Simpsonville is a city in Greenville County, South Carolina, United States. It is part of the Greenville, SC Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 22,234 at the 2020 census, up from 18,238 in the 2010 census. Simpsonville is part of the "Golden Strip", along with Mauldin and Fountain Inn, an area which is noted for having low unemployment due to a diversity of industries including H.B. Fuller, KEMET, Sealed Air and Milliken. It is the 23rd-most populous city in South Carolina.

The Burdette Building, also known as Burdette Hardware Building or B.W. Burdette Building, in Simpsonville, South Carolina, was listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 2003. It is a two-story building with brick walls laid in running bond, interrupted by pilasters. It was built in 1921 to replace the wood frame and brick building on the same site which had been destroyed by a fire. It was the largest building in Simpsonville and it stimulated the commercial economy which otherwise was waning. It is located across the street from 101 East Curtis Street and the Simpsonville Clock Tower.

101 East Curtis Street, in Simpsonville, South Carolina, is the oldest brick building in the city. It is a two-story building with a brick exterior. It was built in 1886 by Sidney J. Wilson. It was called Wilson's Store and sold groceries. The upstairs has been used for various purposes from apartments to a doctor's office. It is located across the street from the Burdette Building and the Simpsonville Clock Tower.

First Baptist Simpsonville, formerly Simpsonville Baptist Church, is a historic Baptist church based in Simpsonville, South Carolina, United States. It is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention.

The CCNB Amphitheatre, formerly the Charter Amphitheatre, is an outdoor amphitheater in Simpsonville, South Carolina, that specializes in hosting large concerts. The venue is located in Heritage Park. It was renamed under a new naming rights deal with Coastal Carolina National Bank. It has a capacity of 15,000 persons.

The McDowell House is a National Register of Historic Places property located in Fountain Inn, South Carolina, United States. The Craftsman style bungalow was built in 1922 by J. B. Wasson for his sister, Quentine Wasson McDowell.The house features a cross-gabled front porch supported by wooden pillars on brick piers, exposed rafters, wide overhanging eaves, a pergola, and original interior details including wood flooring, window and door surrounds, fireplace surrounds and trim. The pine and oak used in its construction came from nearby property owned by J. B. Wasson.The front-gabled frame garage to the rear of the house, likely built at the same time as the house, has exterior detailing consistent with the main house including weatherboard siding and a tin roof.

The Fountain Inn High School was a building that formerly served as a high school, located in Fountain Inn, South Carolina. It was designed by the Greenville, South Carolina based architectural firm Beacham and LeGrand and built in 1939. An example of New Deal-era design in the Moderne style, its construction was undertaken using grants by the Public Works Administration program.The L-shaped two-story building on a basement has exterior brick walls set on concrete footings. The original 800-seat auditorium has hardwood flooring on the main floor as well as the stage floor. The ceiling features period art deco style patterned panels and lights. The sides of the auditorium are covered in wood panels.The building served as the high school for the town for only 17 years, until the construction of Hillcrest High School was completed just outside the town. In 1957 when the new high school opened, the building became Fountain Inn Elementary School until a new school was constructed in 1997. The building was purchased by the city from the Greenville County School District in 1999. As the Fountain Inn Center for Visual and Performing Arts, it served the city of Fountain Inn by featuring traveling acts, a resident orchestra, a theater company and an arts academy. In 2013, the building was renamed the Younts Center for Performing Arts and began a multi-phase remodeling project that includes renovation to the theater, the lobby and the exterior.A new high school has been built and opened in 2021.

The F. W. Welborn House is located in Fountain Inn, South Carolina. The one-story Craftsman style bungalow was built in 1914 for Frank W. Welborn. It was one of the first houses in the city and is one of the most representative residential examples of the Craftsman style in the city.The house features a brick foundation with weatherboard siding and an internal brick chimney. The house retains the majority of its original detailing, including original pine and oak flooring, trim, molding and detailing.

The James A. Fulmer House is a historic house at 303 North Main Street in Fountain Inn, South Carolina. It is a 1+1⁄2 story brick building, with a side gable roof and projecting gable section on the left front. It is basically Tudor Revival in character, but also exhibits Craftsman details such as extended eaves and exposed rafter ends. Built in 1932 for a prominent businessman, it is one of the city's finest examples of Tudor Revival architecture, and a rare example of design work by Leila Ross Wilburn, one of the first female pattern-book architects.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.

Robert Quillen Office and Library is an historic office and library building located at Fountain Inn, Greenville County, South Carolina. It was built in 1928, and is a small one-story, one-room brick Neo-Classical Revival building with a distinctive temple front. Directly in front of the Office are a rectangular reflecting pool and a round pool, and a granite obelisk known as the "Monument to Eve." Born in 1887 in Syracuse, Kansas, Robert Quillen moved to Fountain Inn in 1911 to start the Fountain Inn Tribune. He wrote paragraphs, editorials, one-liners, and cartoons for the Baltimore Sun, the Saturday Evening Post, and The American Magazine. Quillen died after a prolonged illness on December 9, 1948.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.
