calling throughout the state will be over. Come mid-August 2024, new 821 numbers will get assigned.

Bryson High School was a segregated high school for African American students in Greenville, South Carolina operated by Greenville County School District. It opened its doors on September 3, 1954. It ceased operation as a segregated high school in 1970.

The Cureton-Huff House is located in Greenville County near Simpsonville, South Carolina on what is now known as West Georgia Road, or County Road 541. The two-story braced-frame farmhouse on a brick pier foundation was built ca 1820 for John Moon Cureton, a wealthy farmer. It was originally built in the common hall-and-parlor configuration but shortly after its initial construction, the house was altered to a central-hall configuration. Despite more modern additions to the rear of the house including a kitchen, bathrooms, dining room and office, the majority of the house has retained its original, historic Federal-period detailing.The property the house sits on includes several barns and animal pens, corn cribs, a garage, a blacksmith shop and a carriage house. A family cemetery, surrounded by a low stone wall, is also located on the property. The house and property is still owned by descendants of John Moon Cureton.

The Fountain Inn High School was a building that formerly served as a high school, located in Fountain Inn, South Carolina. It was designed by the Greenville, South Carolina based architectural firm Beacham and LeGrand and built in 1939. An example of New Deal-era design in the Moderne style, its construction was undertaken using grants by the Public Works Administration program.The L-shaped two-story building on a basement has exterior brick walls set on concrete footings. The original 800-seat auditorium has hardwood flooring on the main floor as well as the stage floor. The ceiling features period art deco style patterned panels and lights. The sides of the auditorium are covered in wood panels.The building served as the high school for the town for only 17 years, until the construction of Hillcrest High School was completed just outside the town. In 1957 when the new high school opened, the building became Fountain Inn Elementary School until a new school was constructed in 1997. The building was purchased by the city from the Greenville County School District in 1999. As the Fountain Inn Center for Visual and Performing Arts, it served the city of Fountain Inn by featuring traveling acts, a resident orchestra, a theater company and an arts academy. In 2013, the building was renamed the Younts Center for Performing Arts and began a multi-phase remodeling project that includes renovation to the theater, the lobby and the exterior.A new high school has been built and opened in 2021.

The McDowell House is a National Register of Historic Places property located in Fountain Inn, South Carolina, United States. The Craftsman style bungalow was built in 1922 by J. B. Wasson for his sister, Quentine Wasson McDowell.The house features a cross-gabled front porch supported by wooden pillars on brick piers, exposed rafters, wide overhanging eaves, a pergola, and original interior details including wood flooring, window and door surrounds, fireplace surrounds and trim. The pine and oak used in its construction came from nearby property owned by J. B. Wasson.The front-gabled frame garage to the rear of the house, likely built at the same time as the house, has exterior detailing consistent with the main house including weatherboard siding and a tin roof.
